Jamati Online is a portal dedicated to putting the spotlight on Africa’s brightest stars in music, style, film, books, and sports. "Jamati, was coined from the word Jaamati which means meeting place in Kiswahili. The original idea was to create a meeting place for Africans online, but as the company evolved, we chose to keep that theme and focus our content on African entertainers and entertainment through a vertical web portal, which is where we saw a need and an opportunity."
