In the United States, people enter “affiliate marketing” into their search engine of choice about 49,500 times a month. That’s over 1500 times a day.
What does this mean? Is competition that fierce? Everyone wants to make money by being an affiliate, right?
If you’re just getting into affiliate marketing, relax. Most of those people don’t know what they’re doing. I once had a friend tell me his plan was to send links to his friends. He didn’t want to do the work of building a website or learning about advertising. I guarantee that a large number of people who search the term affiliate marketing are just like my friend.
Affiliate marketing isn’t as over saturated as you might think. There are plenty of affiliates to go around if you know where to look. You just need to look past Amazon to see it.
Today I’m going to make it easy. I’m going to give you a list of the highest paying affiliates out there so you can quickly decide on a niche and get to building your site or campaign.
1. Health Care Market Exchange
Do you want to help people find affordable health insurance? It’s a noble pursuit in an age of contagion and fear.
Health Care Market Exchange is your affiliate if you’re looking to both make a decent amount of money per lead and help other people. They pay $40 for each pay per call lead that lasts two minutes or more.
This could be a challenging affiliate. You’ll need help building your ad campaign if you want to catch those Medicare Advantage leads. Find a qualified ad agency and you’ll make bank.
2. Hubspot
While altruism is payment in and of itself, there are websites that pay big bucks if you make that sale for them. Hubspot is a major online growth platform that helps organizations in their marketing, sales, service, and CRM.
You can make $250-$1000 per sale depending on what your leads buy. That could give you up to $3000 per lead if you’re able to entice a high-rolling client.
You must have a passion for CRM and business growth and metrics tools to catch these leads in your funnel.
3. AWeber
Are you looking for a marketing affiliate with a one year cookie life? The AWeber is your affiliate. It’s been around since 1998, so it will be a lasting relationship for you if you want it to be.
They offer 30% recurring affiliate commission. What does this mean? You’re getting money each time the client renews their subscription.
They charge clients $20-$150 per month depending on the package. You could be making a decent amount per year from this one affiliate alone.
4. ConvertKit
This newer email marketing company also offers 30% recurring commission sales. They offer more than just email marketing. Their growth-focused landing pages, forms, email campaigns will help your audience grow their customer base ten-fold.
Their plans range from $29 up to $2000! How is this possible? They offer customize-able plans for anyone who wants to build one. This means that the product subscription could scale with whatever company buys the subscription. So, if you can target those large enterprises with your affiliate site, you’ll make bank with ConvertKit.
5. Hammacher Schlemmer
Hammacher Schlemmer used to be that store in the mall that sold cheap and often useless gadgets. They were mere toys.
But in the age of big-eCommerce like Amazon and WalMart, cheap crap doesn’t sell well. You have to offer a wide range of high-end products to survive along with the cheap crap.
That’s what Hammacher Schlemmer did. They pivoted to try and compete with Amazon. And they’ve done a great job bringing in unusual and interesting companies to sell on their storefront. And their commission rate of 8% is now higher than most of Amazon’s after the big Amazon commission cut of 2020.
8% doesn’t sound like much, but when you consider that HS sells things like the $49,000 Amphibious ATV or the Golf Cart Hovercraft at $58,000, you’ll realize you could still make bank here. And even if you don’t manage to sell one of those big ticket items, you will sell in volume on their Amazon-like eCommerce store fronts.
6. Spocket
While this sounds like a machine part out of a Jetsons episode, it’s actually a a dropshipping marketplace. Your job, if you choose to accept it, will be to get leads to sign up for Spocket’s dropshipping service.
It will land you up to $450 per subscriber at a 20-30% commission rate.
7. Snov.io

Their referral affiliate program allows you to earn up to $4000 for only 10 referrals. And you can keep using the refferall program to funnel leads after you’ve given them their ten minimum.
The only negative about this affiliate is that they only allow recurring up to twelve payments. After the 12 are up, you need to make sure you’re bringing in more leads to keep making money.
8. Superb Themes
WordPress themes can be a dime a dozen if they’re not well-designed. But Superb Themes does a superb job. Yes, they have free plugins and themes, but they also offer premium themes. It’s going to be your job to get people to buy the premium themes.
The store is focused on SEO, page speed, and responsiveness. You’ll be highlighting the importance of ranking on Google and writing about SEO and marketing trends on your site.
The themes start at $29 per theme. They also offer a lifetime access account for all themes at a one-time $199 charge.
You’ll recieve 40-50% of the sale and the cookie life is 30 days.
