It’s easy to get deep into a project and not step back to look at the whole picture. You think what you’re making is excellent. The people standing behind you are laughing their asses off.

It’s all about perspective. If you’re going to create something that appeals to everybody, you need to look at your project from multiple perspectives.

Before we dive into the insanity of bad design, check out these keys to good graphic design. This will give you a bit of perspective as we descend into a world of obviously blind graphic designers (yes, that is an oxymoron).

1. App Rent Ice Ships

I really don’t know what ice ships are, but I kind of want one now.

2. How is She Going to Feed the Dogs?

Rise from the grave, feed the dogs, go back to your grave, repeat next year for the ASPCA drive. This woman is really dedicated to stray dogs.

3. It’s Cat Eat Cat

Thanks, Blue Buffalo, but I’d rather not feed my cat kitten.

3. Don’t Be Happy…Worry.

Syntax is a thing, you know. It really is.

4. Fashion and Art? Or…

Be careful what you do with your Fs. Seriously.

5. The Letter Shop?

This one gives me a headache.
