Snapchat is dead! Long live Instagram!

Just last year, Snapchat took a nosedive at the stock market just because Kylie Jenner announced Snapchat was dead. And since then, Facebook/Instagram snapped up the market.

In June of 2018, Instagram hit double the number of daily users on Snapchat. That’s around 400 million to Snapchat’s 191 million.

All the major brands know how to leverage Instagram stories. Here’s how they’re doing it.

1. McDonald’s Malaysia

Millennials are the largest demographic using Instagram today. McDonalds in Malaysia used this knowledge to their advantage.

They targeted Millenials by creating animated ads for IG stories. This increased their store sales 300%.

2. Mercedes Benz and Facebook Creative Shop

Facebook Creative Shop is kind of a secret marketing club few know about. Creative Shop is a service for the big players. If you’re a small company, you’ll want to hire an Instagram growth service instead of going through Facebook directly.

Using an ad agency like Creative Shop for IG stories, Mercedes Benz increased their reach by 2.6 million.

3. Lego Lowered Cost Per Click

You not only increase your traffic and your influence if you use IG stories, you can decrease your cost per click. Lego decreased their cost per click by 58%.

4. Cover Girl Increased Ad Recall

Cover Girl does have an estimated annual revenue stream of $83.8 million. They can afford to create incredible ads in IG stories.

Cover Girl did just that. They leveraged their quality ad marketing and increased their lift by 500%. This increased their reach to 30.1 million on both Instagram and Facebook.

Even NASA Uses IG Stories

Look, if you’re not convinced yet, you probably never will be. But even NASA, who only competes for public dollars through Congress right now, uses Instagram stories to spread information.

If you’re not leveraging Instagram stories, you’re missing out. Get on it right now.
