Hey! So in today’s post I want to take you step by step through a funnel that I used successfully to bank some amazing commissions as a Clickbank affiliate when I first started online! Before we get started, one key thing to note is that you need to keep things simple and congruent. If you start overcomplicating things, you will end up lost!

Systems work and they work especially well when your doing affiliate marketing, but you need to get each piece of the puzzle right and in the right order! You also of course have to provide value first and then go in for the kill later! Let’s begin shall we?

STEP ONE:

So, you need to decide on what product your going to promote! I will be choosing a product off CB and then I will use that for our example product throughout this training, so let’s go ahead and chose a product! I have chosen something called instabuilder. It’s a useful WordPress plugin that you can use to build landing pages and sales pages. Software and plugins sell really well, so I am already ahead of the game by choosing a good product and it’s not over saturated, the gravity is around 40.

STEP TWO:

Ok, so we have our product we want to promote now I need to figure out what traffic source I will use! I will use YouTube, as this is a very powerful way to drive traffic to any affiliate offer!. I can use a video from the affiliate page or I can create my own review/walk through video. I will purchase the product myself and then I am able to really excel at promoting this product and I know what it is about! Below is a sample video from the affiliate page which I could model!

Then from my video here is what I will do! In the next section I am going to be talking about creating a landing page for this offer. I will use my YouTube video description to link to this landing page and then this will be the next piece of the puzzle! Of course I will optimize my video and make sure the link is visible right away and I will even think about adding a link within my video so people are exposed to it more!.

STEP THREE:

We now need to send visitors to a landing page. Now, within this funnel I WILL NOT be getting people to opt in to my mailing list what I will be doing is having a link and a call to action to the next piece of the puzzle, which we will cover in the next section. But for now let’s focus on my landing page! Below is a good example of a high converting landing page (not for this funnel, just a generic one):

This is just an example but like I said I will get visitors to click a link to the next page NOT OPT IN!!. I am not going to go into how to produce a high CTR landing page, I am just showing you what is needed to a funnel, which is what this post is about!

So, just to recap a little bit, we have our product we want to promote, I have chosen my traffic source and we are going to be sending that traffic to a landing page! We are now ready to move onto the next section!

STEP FOUR:

Ok, awesome so for this step I will create a training page. What do I mean by this? Well, what I am going to do is create say three or four video’s and then from my landing page I will get them to click through to this page. This page will be the last stop before I send them to the affiliate link. Bear with me all will be explained!

So, on this page I am going to offer massive free value in the form of training and I am also going to take my visitor from A-B. Right from my YouTube video they have been introduced to this awesome plugin. One thing to note though, I didn’t expose all the features or benefits in this video. I gave them an introduction and overview.

I then transitioned them to my landing page where I highlighted more benefits and then I changed gears. For my call to action I spoke to their core desire. There surface desire is to find out more about this software, but there core desire is how they can make money using the sales pages they create.

===> FOR MY CTA BUTTON I SIMPLY PUT “FIND OUT HOW I AM MAKING $300 A DAY”

The video’s will include the following:

• Picking a product and what to look for! Teaching them how to do this….
• Training them on one traffic source, a traffic case study…
• Then show them how to create a landing page using the product I am promoting…
• Then the last video I show them how to tie it all together and show them the results….

After these video’s I will then have a CTA button (my affiliate link) and say something like this “are you ready to make $300 a day? This tool is very important is your success!.

So, let me explain what I have done here!!

Right from my YouTube video I have peeked their interest in this tool and then from the landing page I have reinforced that tool, but then I switch gears to talk to the visitors core desire as I have explained. Their mindset is now shifted and then I add massive value and show them how to make money with this tool.

The video’s teach them something of immense value for FREE, I slowly take them through the process of them going from no money to making money and then I hit them with the thing they need to make this work (the affiliate product) They have no clue this is even happening, it’s smart marketing. 🙂
