Those of you who have been following me for years know that I used to love to compete in SEO contests. Â For those not familiar basically someone picks an obscure term and whoever can rank for it at the end wins cash. Â I have won 2 out of the 5 and over 6k in cash. Â There has not been a SEO contest in many many years…
But there is now and this one is SUPER LEGIT on its prizes.
A Porsche for #1, Â 10k for #2. Â Never been prizes like this.
So whats the catch?  Simple the company putting up the cash for this is looking to hire the worlds best SEOs.  So the top guys will have the opportunity to work for a very very large company as a employee or agency.
This isn’t some nonsensical, ego bait SEO contest.  This is a contest for real SEOs looking to earn real prizes while beating their competition.
The dominant SEO will drive away with a Porsche Carrera S. Second prize is $10,000 US. Plus, there’s a payment of $10,000 for anyone who refers the winning entrant.
Some basic rules and conditions will be placed on the contest. Besides that, the more aggressive you push, the better.
Here is how the contest breaks down.

Is this just throughout the summer? If so Ill partake cause I have free time now, once school year starts up I won’t.
Ummm as believe so, don’t quote me on that though.
this is cool. thats for share.
How come you didn’t use a referral link here? You’ll get $10k when one of us wins!
Fake. Nice try.
who doesn’t want a porsche?
This is real.
How do you know this is a legit competition?
That’s going to suck for them if I win cause I own my own SEO company and not going to work for anyone else 🙂
P.S. What year is the car?
Hey Shoe, I hope all is well.
I got the email to get started but I tried to email them and can’t reach them at all. Just get a bounce. Both their support and info email.
What I would like to know is in the rules is you “get a chance to win” the car. IDK but I would like a solid answer if in fact whoever wins gets a car or not.
Don’t mean to throw salt in their game but I don’t like wasting my time.
Any insight would be appreciated
Thank you
Hi Ron,
I’ve had the same problem with the bounces and likewise the “get a chance to win” bit sounds pretty shady. Shoe do you have any additional information about this contest?
Thanks
Looks like this contest is crap! I’m registered and have a verified domain in the pool. My site is ranking on position 7 in google.co.uk (with IP from UK)! I still don’t see any points. And the points of the two current “leaders” grow from yesterday to today with 12 points, each! The max points per day for position 1 are 10 points! So they neither can monitor the rankings nor do a correct point calculation.
OK, they had technical problems, now the calculation is working and I’m on #3. 😉
