16. Call me old school, but I don’t really think of that as art. Peter Paul Rubens, Matisse, DaVinci… That is art. Cartoons shouldn’t be considered art.

    1. Disagree. His concepts are fresh, and I love the line drawings. Hugh’s art is a prime example that irregardless of the media used, pure talent will definitely shine.

23. I heard from a friend of mine Hugh also markets wines from South Africa. She met him once in an exhibition featuring the artist’s drawings in Texas, which also highlighted some of the wines he advertised. An artist who’s a wine fan, too? I am in love. 🙂

24. Kudos, Shoe. Hugh’s a great guy. I watched a video of Hugh once where he said that “the most important thing a creative person can learn professionally is where to draw the red line that separates what you are willing to do, and what you are not.” My deep thought for the evening.
