Been working pretty hard on this months newsletter.  Its basically a walkthrough on how to create local affiliate programs and make a ton of cash.  We have been doing this for a couple of years now and honestly its been pretty simple.

In the Nov 1st newsletter its basically a total walk through.  Everything from how to negotiate a payout to what business are best suited for it.  I even throw in a bunch of real world examples and screen shots of our local campaigns.

I am giving you several days warning so make sure you are signed up to the ShoeMoney Newsletter:

    1. I’m very interested as well! If it’s what I think it is, I’ve been interested in doing this for some time now.

And it feels like forever since the contest started. I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting to see if I’ll get something. 🙂

      1. Lol, same here. I’ve been waiting and hoping I win. Shoe, your the man. Your the only blogger I know of that provides AWESOME content and $XXXX prizes that don’t stink. ROCK ON SHOE!

        1. yeah, that is nice that they are giving away a whole laptop for FREE but, I never win anything so I am not even going to try.

    2. Yup I totally agree, it will be a very helpful and informative for online marketers. Great thought Shoe, looking forward to it.

  1. I am pumped to be a member of the newsletter. I am excited to have access to all the information coming up.

Plus winning the laptop would be neat too 🙂

  2. It totally makes sense to run local affiliate programs. I look foreword to seeing what you have to say in your step by step. There is the obvious sales perk of being able to talk to the businesses face to face!

    1. Me too! I signed up a long time ago and wondered when I would get a newsletter. Finally it’s coming and it looks like a beneficial newsletter as well.

      1. I think jeremy wrote a newsletter before about monetizing blogs and I believe that was the first one

  3. We’re doing this at the company I work for, so I will be sure to forward it to my coworkers. You bring da goods as usual, Shoe. Rock on.

  4. the marketing of this newsletter and the allure of the macbook are the best lessons in & of itself. damn…too good to stay away

  5. Great! I’ve subscribed to the newsletter and I hope to win one of these Macbooks. (Doesn’t everyone else?) 😛

It’s a good thing there will be two winners. Good luck everyone. 🙂

  6. Definitely interested to see the local PPC stuff you are doing and compare it to what I’ve been doing. 🙂 //g

  7. Sounds like it’ll be the best newsletter yet. Local affiliate programs sound like an intriguing idea.
It’ll be nice to finally win that macbook as well 🙂

  8. Thanks for the quality content, I’m looking forward to the local affiliate stuff as well.

  9. Always receiving kick ass free stuff… lucky man. Even the shirts you receive are bad ass.

  10. Hmm…. very interesting! Looking forward to this one! I’ve often wondered how well it would work to promote an affiliate offer using old school methods – posting flyers on bulletin boards and that type of stuff.

Or, spamming the diet section of Wal-Mart with colon cleanse offer flyers. 🙂

  11. Is anyone else having problems signing up to the newsletter?

I’ve tried two or three different email addresses but never receive the confirmation email. I tried using the site contact form but also didn’t get a reply.

Is it possible to get manually added Jeremy?

    1. check your spam/junk folders or try not to use yahoo, gmail etc. (free mail services in general)

  12. I’ve tried local before with limited success, can’t wait for the walkthrough to see what I’m missing!

  13. I’m interested in doing PPC for local businesses, so I’ve signed up to your newsletter and looking forward to it reaching my mailbox 🙂

  14. You know what, this is strange.

I’ve never considered signing up to your newsletter until now. It isn’t even due to the relevancy of the upcoming newsletter, it’s just… My eyes tend to just ‘look over’ CTA newsletter/rss buttons these days. Odd… but such a good idea on your behalf. ^_^

  15. I am definitely looking forward to the newsletter as I’m trying to get started with affiliate marketing. Though I’m not looking forward to the announcement of the winners as I know it will not be me. I never win anything. 🙂

  16. Damn if you painted your tongue blue/green in that first pic, you’d be a great George the Animal ringer.

  17. That macbook looks sweet, also looking forward to reading that newsletter, it looks pretty interesting

  18. Would love the MAC, but I think what’s in the newsletter will be more valuable. Looking forward to it! Cheers.

  19. Sounds interesting. I signed up to the newsletter way back I beleive. I wonder who the lucky winners will be!

  20. Damn You! I’ve been so good at NOT signing up for your newsletter but now I must go do it just to get an interesting article.

Oh well, the new notebook should come in handy.

  21. Local affiliate? That’s gonna be great! Hopefully I’m going to be the only one from my region that’s going to benefit from this. I’ve been your newsletter subscriber since the beginning and definitely LOVING it!

  22. Wondering if that local advertising stuff could be applied to Germany as well; at least “tons of cash” sounds pretty attractive…

  31. That Aluminum MacBook is beautiful. I’m so excited to find out who wins it, as well as the MacBook Air. Admittedly, I’m slightly jealous, but I will also be extremely happy for them. Good luck to all of those who are participating.

  32. I just spoke to my tips group today how contests are good for business. How partnering for prizes make it a cost effective win-win. Everything I have been learning online.

As the comments indicate, it is also good for community building.

  33. FYI — I’ve tried to sign up to the newsletter via the boxes at the top of the page, but I’m not getting through….I’m getting timed out. I don’t have the fastest connection in the world, but you might want to take a look…….

  34. Really looking forward to the newsletter, and a possible win. Keep up the awesome work Shoe!

  35. Very helpful for someone like me who lives far far away and has no one who can guide me in this kind of ventures. My upcoming network surely needs this tips. Looking forward for those tips.

    Thanks.

  38. Shoe,

Thanks in advance for putting out a good newsletter with content. I’m subscribed to newsletters from several blogs and more often than not, the newsletter is just a rehash of stuff that’s been previously posted on their blogs. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us 🙂

  39. The newsletter is officially one day away and I’m pumped…
I’m also treating this as a trial to see what Aweber is capable of…
    Thanks Jeremy 🙂

Psyched about the “local affiliate and ppc” part btw!

  40. Shoe, you should have the signup form redirect to your site rather than sending the user to an unbranded thank you page. Yes, I’m too lazy to hit the back button;-)

  43. Man Shoe this will be cool. I keep checking my email. I have been doing some local PPC advertising, but it seems that you’re taking it to a new level.
