So after my screwup with ordering 30 to many iPods…. Now we have 3 extra macbook AIRs and 30 iPod Nanos. What to do with them…. anyone have any ideas?

All of the iPods are engraved:

Seriously why do people love pics of these so much?

  1. lol… one guy that is coming is a national champion wrestler (defeated frank trigg) and is still in great shape. Not sure you want to do that 😉

  2. All of a sudden I’m thinking to myself… “self, make sure you go wherever that guy is speaking.” I don’t know what you’re thinking of doing with all that loot, but I’d like to hear your plans.

  3. Give em away in an effort to reach 50k in feeds. Have another challenge with the “Chowmaster.”

  4. Speaking of wet dreams, how about a best tit pic contest? Hehe, seriously, they have to write shoemoney on them or something and the best sets wins. Bonus if they are unholstered. The ones I’ll send are worth a mac and an ipod at least.

  5. Sell them on Ebay to show all your readers how good your sales landing page skills are by selling 15 with a lame ass pathetic landing page and the other 15 of them with a super awesome shoemonetised ultimate landing sales page… and see if the good ones sell for more, proving that your skills are l337 and worth reading.

  6. wow…i dream about ipod last night and now i see all that stuff here…. is it a sign for me?
first comentator or make a contest. and i choose first option 😀

  7. Have some youtube video contests promoting your projects. I know something you might be able to do with them and facebook, but I don’t want to blow up the spot. Email me for more.

  8. Ummm, you could give one to me:) Or you could be a sponsor for me and put one these up as the prize!!! Hey, I had to try, right?

  9. I haven’t break danced in a while, but I’d throw on the jumpsuit and gold chain for an air.

  10. wow, that is one thin laptop, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that thin before.

  11. I think Macbook AIRS SUCK and any Windows machine rules compared to these pieces of crap! You should give me one so I can prove it!

  12. I’d wear a Shoemoney shirt for a week straight for one of the MacBook Airs. However, the co-workers might complain about the gaminess after a few days.

  13. Honestly, though, what’s the point of the Airs? They require you buy a separate CD/DVD drive because it’s too thin to have an internal o.O How’s that convenient.

I wouldn’t refuse an iPod though, XD.

  14. I already know what you are going to do with them.

You are going to rock the blogosphere by giving them all to http://www.winningtheweb.com and letting Gyutae give them away in his contest. That is except for the Macbook Air you’re giving to me for figuring this whole thing out.

  15. I would like to see those nanos fight each other to the death, which is easily accomplished with stop motion animation and about 30 hours of your time.

  16. A huge-ass contest sounds like a great idea. (Assuming you can think of some outcome that would be profitable for you).

Maybe linkbait? Get people to link to you in a post about “10 reasons Shoemoney’s awesome… and should give ME an iPod Nano or a Macbook Air”

    Charity auction perhaps?

  17. For somebody like myself who is a die hard PC guy….that never understood the hype behind the Mac or the iPod…this would be a great opportunity for somebody to send an AIR and Nano my way to try and switch me over 😉

  18. Well, I think that you could send one iPod or Macbook to me. I’d be very happy 😉
    Think about it! hehehe 😉

  19. aww someone is a bit sad because he probably wont get any of that stuff 😉

That looks like a little mini Apple Army!! Though as neat as the design of the Macbook Air is… I’d be more than willing to accept one as a gift! The nano would be pretty cool too.

  20. I like this idea. Shoe, you should have some people participate in some kind of a viral marketing campaign like this…except on a bigger scale! If you don’t do this, you should definitely put on some kind of contest to get rid of these.

Maybe just start a contest- what would you do for a free MacBook Air / iPod Nano contest…and let people be creative. And then you can pick the most creative winners!! Either way…give me a chance to earn it!

  21. Nice photos. I still like the idea of a contest, but I’m thinking now maybe it should be related to the Elite Retreat. Since the event is about changing your business life, maybe your readers could step up and write some detailed articles on how they’ve already done so, or intend to do so. They could also write about Guy Kawasaki, Neil Patel, Aaron Wall, Andy Liu, Brian Clark, or yourself, and explain in detail how these experts motivate them to go further in business. That could be great for the Nanos. The macbook airs are pretty heavy duty so I would think about a multi-level contest or a task that really required someone to step up their game.

  22. Haha. I think it might be the angle. Or just a really flexible thumb. Mine goes pretty far too…hitch hikers thumb 🙂

  23. I could use a good MacBook…you know I’m your biggest fan. You are looking mighty fine in that first picture by the way. Have you been working out?

  24. I’ll work/do something for a MacBook Air

    (fellow husker) 😉 🙂

-golfer? I work at best course in area
-eats? I’ll take ya out to eat next NPMMO meeting
    -something?

    😀

  25. Oh one more thing.

    I am a math guy and…….. (in 30 min.)

    HAPPY Pi Day

that deserves an air since I’m such a nerd.

  26. Whats up Shoe! You could send me one of those macbooks… I’ve really been wanting to see what the apple craze is about…I’ve been a pc guy for so long, never touched an apple. Too bad I’m unemployed and can’t afford one right now lol.

  27. Thats actually a great idea. You could end up making your money back 10x if it went viral.

  28. jeremy i think a blog rss feed contest would be a nice way to distribute those … and you can always sell back here .. i’ll surely bid some for the ipod nano 😉 because it have all the ebooks … and you can always give them to me for free as my Tip Sunday gift 😉

  29. I have the solution… Fill the Nano’s with the same stuff that going on the ER’s version, then at ER film one of the interesting sessions and stick that on the nano, (They have video) now you have a nano with all this great stuff on so you sell it at a slight premium.

It is also a way to give people a feel of the ER experience, maybe throw in a couple of clips of the limo ride etc. Could be some extra marketing as well.

  30. You could crank up some serious link fodder by sending one of those Air’s my way, an iPod too I guess. You could then write about how I got run out of town by a pitch fork wielding mob, you see where I live such items as those would be seen as devils work. “What form of trickery is this, how can it be an orchestra trapped within this shiny monolith”… G’won Shoey… I need the exercise and trying to outrun a bloodthirsty hoard would be a great way to get it 🙂

  31. Create a website showing videos of you holding the ipods and mac books hostage. Post your list of demands that must be met by your readers (contest participants) in X amount of days… if the demands are not met you will start killing the hostages one by one starting with the ipods …. save the big wiggs (mac books) for last.

Simply prepare a detailed list of demands that must be met by particpants. For each task completed by a lucky particpant they get to rescue a hostage (they win an ipod). The tasks/ challenges gets harder when you get up to the Mac Books.

Video Blog the whole event and it will take off like wild fire.

To show how serious you are film the destruction of an ipod if you have to!

  32. 1) Auction them off, to recoup more than what you paid offer a 15 min consulting session for each…this should boost the price quite a bit.

    or

    2) Send half to Walter Reed Medical Center, the other half to Bethesda Naval Hospital…If you want to make yourself feel good give to the troops who have given so much already.

    That’s my two cents.

  33. I think the Macbooks should go to aspiring bloggers who are working with dilapidated laptops – ahem. :oD

  34. Turn it into a red paperclip moment and see what you can work your way up towards – you could have some fun with it and get your money worth in both PR and goods.

  35. by a worthy cause I meant charity… not me haha. Seriously, Elite retreat can also be about helping the less fortunate as well as the successful on-line money makers. Also will give you a “good feeling”…. that’ll be worth every penny!

  36. Shoe, quit tempting us and create a contest already 🙂

    …a BASEMENT KITCHEN?!?!?! :O

    -Mike

  37. can i have one of it? ipod is fine so i can learn a lot from podcast. but if i have macbook, it would really helpful to read n learn from your blog from many hotspot here. 😀

  38. Launch an Apple Gadgets contest on your blog and get some sponsorship from Apple.
I hope to get my first MacBook labtop here. 🙂

    –blog for dream–

  39. They are so cool, especially the MacBooks. I want one of those. Put me on the list. It would make a nice gift.

  40. I’d be wiling to get a tattoo (brand or whatever) of your choice in the easily-hideable place of your choice for a piece of the action…

  41. Donate them to a school or something. maybe give the ipods to some students and the macs to some deserving teachers.

  42. Jeremy, I sent you an email with my WP Auctions plugin {gold version} attached, along with a custom style. If you did not get it, get in touch with me, my email is attached to this comment.

You could auction them off on your blog with proceeds going to charity, or sell them for a buck! Wouldn’t we all love that!

  43. Offer those to charity! That would be the charity of the year.
    I’m not joking BTW.

  44. Donate them to the Eliot Spitzer whore foundation… now that he is unemployed it’s going to be tough maintaining “client-9” status.

  45. You should provide a high res image of the Shoe logo and offer the macs/ipods as prizes to those that display it in the most interesting places without breaking the law.

  46. If you’re *really* having trouble deciding what to do, you could give one to me! 🙂
I promise to give it a good home. 🙂

Other than that, I’d suggest giving it to a non-profit group, or a charity group. Or run a contest to raise donations for a charity, & use them as some sort of prize/incentive.

    Alison

  47. You could send one to all the people who sent T-shirts that you haven’t been able to display yet. 🙂

  48. Actually – charity would benefit from these.. OR YOU COULD DONATE THEM TO YOUR LOCAL SCHOOL.

  49. as I said, you can send me one.. i’ll pay you shipment for a nano, cuz my $300 iubi broke few weeks ago.. but i don’t want to beg for one.. 😀

  50. MacBook Air. I love it!

Are you going to ship one to Germany for me? 🙂

    I am a Mac OS X Geek! 😀

    Thank you!

  51. We’ll, this is the most fair comment as I actually have a chance at this one. 🙂

  52. It is going to be difficult to try and stage a 30 iPod Nano and 3 Macbook Air giveaway. Even for a blog contest, that’s one hell of a giveaway. That said, I don’t think you need the additional traffic. You get enough linkbacks as it is and there is very little the extra traffic most bloggers can give you with the exception of maybe SEO purposes.

I would AIM at making a donation to some charity. It would prove to be more worthwhile although the blogging community prefer you’d give it to them. Theres no doubt I would love to get a MacBook Air and an iPod Nano myself, but there are people out there who would benefit more from these. If you want to seriously benefit from this, think of the $1 PS3 giveaway a couple years back. On Ouch rececived some pretty good news media coverage on TV (one before and one after) that received massive publicity. There is one way you can give it to those who need it more and still reap great benefits from the traffic.

Oh and feel free to give me something for the idea LOL. I definitely wouldn’t mind ^_~

  53. Did you end up getting double charged or was the first set of $30 still free LOL

BTW I left my idea down below.

  54. Seriously why do people love pics of these so much?

Probably because they’re amazingly beautiful? I’m not an Apple fanboi – I’ve never touched a mac – but they really are awesome looking.

  55. 1000 true fans? nah.. just gimme 30 hardcore mo fo’s willing to tattoo shoemoney on their ass for a mac book air..

  56. wow. I’ve been wanting to get a macbook for a while now and give the whole mac os world a try but have always worried it could end up being a waste if I couldn’t get into it. So if you want to help your fellow mac people try to convert another over you could just send me one of the AIRs and save yourself the trouble of figuring out what to do with them all ;).

    Great pics though!

  57. Well, this is certainly a way to generate buzz for whatever you are going to do with them.

  58. Hmm well my experience with Macbooks puts me off forever, though I haven’t tried the Air yet. Just about to sell my Macbook on eBay actually as it annoys the hell out of me!

  59. Get rid of them so you stop wasting time with these posts and get back to posting about things we subscribed to read, that would be a great idea.

  60. Not going to gravel for free stuff…but I do have one question, where did the AIR’s come from? Did Apple give them to you because you bought so many IPods?

  61. Hey Jeremy, setup a contest so i can honestly get to winning one of those MacBook AIR 🙂

  62. If I may offer a suggestion, use the AIRs as a sponsorship for three deserving blogs just starting out. Stipulate that they MUST give them away to their readers in a contest within 6 months. A contest like that should allow them to develop a decent readership and really cement themselves in the blogosphere. You can shape the future!

  63. Do a treasure hunt across all blogs that post here to get blogs working together and give them away randomly to participants 🙂

  64. Shoe,

You need to step your appliance game up and get some stainless. I think your friends at Lowe’s could help you out 🙂

  65. You should give away the extra macbooks to ER attendess, have a drawing or something… or just give one to me 😉

  66. And another guy is 6’8″. I never had any delusions of actually winning 🙂 Although the prospects of coming out of it with permanent damage had never actually occurred to me either.

  67. OMG!! Apple!

I want something from this 🙂

Our country never heard about Apple before!! 🙂

    oh.. poor Moldova…

  68. How about an ANTI-CONTEST. Randomly pick 30 people who have commented in the last week or so and tell them they won. How cool would it be for someone to find out they won without knowing they even entered anything. It could be a great way to give back to your readers.

  69. Hey there! I think you should give 10 to 10 different RSS readers, 5 to the top 5 commenters, 10 somewhere else, and 5 to me 😉 I’m not saying give me them, but my blog is going to have a kickoff contest and if you could sponser it with a few (or even just one!) iPod nano, that would…..it would rock! I emailed you about it through the contact page, if you could take a second out of your day just to read and reply, that woul be much appreciated 🙂

  70. Yeah, pick and choose random blog commenters from the last week.

Or give one of each to me because I’ll drive traffic to your site in massive amounts.

  71. Not sure, what to do ?

Hmm, donate me.. OR create an online shop as none shop will have such a huge collection 😀

    OR start a new contest…

  72. DeLabar Family Album » Blog Archive » Craziest Internet Marketing Contest Ever just Got Crazier! says:

[…] contest grew by roughly another $1000 and there’s more to come! It seems that Shoemony has an abbundance of iPod Nanos and 3 MacBook Airs that he’s looking to get rid of and there’s speculation that some or all of them are […]

  73. Well yeah…. you may donate some of them or hold a blog contest.. wow… thats too many ipods

  74. Jer,

Not sure if anyone came up with this yet, but you should auction them off ABOVE market price. Anything paid OVER market price should be donated to a charity, and whoever the winning bidder is, they will get a link/banner (for a week) or a mention in a post, just like you do with the Friday t-shirts. All you’re looking for is to get your money back, and the winner would get exposure, a laptop/ipod they want, PLUS get to help a charity.

    Or just give me one.

  75. Sell them on eBay, knowing ebay you’ll get more than retail price for them. Make some money on your mistake.

  76. Shoe, I’ll BUY a Macbook Air from you… You have my email address on this comment if you’re interested.

  77. Sell some of them on Ebay, but use some of them for a contest here on your blog. It’s way better to get an Ipod nano than to win 100 Entrecard credits.

  78. Give ’em away to some kids who can’t afford them.

I’m trying to install some kind of a ‘pay it forward’ values into my godson. I am addicted to iPods (I mentioned in the other post I currently have four) I decided a while ago that I would treat myself to the newest iPod upgrade anytime they came out with one I wanted – but that leaves me with old ones. So whenever I acquire a new one, I give my most recent iPod to my (now 14 year old) godson, but first he has to give HIS current one away to a friend or schoolmate who doesn’t have one. I’m not a karma-type person, but I think it probably does us more good than the recipients. To date, between the two of us, we’ve given away six of ’em. Very small scale charity, I grant you, but it adds up.

  79. My faithful macbook died… I could use an air 😉
you cooooould give me one 😛

  80. That’s such a neat idea-giving away and then paying it forward. Most people would probably resell on Ebay or something. Nice to see some people using the philosophy. It’s such a great movie.

  81. Sell them on ebay and donate the money to charities. Your readers can choose the charities, so shoemoney.com will benefit from the buzz.

  82. You could send them all to me and I would donate them all for you. I live in Yakima, WA and I could randomly give them to people as a random act of kindness. I remember my wife and I went to Olive Garden a few weeks ago and a couple that was sitting near us paid our bill and we didn’t know their names or anything…it was a shock that someone would actually do that for complete strangers. It was very kinda but I would have liked to thank them…if I knew who they were.

It would be nice to pass that kindness to others…just a thought

  83. Have a contest, donate them to charity, donate a Mac Book to Andrew Pavelski 😉 (haha) Some hi-qual. pics you took there. All that cool stuff: What does SHOE want 2 do w/ it?

  84. For the mac you could have the honor of meeting me when I come and pick it up. I’ll be there in 1 hour.

  85. I like how you’re just chillin’ in the kitchen w/ some MBP’s and pod’s… Classic pics – you should stack those nano’s up and see if they touch the ceiling 😉

  86. Come on Jeremy, I been reading all this blog for a year now… You can share me one!
    🙂

  87. Will they fit in an itrip? If so I’ll drive down to Lincoln to pick one up this weekend.

  88. Oh and my piece of poo Gateway laptop is in its final death throes. Except the vast majority of my software probably won’t work on a mac. 🙁

  89. I think it would be awesome to give them to the readers… My laptop just broke :(. Or you can hold a contest for the readers. I also think that if you saved them for promotional things you wouldn’t go wrong either.

  90. I think you should probably do a combo of sorts: hold contests or do some sort of money-making activity for half the items, and then donate the other half…. though I guess that would mean trying to split a Mac into 2!

  91. Invite 30 more lucky people to the Elite Retreat fee of charge if they agree to do something in return such as write content for Fighters.com or donate their time or skills to some organization (charity or for profit) over the next year. It’s a way you can do good by encouraging other people to do good.

  92. on a serious note. Sell raffle tickets online for a huge drawing and then donate the cash to charity.

  93. Haha oh wow. I think getting a shoemoney tattoo would be worth all of the ipod nanos and all three of the macbooks.

  94. A are 7 things to consider for your 3 Macbook AIRS and 30 4GB Ipod Nanos:

    1. Have a contest and use this stuff as a “ethical bribe”
    2. Have a draw, giveaway, major publicity etc… people love free stuff
(get their contact info with a squeeze page)
    3. Sell them on eBay, Craigslist, etc
    4. Send them to me, I will sell them for you
    5. People will work for “free” stuff, hire some “assistants”
    6. Just keep this topic going, it should be good for some attention
    7. Oh the possibities… you will think of something 🙂

  95. This is actually a very great idea. It helps out your fellow bloggers but still allows YOUR readers a chance to grab the books in those contests. 🙂

  96. This is a really fun one too. I have to admit it…I love treasure hunts! Hey, you should do this anyway!

  97. Jeremy,

In regards to the extra new hardware you have laying around, I guess you have to decide how you want it leveraged first.

Obviously the choices are how to leverage the Ipods for business gain or for personal gain. Since you initially ordered them for the elite retreat, you probably need to postion whatever you decide to do towards the business side of things, but that said nothing prevents you from having some fun with it or derive some personal satisfation from the activity.

When I look at the photo of the iPods and Thins, it reminds me of a little army. Personally, I think it would be really cool to see how you could put that army to work to really achieve something big. Something where the $5000 cost of the iPods returns a 100 x ROI or a half million dollars.

    Some other ideas:

30 iPods is just about the average size of a high school classroom
There are on average 30 days in a month
Maybe you should call Seth again and see if he can think this outta the box.
This is an opportunity for something big
What ever you decide to do with them “Don’t do anything Ordinary”
Give a man a fish….teach a man to fish …well you know the rest
I bet new covers can be bought for the iPods and have something different engraved
Do an online version of the eLite retreat next in May, load up the iPods with everthing you record from the April Retreat, set the registration fee at $1495 to $1995, what a deal.

Just a few thoughts, I am sure you will come up with something cool.

    Cheers!

  98. I think I sense a bit of sarcasm in your post. While the Macbook Air isn’t perfect I would never say they SUCK. That’s what $5000/hour hookers are supposed to do.

  99. Donate the Macbooks to a local school. They can always use them and it will go to good use.
Sell the engraved nanos at a discount. Heck I would buy one if the price is right, I don’t care what is engraved.

  100. I think charity would be a good deal the the iPods. I am sure they could come up with something there!

  101. If you felt really generous you could give one of the Macbook Air’s to me, of course that’s only if you are feeling very kind and generous….

  102. Look at everyone with there hands out. What you should do is donate the ipods to a children’s hospital and send the laptops to a under privileged school that probably doesn’t even have a computer. I donate some of my proceeds to SWIFT children’s charities. What they do is divide donations between all the children’s charities. I can get you in contact with my friend there. Email me if you would like that information they are a pretty good organization here in Arizona. Let me know

  103. I guess the best way would be to give away these extra ipods and macbooks to needy students in underprivileged countries, definitely you don’t have hundreds of these to give away however trust me giving away even one of these can meanmountains and stars to so many around the world

    Asif Siddiqui

  104. I bet you’ve never tried to send something to Denmark.

I’ll trade you with some original Danish Butter Cookies or a rugbrød (rye bread made out of sour dough and much healther than Danish or cookies.)

  105. Give all of it to soldiers returning from Iraq, or send the iPods in a package to Iraq, loaded of course with music.

There are plenty of orgs still out there sending packages to our soldiers; you could just donate them there.

  106. I don’t think they suck, I’m just trying to get Shoemoney to give me one for free. LOL!

  107. the question of what to do with them is irrelevant. What Jeremy has shown us here is that if you can show that you’ve got extra of something, something that people want, and you don’t need them, it will generate a lot of traffic and bring with it a whole slew of comments to your blog.
Excellent marketing technique Shoe. ; )

  108. Hi Shoe- How about a prize & donation combo?
Have a video contest – using all 30 of those Nanos & at least 1 Macbook Air-
winner gets (1) Macbook Air & (1) Nano, PLUS, the rest get donated to the charity of the winner’s choice. You’d get great viral video, plus video is more fun-plus the links, plus the donations, plus one of your fans also gets rewarded. Win, win, win!

  109. You Should give them away in the winning the webs contest just an idea ~Nick~

  110. Creat a little compettion. Give those ipods to those webmaster who will put a big 468 x 60 showmoney banner on top of their blogs for a year :)). Their blogs or sites should be related to internet/ affiliate marketing. Must be atleast a year old and should have PR1 or better ranking.

I once did this with some extra tshirts I had from a tradeshow. Always works like a charm.

  111. I say get philanthropic. Put everything in a backpack and head out to Times Square/3rd Street Promenade/Whatever busy metropolitan center is nearest to you, and just hand them out to people passing by. Maybe wear a Santa suit. You’ll get lots of smiles and hugs, it could be good for your soul.

  112. Save them for the launch of the playbook… Then give them away to the top 30 affiliates. 🙂

  113. Hey, My 2.5 year old Dell has just died. I could use the Macbook. How do I win it?
And if I will be winning, you might as well throw in an iPod too..

  114. You should engrave your URL on the back of one of the MacBook Airs and give it to a homeless person. Everyone will be so surprised to see the homeless person with a fancy new laptop, and they’ll be sure to go to the website listed on the back of the laptop.

I can see the hobo on the YouTube video now, saying “Thanks, ShoeMoney!”

  115. You should give a MacBook Pro to the commenter with the most creative idea of what to do w/ the MacBook Pro. And then a MacBook Pro to me for coming up with the idea of giving a MacBook Pro to the commenter with the most creative idea 😉 I know ‘you know’ ‘I know’ you want to…haha

  116. There are a lot of good charitable donation ideas posted which all would be great. I’m sure you’ll find a good way to unload your excess electronic merch. Whoever gets them will definitely be happy.

If you can’t figure out what to do with the iPods perhaps you can contact a children’s hospital and see if you can donate them so the kids that are in there can listen to some music to pass the time each day.
    ~Terry

  117. If having 3 nipples helps, then I guess I’ve got a leg up on the rest of the crowd.

  118. 1.. make a pyramid with them. ( iPod )
2.. knock the pyramid down with a Shoemoney t-shirt and film it with your new camera. ( with a message that say : “even the success of the iPod is not as powerfull as The ShoeMoney ”

    1. Send 1 Macbook air and 1 iPods to Darren ( http://www.problogger.net/ ) if he promise to come to the next Elitre retreat. He also as to write 1 Post a day about how great ShoeMoney is for a month with a link.

    1. Have an auction for charity and invest the money in http://www.kiva.org/

    1. Go on the roof of a tall building , drop one iPoD , film it.

    1. Hammer + iPod + Film it. Or replace hammer with Hummer.

1 Ask people to write a blog post about someone they would recommand you give an iPod to ( teacher , fireman , nurse ,) etc and say why.

  120. Hi Jeremy,

I have been thinking about making a switch to MACs! I think I told you that. = )

    Sell ’em, donate to charity.

  121. You should give an iPod to the 30 people that made the biggest difference in your life – teachers, eye doctors, people that fired you from old jobs… etc etc.

  122. As much as I crave an AIr, I would vote to give them to the troops returning from Iraq, especially those with injuries. And give the ipods to the children of these troops you (we)have their back. I suspect Bob Woodruff could point you in a good direction there. It’s beautiful stuff guys, and I am a mac lover, but it is just stuff…make it count in a good way. Express your gratitude and pass your good fortune on. It will ripple and enlarge like crazy. You like fighters, these guys are fighting for real.

  123. wow thats some cool pics of them nanos. Give me one! Hey dude start a contest and give em out…just a simple contest!

  124. Some of the most useful posts on this site were the – “what you can learn from a…” series by guest bloggers. I recommend asking for more submissions. Post a new guest “what you can learn from a…” every day. Each that is posted gets an ipod. user voting determines the top three, and those winners receive the Macs. Another round of voting ensues and the overall winner gets an invite to the elite retreat.

    Say word.

  125. I’m just a poor SEO geek from Denmark, so just ship a few of them to little Denmark?

  126. Get some one to match your 30 nanos, and give the whole kit-n-kaboodle to
    St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105

  127. I could take one mac and ipod off you hands if it is taking up that much space.

  128. That’s an idea, get others to match it and donate it all to possibly several Children’s Hospitals depending how much others chip in.

I figured since the post has a couple hundred comments I thought they would all be about people asking Jeremy to send the ipods to themselves.

  129. One thing that you youself have often suggested to us the webmaster, putting these on ebay would be a good way to earn the money back it cost to purchase them. Of course if this is the way you decide to go I will be more then happy to bid on one of these bad boys. Well good luck with these. I am off to watch your latest video >.>

I’d love to see a MacBook Air to be shipped to Germany, a dream would come true. 🙂 I’d never be able to afford one on my own.

  134. If you send me two, you’ll get 2% on my Internet ad revenue for year 2008. 😀
Well, I guess you already have so much ad revenue that you would’nt care.

Hmmm… what if… you don’t send me two iPods, and I get 2% of your ad revenue… hmm.. nah that doesn’t work either.

Crap. What else, hmmm… well, Jeremy, if you’re still reading it means that I wasn’t creative enough to deserve my share of that. Maybe next time. Maybe. !

  142. Extremely interesting blog post. Your post is very interesting. I enjoyed this post. This article is great! I have to say that after continually reading terrible as in, same old ideas, little quality content, etc. blog posts on other sites, it’s pleasant to actually read something that has some thought put into it. It’s a pleasure to read quality article posts, especially after continually seeing rehashed crap that writers and bloggers are throwing out nowadays. It’s always nice when I come across content that actually has value, I’ve been seeing a ton of subpar writing attempts lately. Anyhow, thanks again and I’ll check back frequently to see what else you have to offer. I’ll check back in the future to see what else you have up your sleeve. Keep up the good work! BTW, I like your site design, but your header image was only loading half way for me. P.S. Your header is messed up a bit in IE. The problem could be on my end but I thought you might want to look into that.

  143. Wow!!! Give me one, i need it. Plus a macbook for college. Cmon, I’ll be your best friend 🙂
