Search Engine Journal Awards

Wow I dunno what to say ;). The community has spoken and:

Shoemoney takes home the following awards from the 2007 Search Engine Journal Awards:

Best Affiliate Marketing Blog

Best Contextual Advertising Blog

Best Conference Photo Coverage (4 way tie).

I gotta tell you I am very surprised. Lately I have been putting a lot of thought into speaking at conferences and writing on this blog. Just kind of thinking is it really worth my time? Are people really getting value out of it. Especially when we have so many other things going on. I am very humbled to have received these awards especially when you look at the amazingly talented competition the site was up against.

Thank you to all who voted for and thank you for keeping me motivated.

Also thank you to Loren Baker for having these awards.

Much <3

  1. Congratulations Jeremy. You deserve it mate. Your blog has it almost all: so very readeable, funny, misspelled, entertaining, educational I am only missing topless chick in Ferrari and free petrol paintball game πŸ˜‰

  2. “Just kind of thinking is it really worth my time?” — yeah, the $15k+ a year it makes isnt worth the time at all πŸ˜‰

Well done on the awards. Keep it up, yours is the best blog on the net.

  3. Congratulations.
Don’t be so modest. I think you know that you have a lot of readers and you have an excellent blog. I really don’t think you have to be that surprised. You are earning 200k per year, you have more that 13k of subscribed readers and a lot of stuff more. That’s more than I can expect for a few years of my life.
    Anyway, congratulations again πŸ˜‰

Wish you all the best for future as well.

  7. Congrats Shoe! glad to see your getting those trophies for your hard work. Back when you ran Nextpimp did you ever thing you would be here?

  8. This blog is great because you are a “real person” who is not trying to hype some program. You have made it the old fashioned way, you worked for it. Not too many in your shoes would spend the time sharing what you do.

Keep it up. I truly hope to shake your hand some day.

  9. You are a great inspiration to all and are well deserving of the awards and recognition.

    To your continued success!

  10. Well done Jeremy, even though I’m not the biggest fan of awards, this one is one of the select few which is actually worth it.

  11. Even if this blog makes about $200k per year, he is earning a lot more than that from other ventures, that is most likely why he is asking himself if it is worth it. Personally, I’d say it is, since you have the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people through blogging and that, leaving the financial aspect aside, is always worth it.

  12. Way to go! You deserve every one. Reading your blog and listening to your videos and whatever is always interesting.

    Major congrats!

  13. Congrats!
Though I’ve never taken the time to comment, let me tell you now that yours is one of my top favorite blogs and I even have you and your big check as my desktop (great motivation). So, don’t you dare go anywhere! You keep blogging. We’ll keep reading.
