Not to long again I started this thing called Free Shirt Friday. Maybe you have heard of it. Basically sites and companies send me shirts… I write about them and post a picture of me in a shirt. The idea came about easy enough…. companies/sites want exposure and I love t-shirts. Especially the shirt kind. Well earlier this week I took this picture and thought I would share. Its basically the 48 t-shirts that I have in a box in que for Free shirt friday.

  1. You know what this means, folks. If you send the Shoe a shirt, your post won’t show up for another YEAR. By that time, some of these sites and services that people are trying to promote may not even exist .

  2. Hahahaha well at least they’re ordered in a systematic and orderly fashion! πŸ™‚ I mean, we wouldn’t want wrinkles or anything πŸ˜‰

    Hehehe… J/k – That’s a lot of tshits πŸ™‚

  3. Ok man… so who does your laundry? That’s just not right. Wear the shirt… stick it in a box? lol Something tells me I see an eBay auction or a garage sale in the near future. πŸ™‚

  5. I need to create something that Jeremy will wear out so people will talk about it! Now, to the drawing board to come up with something clever… ^_^

  6. So if we send in a shirt now, it might get posted in September 2008. That’s a big queue.

  7. Exactly. Unless he starts doing free shirt weekends with 5 shirts a day I don’t see how he can catch up.

  8. my shirt is somewhere in there πŸ˜‰ what a craze u have started… but for the people that send them a tshirt is cheap advertising compared to the exposure.

  9. Oh, I think I see my shirt. LoL

Lots of shirts man, how will you ever get through them? You’re going to have to do Free T-Shirt Friday but do 3 at a time.

  10. You should start a different piece of clothing for each day, then you wouldn’t need to purchase clothes again.

  11. Why don’t you send the shirts to other smaller bloggers, we can take pictures of us wearing them and you can post the picture of us in that shirt along with a link to our site for Free Shirt Friday?

  12. Oh my… I had no idea the queue is so long πŸ™‚
And my shirts are still in the printer’s press, does it still make sense to send you fresh shirts?

  13. That is a lot of tshirts shoe. So, if I sent you one, would it take a whole year for you to wear it? Or do you pick your favourite ones first?

  14. I love free t-shirts. If I don’t get one when I got to conferences or seminars I’m pissed.

  15. wow… other 4 shirts and there will be a year waiting time before you will feature it!

i know i had to sent you a t-shirt after i saw you featuring a tee for the first time…

  16. I keep some and each week I send Susan down to good will for the ones I would never wear ;).

  17. Thats actually a good idea… I might start doing one friday, saturday, sunday mornings or so until we get caught up

  18. I was thinking the same thing.

Thought Bubble : “Why in hell did I ever start this T-Shirt thing?”

  19. So do they make the site roughly in the order received or does shirt design count for anything? I would think you’d want to go for the coolest shirts or the best companies, instead of just basing it on time in queue.

  20. that’s a lot of shirts, hey Jeremy you ever think about having a contest to give away some of the shirts you get?

  21. 48 of them you can ave almost 1 for a week wearing and you dont have to use washing machine πŸ™‚

  22. Holy CoW!

I need to start a free shirt friday πŸ™‚

I would never have to buy clothes again!

  23. Getting the mail every day is like Christmas thanks to T-Shirt Friday. The response from all of you has been awesome and we have loved the t-shirts, the fleeces, the drinking glasses and today we got the “pimp cup”. Your response and interest in the blog is really appreciated. The biz manager.

  24. I’ve got it, Shoe! You line up a few of the Shoefolks in a row each Friday for the pic so you can knock out more shirts…say you, Dillsmack, Neil, etc…hehe OK just a thought..;)

  25. THAT IS AWESOME! One of my dreams was to make a homeless foundation in San Francisco but I applaud you for doing such thang. I will stop asking for free shirts. I have too many so I usually send my old shirts to good will anyways. πŸ™‚

  26. I don’t know if T-shirts are considered SPAM though. What is the definition of SPAM? It seems like the label is used for aggressive marketing too…which is bad for SEO guys…

  27. Maybe you could ship a few my way. I could start a “Justin Cook” FSF, that of course no one would even bother reading…

  28. haha was thinking about sending you a shirt to put up I didnt know so many people sent shirts weekly.

  29. I was thinking the same thing. Isn’t there some village in Bangladesh that could use all those shirts?

  30. How about one day where we all where your shirts, pick a day and we will send you photos wearing your shirt.

  31. Or you could expand the album in your gallery with loyal readers showing off their Shoemoney shirt.

  32. Hahahaha, shoefolk, that is a really good one. I almost went to ShoeMonet today, typing too fast.

  33. Got it, just do a slideshow where you wear each shirt with a link back or a shout out to whoever the person/company is on it, that way you can get them all banged out at once.

  34. If there’s another dotcom bust – perhaps we’ll see you all shuffling around in shoemoney T-shirts!

  35. Jeremy, as someone who appreciates the value of reciprocal links, do you allow those whose shirts you model on your site to post the photo on the shirt ‘donor’s’ site with a link back to Shoemoney?

  36. You almost need to do free shirt friday every day to catch up.

Maybe do 2-3 shirts on fridays til you catch up

  37. Or may be more because till the time your shirt reaches shoe he will have another 50 added up in the queue πŸ˜‰

  38. You could always send them to me, not that I’ll post about them it’s just that I’m poor!

  39. Except spam is unwanted – who wouldn’t want free t-shirts? He should worry if he starts getting other articles of clothing unsolicited. That would be spam… like Thong Thursdays or something nasty like that. Filter out all free thongs, but keep all free t-shirts.

  40. Now I know what happened to the ones I sent… LOL.

Seriously, it seemed like it had died off until I sent one to you. Was that the case?

  41. SPAM = Sites Positioned Above Mine, or Shirts Placed Above Mine in this case. All those spammers aren’t giving anyone new a chance. πŸ™‚

  42. I’d guess clever shirts or by actually knowing you, or by having a good site that you want to mention. I could be wrong, though.

  43. […] Shoemoney on the other hand do provide a bit more to bloggers through a free T-shirt on his “Free Shirt Friday” posts.  I’m sure most of you guys have heard about this guy that racks in over […]

  44. […] your blog. Just look around, Chow being evil is being punctuated by his picture, Shoemoney has his every friday and almost everyone is proud of their face. And i’m not even talking about being gorgeous or […]
