After 1 year in development the shirt store is actually functional. (basically i been dinking around with various shopping cart stuff).

To kick it off for the next few days we are selling the famous white and new Women Babydoll t’s for 75% off ($1.25 apiece).

We have various shirts for all our companies… auctionads, nextpimp, shoemoney 😉

As of the time of this writing its only for people in the USA but by this time tomorrow we should have support for international shipping.

  43. Two “problems”:

    1. There’s something bugged up with the oscommerce install…I can’t select the proper state, probably because it contains special characters (namely “ü”), so I had to select another state that doesn’t contain special characters just to get an account…

    2. 30$ shipping per Item? Is that the final price or will it change once you get your USPS account and all?!

  50. hehe keep in mind your paying 5$ and your advertising (usually you get paid to advertise), so for him its not really the profit (i doubt u can make profit from 5$/tshirt) but the advertisement… At least 10 people will ask you what the t-shirt means. Free advertisement for shoemoney 🙂

    Seems high? Anyway to do UPS where shipping could be like $13 ? OR DHL even cheaper?

  52. still working on international shipping. It interfaces directly with USPS API to pull live rates although I think we will offer there 18$ anywhere in the world rate

    The big shirts are a lot more cost and little demand. I will stock more as demand meets.

    Sure, the shirts are a good deal but 26 bucks to ship 11 shirts that seems pretty darn pricey… but yeah around 3.xx per-shirt is still cheap 😉

  59. Ahh that makes sense. I worked in a tshirt shop for a while and I’m pretty sure we got them from the supplier for around that price and that was before we printed anything on them!

  60. Shipping to Canada is way to expensive. !.25$ shirt comes to like 30$ …

  61. There are some expensive options but I just ordered 10 shirts for our office here and it was only $24 shipping for Quebec

  64. Ive had good results with Zencart. Easy to setup and maintain. Might want to look into that if you decide to try something new out

  67. Any idea when the bigger XXL or bigger sizes are going to be available? I would love to wear some of these shirts to the SES here in Toronto but I’m not the lightest guy around… I know I know they have lower demand and cost more but comeon shoe help a brotha out 🙂

  70. True I hadn’t really thought about it that way, the $5 likely covers the cost of the t-shirt with maybe a $1 or less for profit..

    It’s quite ingenius for branding purposes really, though people have been begging for t-shirts for as long as I’ve been visiting this blog so I guess Shoe is killing 2 birds with 1 stone, added exposure and giving us readers what we’ve been asking for..

  72. Ya I think the key is quantity, the shipping price doesn’t go up much from 1 shirt to 2 shirts so if you divide the cost over 5-10 shirts then it’s easier to swallow then the cost for 1 shirt.

    For the people who don’t get the angle on this. Its about not only branding but link building for the store. BY offering t’s at that price he just got links for almost every freebie type site on the net+ every bloger that will write a post on how they got a cheap shirt from shoemoney. + All the soon to come shoemoney Ebay sales soon to come which will include page links to shoemoney which will increase his pr on this page during the next Google update which is in 2 to 3 weeks according to my figuring that will in turn increase his page rank from a pr6 to maybe a pr7 maybe a pr8. Pretty unique timing if you ask me. This guy is good at marketing follow his lead if you can’t figure it out for yourself.
