John ReeseIf there is a rev pimpdaddy of making money online its John Reese. John interviewed me recently. I originally met John at Ad:Tech San Francisco and we hit it off right away. Its cool when you meet other people that really “get it”. John Recently launched Income.com and wanted to interview me about various ways to make money (other then adsense specifically) and also that lead into talking about AuctionAds. Well the scheduled 30 min interview turned into almost 2 hours!! I have to say this was one of the most amazing interviews I have ever given and not really because of me, but more because of John Reese’s background and his deep knowledge of the industry he knew when to stop and amplify points I was trying to make.

Johns Quote:

Jeremy is one of the foremost authorities in the world when it comes to making money with Affiliate Marketing and we had an amazing discussion about different ways that any webmaster can make more money from their web sites and blogs.

This interview delivers more value than most Internet Marketing ebooks being sold.

That is a pretty huge compliment coming from one of the most successful affiliate marketers ever.

    1. Agreed with Andrew…as here in Indonesia we have very slow internet connection. Need one day to download it πŸ™

  1. So how much did this cost you? Or is John setting himself up to be your largest 2nd tier earner?

  2. ROFLMAO – Jeff beat me to the punch!

I love John Reese stuff. His info was some of the first I read and acted on many moons ago. He definately has his finger on the pulse of What’s Hot and What’s Not.

    Nice going scoring the interview.

    Don

  3. Wow.. what a great interview. Awesome info for sure. Thanks Shoemoney!!!!

  4. I still like you shoemoney….where is his 200,000 dollar check???hmm…but good questions nonetheless

  5. Great interview you got there, Shoe. I’m sure those 2 hours passed without you guys even noticing.

  6. I am listening to your audio interview with John Reese. It’s so helpful to hear this information. Thanks so much for making this available. I’m still learning. My site is http://www.tranquilityisyours.com.

My question for you is, I saw your Google Adsense check. Boy, what I would do to earn that check. Anyway, the question is, where are your Google Ads on “ShoeMoney?” I would love to learn how you incorporate Google Ads they way you have hidden them on your site.

Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

    Sincerely,

    Cheryl

  7. When you said Auction Ads paid a publisher $4300 for a single eBay lead, I got goose bumps. I really went nuts when you said the publisher’s site gets only 100 uniques a day. Wow…that’s just amazing.

  8. Hey Shoemoney!

Great interview with John Reese (the king of all online marketing). I was very impressed with the information you two were exchanging on topics outside of your AuctionAds network. BTW- I will be signing up today.

I do have one question for you that I would love to hear you shed some light on, that was brought up in the interview. That is the art of selling advertising space on your sites. I found that portion of the interview to be very intriguing.

Do you cold call some of your prospects and ask if they would like to run a sponsorship on your site or do you just email them? How do you approach this?

Any information shared on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    John

  9. That is amazing. Is that a super rare occurrence or are specialty sites making much better than adsense?

  10. I joined a new affiliate network a couple days ago and was working on writing an email to my aff manager when the interview hit how to write it, so it helped me in real time. Tons of good info.

  11. Did someone click from his site and buy a vacation home or a million dollar jet plane? What on eBay could have an affiliate commission of $4000?

  12. i listened to part of the interview on YouTube. I am surprised you don’t have it transcribed and sell it as an Ebook. Let me do it and I will share the revenue with you.

  13. Great interview! I love your site lots of helpful information everyone can learn from. Thats a pretty nice Adsense check I seen too. Adsense is definitely a great way to generate a nice revenue stream as seen here on your site. Good job!

  14. Downloading right now. Another great resource for my new iPod Nano πŸ™‚

  15. Longest interview I ever listeneded too! But it was very helpful, and it even sparked a few ideas.

  16. I think it’s other sites he’s making Adsense money from. This one is mainly monetised by paid avertising as far as I’m aware.

  17. it streams; it is compressed; further compression will reduce it’s quality. Can’t you complain less?

  18. John is an amazing guy.It must be a great feeling to be interview by one of your heros.

    Congrats

  19. John and Shoe Money together. The internet is run by a handfull of geeks who spin the same ol crap to different lists. Congratulations Shoe for making it to the whore level

  20. Nice, entertaining and informative interview. I wish i could speak as fluently as you guys!

    -Dave

  21. That is totally awesome Shoe,
Can’t wait to watch this one
*wondering when John is going to interview me*

  22. streams perfectly fine for me … rather than complaining to him might want to complain to your ISP

  23. This is a great interview and very informative. I found a lot of what you talked about is very useful information. Everyone should take notes when you are ever being interview and put to use what you have to say. I wonder if we’ll ever be seeing you in the future on those late night infomercials selling your knowledge to the masses.
    ~Terry

  24. Great post and interview. I haven’t had the chance to work with auction ads referrals, but I will…

  25. Shoemoney,

Nicely done dude. When John Reese notices, that means you are doing something right πŸ™‚

    Great job.

  26. Definately two of the great internet marketing minds – i’m still hanging out for income.com to be completed.

  27. John is one guy I admire , he has something to tell and that something can open your mind. Great interview!

  28. Obviously John Reese does incredibly well for himself, and as I explore this whole world of business marketers like him I wonder how come these guys aren’t more mainstream. I am not implying anything by that question, I am genuinely curious. Is there a benefit to being more under the radar? I know that Timothy Ferriss preferred the approach of going mainstream with his book launch as opposed to selling it as an ebook or some other form, and Steve Pavlina recently did the same with his book even though they said they could probably do better in terms of $$$ if they had done otherwise. What are your thoughts on this Jeremy???

  29. Just started listening to it. It’s always great to listen to two web gurus use their creativity.

  30. That’s awesome. I need to listen to that interview. John Reese and Shoe, yeah baby. It must be good, I think I just saw like 570+ comments over there.

  31. I happened to listen to the interview. Very informative.
At times I wonder at the power of internet. Earlier, if we were to hear two great minds talking and discussing, we had to sacrifice a fortune. But internet has made such interviews so much accessible that you can only gaze with awe at the power of the Internet.
Again when such two great minds are talking and you get a chance to just listen to them, you will learn a thing or, two even if you don’t take notes. Listen to it the second time and you will learn something that you did not get a chance to concentrate on the first time you heard it.
So I would want to listen to it at least 10 times and digest it.

  32. I’m always look for another steady income from the net but it looks like I have to spend more time to learn about that. Some method that I got by purchased ebook mostly tell about drive visitors and then steady income will follow.

  33. Jeremy,

good interview. One question ( the same as in one of the above comments ), why don`t you go mainstream?

I mean, you could do that easily, because the question is more or less about adding some new massmedia into your mix.

  34. Great…Actually John Reese was a stranger to me till i watch this interview…Just saw his name before with some of the articles. Nice to read more here…
    Thanks shoe..

  35. Great interview, I love John Reese because he knows what he is talking about and people can learn from him.

  36. Do you remember when John Reese and Frank Kern did that video interview with Tony Robbins a few months ago?

Kern was very relaxed during their discussions but I couldn’t believe how stiff Reese was.

  37. I wouldn’t mind buying you two a few beers and sitting with a notepad so hear what else is traded

  38. Realy a great interview. Awesome info indeed. Thanks Shoemoney you are the best in the business and to teach to make money online!

  39. Timeless information from John Reese, his knowledge prevails. I’ve heard a lot of great things about you also, Mr. Schoemaker…
    Thanks,
    Kelley

  40. You can’t beat the information and tips gotten from John Reese’s courses. My brother is a big fan. That interview was great – thanks!

  41. John’s Income (dot) com is up for grabs now.

High 6 figures methinks both for coolness in name and SEO and also all those juicy backlinks.

Income [dot} com ranks for so many keywords it makes me sick!

  42. Thank you, I have just been searching for info about this topic for ages and yours is the best I have discovered till now. But, what about the conclusion? Are you sure about the source?
