  1. He is funny. Sad thing is if people lie and say they made $10,000 in less than 30 days and suggest everyone come back daily for tips on how they did it, everyone will continuously come to the person site and actually help them make it possible in the first place.

  2. I’d heed his tips and sell my mother a free ringtone subscription but she’d sue me for fraud.

  3. Watch your ass when you go to the punch bowl. You just might become a hostage.

“I wonder how much Shoe will give me for Dillsmack.”

  4. I’ve just earned my first $500. It really works if you follow the instructions. hehe, I love it.

  5. Jeremy I knew you were holding back from us!!!

    Salad hen… THAT’S where you get your P O W A!

  6. I like his logo better than yours. Maybe you should hire a new designer. I’ll send my resume, I have 3 weeks experience with MS Paint.

  7. *LOL* thats awesome! Made me have a good laugh! Best part is his AZ ads check *L* 3.00…

  8. “I’m actually planning to hack pretty soon …”

That’s some pretty kick ass Adsense blending….you hardly notice it’s there!

  9. Do you know what’s sad? People will probably try it! I loved that redneck google ad though, I hope it was a real Google Ad or Google isn’t going to be too happy.

  10. I spewed coffee all over my monitor a couple times reading BootMoney. Glad you took it in stride Jeremy.

I was afraid when I blogged about it yesterday you may not appreciate the fact I was publicising it, since as my title said it’s RIP of your site. But then I realized you probably appreciated the humor.

    What a kick!

  11. I love it! At forst I was like, are these a joke? They could almost pass for Live Search results like the ones you get from Ms. Dewey

  12. This guy must have a LOT of time on his hands. I saw this while you were in NY and I was impressed by how much time it must have taken to make a completely useless SEO site JUST to parody you. You should bring him to a confrence and send him to the podium instead of you at first and see who laughs.

  13. That just made my day..
“Make up a b/s story about someone suffering terrible from a disease or something, and then ask for donations to help cure the disease. A lot of people are real suckers, so you can pick up a nice chunk of change from it.”

I wonder how many people actually do this on the internet and get away with it. And his phone charging is halarious. Man this guy is just funny all around.

  14. It’s kind of hard to lie about your earnings and still convince people you have something worth saying.

On our blog we state our earnings however pretty much every time we come up with an idea we post about it and then report.

I’d like to think blog readers would clue in pretty quick.

  15. Ya I’m heading over to my parents now to try out his ring tone lead generation tactics!!

  16. My only regret is that I didn’t think of it first, though this site sorta reminds me of

  17. Ya the green really blends in nicely with the grey.. who’d a thought?

Guess I won’t be needing this blog anymore…

  18. Ya as funny as the site may be this guy definitely put alot of effort into it, though really if you have the comedy power to think up all of this it probably would only take you a day or 2 to put it all together while drinking beers.

  19. now shoemoney are you serious…the one about the ringtones might get you dishoned from the family…lol

  20. heh – I didn’t even notice it until you mentioned it.

    I must have ad-blindness.

  21. Certainly needs one hell of an imagination to cook up something like that.. Kudos to the admin and yeah, its a hilarious read

  22. I’ve been waiting for someone to pastiche (ooh, big word) a problogger. If this guy hadn’t started BootMoney, I was going to send up Brian Clarke and start up – how to write rubbish blog titles!

  23. well, at least I have an alternative to those funny videos i watch on the tv. I do not have to turn the TV on the laugh my heart out… he’s funny, wish he does what he preaches..

  24. […] Jeremy probably appreciated the humor. I was right! He posted about it over at the ShoeMoney blog. BootMoney Keeps It Real – ShoeMoney™ __________________ Your Partner in Success, Linda Buquet :: Affiliate Management Consulting, […]

  25. You know I was going to do this site months ago but then thought you would kick my ass lol.

  26. Ha, thats awesome. I loved the picture of his check. Classic!

  27. Has Bootmoney been shut down? I went to check my fav parody site at 4:20 PM on 6/4/07 and it returns server not found. With the amount of revenue this guy is pulling down, the dinero he must be loosing with a down server must be hundreds if not thousands of pesos.
