  1. WTF, nice shirt Shoe! It’s always cool to score a new shirt and one day I will hit the jackpot and score myself a ShoeMoney shirt. 🙂

  2. […] reading (damn, another exciting Friday night), I saw a post over at ShoeMoney where he received a free t-shirt from Technorati and it gave me an […]

  3. I prefer the Wicked Fire logo. The Technorati one reminds me of late 90s skateboard designs.. ala Black Label skates.

  4. I wish technorati will send me a shirt like that too even just for remembrance. I love it.

  5. Oh yeah! That’s right, work it baby!

    Errr…

What I meant to say was nice shirt Shoe, lookin’ nifty.

  6. BTW, anyone actually using that WTF stuff? I used it like in the first day to test it out, and seemed a waste of time

  7. Some people hate the WTF thing and want them to change the name, but WTF is perfect! Oh, nice t-shirt, BTW. :p

  8. The only time I have clicked on WTF and actually seen something was on Shoemoney’s technorati page. Nice shirt.

  9. The shirt is awesome. Now you should ask for a second and auction it off for a good cause.

  10. Yeah.. if I had to choose between WTF, Wicked Fire and Black Label.. I’ll definitely pick Black Label.. they have some wicked hot shirts.

  11. Weeeee !

I been trying to get a SHOEMONEY HAT AND TEE from you for AGES !!

Here in oz we miss out on most conferences etc, so I never get a chance to ask in person.. and I’m a T whore too !!!

You’re just teasing me arent you !??

    Damn, Damn, Damn !!! 🙂

  12. I’m sure the WTF thing is wonderful, but all I get right now is:

‘Where’s the fire? Somewhere in our service, evidently. Watch for smoke and try back again later.’

WTF ??.. (Shoe your blog is too popular) 😉

  13. Well, they are getting better all the time. Nobody does it perfect in the first shot.

  14. It is pretty dumb, but sometimes that’s what it takes to get a cool acronym like WTF.

  15. actually that tshirt marketing deal is not a bad one. Considering that people usually post on their blogs when they get those tshirts (with a backlink) and considering that you can probably outsource the tshirts for a couple of dollars each, its better than Text Link Ads 🙂

  16. Yup.. its a good tactic but I think this time Technorati just meant it as a nice gesture.. Technorati hardly needs a link back or more exposure lol

  17. i throw all logo and other goofy design printed tee’s in the trash where they belong.

  18. Excellent idea. You could one up it again by having the affiliates link to that auction specifically w/ their auctionads and have some incentive for the one that generates the lead to the winning bid! Muuahahahah!

  19. i’m also a t-shirt junkie. Can you sell me your shoemoney t-shirt?i like to have it.

  20. I’m also a huge T-shirt fan, mostly weather and storms T’s, but I’d love one of those Shoemoney T’s. 🙂

  21. I reckon he should get a Tee & Hat, sign them with a scrawl, (in fact, get a few big names to sig them), then put them to auction on ebay.

He could donate the proceeds to charity, and someone would wind up with a couple of groovy keepsakes..

What do you think Shoe ?

  22. A perfect way to market yourself send your T-shirt to famous blogger and it will create hype. I think they send you for advertisment purpose? correct me if i am wrong.

  23. Shoe,
Really you have to do something with your appearance man..Its nice to get checks from Google. But you need not grow that gobble gobble under your neck any further..Since google started useing the Quality Score Seriously ya startin to look like some scary cartoon turkey guy lol ..and Who dresses you? Stevie Wonder..you need a makeover..dude you report some kewl industry stuff but you look like ole Tom Turky…lol

  24. Looks cool on you…..

    but

    Terrific on me….

So send it to me…. but i love shoemoney brand… so send it to me rather than this one….

  25. Its an OK way to get some traffic to your blog.. but I think forums are actually more easy to use and fun..

  26. I have a totally unrelated question about the $500,000 Azoogle check. It says that it was photographed but it doesnt look like it — in the car reflection you can not see the check, only the blue shirt with the empty hands. Some Photoshop work?

  27. I gotta ask, what self respecting man isn’t a t-shirt whore these days? I was a fridge whore when my Google fridge came last year; man has that gotten some quality use…

  28. Glad you got sent a shirt, looks cool. Technoratis marketing still sucked though since most people watching TV during the times their ads were on probably have no idea what Technorati is anyway.

  29. Agreed, the Wicked Fire works so well because of the nature of its members 🙂

  30. I visited Technorati and did a search for Shoemoney and noticed no WTF!…so I added one :-). I didn’t want you to have WTF shirt but not WTF listing.

  31. Nice t-shirt. It would be better if it said “where’s the fire” on the front though.

  32. that’s awesome, i still don’t get it, do I get a t-shirt now? I’m not a fan of theirs in general because my blog’s ranking there sucks while i’ve been linked by the LA Times and NY Times and have a page rank 5 yet am in the bowels of hell in Technorati land. Bitter? a little bit 😉 I also know none of my posts will make the WTF area 🙁

  33. At first I thought the whole Technorati T-shirt thing was lame, but I’m coming around since it’s laundry day….

  34. […] As many of you know, I am a self-proclaimed t-shirt whore and love to get free shirts – yes, I have stolen this idea from the master t-shirt whore. […]

  35. Thanks for the article. I will be visiting your blog soon! Thanks again!
