Very cool stuff. Getting back and going through emails I see there are a lot of companies that are welcoming a tour of our group! Not only does Paypal, Ameritrade, Omaha Steaks and several other big named Omaha/Lincoln based companies want us to come tour there facilities and talk to them about there e-commerce experience they emailed me about special events (launching new products, grand openings of new buildings, showcasing there products) to our members.

Also a lot of people outside of the area have emailed me to see if they can fly in and come. Sure. The only criteria is you must be a member of the group and be the first to RSVP. Also I dont think people would mind out of towners (the ones that have wanted to fly in to some of these events are pretty well known industry folks).

Also all events will be free. If there are any costs my company will pick up the tab for these tours or events. Should be fun!

Now I am hoping to have regularly scheduled meetings the last thursday of every month but these special event tours I am going to try to make work on weekends to accommodate those who still have to report to the man (we will work on that though ;)).

Anyway I have a feeling the first one of these tours will be announced in the next week or so, so make sure you are signed up to get the invite:

  1. Cool. I’m looking forward to it, Jeremy. When we meet up for lunch, you could decide if we’d be of interest for a tour as well.

  2. Ha! I thought I had rsvp when you first posted about this…I didn’t, I thought all I had to do was click the rsvp button but after going back I noticed I wasn’t on the list.
