Overnight Prints, one of the largest and most well respected business card and merchandising companies on the internet, is having a contest!
And knowing how much we love contests, they approached us to see what we could do together.
Since I’m not that thrilled with my current business card design and knew this was their specialty, I thought we could kill two birds with one stone!
How does the contest work? Simply design a new business card for me. If I pick your design as the winner, you will win a LIFETIME supply of free business cards!
Contest Rules:

Can we get a peek at what you current business cards look like?
Seems to be a pretty good deal. I should say this knack of your to spring out a profitable idea out of nowhere is what has helped you be where you are today. With constant interactions with you through your blog, I hope to build such knack in myself as well.
I would be designing a card for you.
Missed out on the last part of my comment. Actually I hit the enter button and the zoooooooooom went the comment.
What I meant to say that I too would be designing a card for you, but unfortunately since I cannot participate in the contest, I will have to keep it with me itself, just as a memento that I too participated.

What a great deal! People underestimate the power of a well-designed business card. You definitely want something unique…I may just put on my design hat on and enter the contest!
“Is that a Shoemoney business card in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?”
Free cards for life is outstanding. Very nice contest.
Very awesome deal. You should set up a gallery of the cards that are sent in and let the readers vote. It’d be a lot of fun.
Cool deal for you and the winner. I am sure you will get some Awesome entries.
Damn, they always forget Asia :@
Shoe it really good contest but what we did {Indians} we don’t have any chance ????
That are a lot of business cards to win! Damn, 20 years! Cool contest
Unlucky me. Not eligible for the contest.
Cool, does the free life time supply also include changes / updates? Doubt I will need business cards when I’m in my 80’s, may be a cool line to pick up the chicks! hehe.
Indians not allowed is it? If its because of the shipping, I can give an address in the USA
Sorry for me… I’m not good in designing. Good luck all you guys who joined this contest!

A lifetime of business cards is a real money saver. Wish I could design I would be on this contest. Nice contest you got going Shoe.
Why bother? visit a printing web site and design you own business cards using its on line tools and be happy. I’ll never use business cards which were designed by somebody else. It’s such an individual thing. Try DCP-PRINT.COM. I recommend it for being a very friendly user site. .
what? dude, put your logo in the middle (65×65), make it an all white card on heavy stock; raised letters and your website. that’s it, end of contest. the card is only an extension of the success of shoemoney…

I’d definitely be up for a bit of this. Business cards have proved good at driving traffic to my blogs in the past.
Great contest, I wish I could design… But I can’t… So, good luck to all the participants!
I’ll be designing something.
I just hope Mr Shoemaker realizes that any submission may need to be tweaked before being produced as cards.
For example, I’d prefer to get a high-res version of the logo in my design. Unfortunately, unless I’m missing something, the logo will be lo-res.
Hi Reverend Dave,
I imported the logo they provided (the .eps) file into Photoshop to edit it. If you have adobe photoshop – you can import it as a Smart Object (and resize it upon importing it) and you can resize it with no loss of quality or resolution. Hope it helps.
I’d love to know what your current card looks like, and what your expecting from the new one. This is a neat contest though. I’ll be sure to design for you, if we can get a few more details. You rock, Thanks
I just submitted my design – hope you like it Jeremy. The contest is a great idea!
Great contest! We wrote about this on the blog and hopefully we’ll get a lot more people interested! Can’t wait to see the winning design!

What a joke you are, not only do you have to lie to WS, you also have to lie to us in order to make your story more believable. ,
Hi, I recently started a bloghosting platform (based on wordpress MU) and when I stumbled your blog I paid attention to your theme (looking good) so I was wondering can you tell me is it custom made theme or one of those free ones? thanks in advance! regards, blogiskewl
Its amazing to me how many ways you can go about investing your money. I’ve found for me that best solution is both risky and low risk stocks. I tend to put about 1/2 my investments into low risk mutual funds that grow over time and the other half in high risk high gain stocks. I recently got into day trading and I found that software stock picks are more reliable as they can automate a process that I cant do quickly enough. The fellows over at stockmarketsoftwareblog.com have an incredible system. You should check them out!

Good design could be good for some, but to some others, it’s rubbish. Trust us, we now have experienced our share of differing beliefs on our own design work…
