My wife had this cake made special for Dillsmack’s Brithday:

It was a perfect mirror image of the new Macbook Pro including the status lights!

And even taste as good as it looks:

Go over and wish David a happy birthday!

    1. It’s all a trick. He’s keeping the Mac Book for himself and mailing out Mac Book cakes to the winners!

        1. Hahah, i can imagine the frustrations of the helpdesk person trying to walk the customer through rebooting their Mac laptop..

      1. hahaha, no, shoe would never do that to us… I think… Would you shoe??? Well it was a sweet looking cake either way. I like the “light” effects. Tell your wife she cooks a good looking cake.

    2. That has definitely got to be the coolest cake I’ve ever seen! It fits perfectly with your two apple giveaways.

  1. And all of a sudden I’m hungry….Thanks Jeremy…lol
That is a pretty wicked cake though…..

  2. Wow-I love it. My husband will love this too-He is a huge Mac fan (former PC slave).

Your are lucky to be married to a wife with such a great sense of humor.

    1. Shoemoney is also lucky to be married to a wife who acts on her creativity and humor. I am also amazed as I am sure her career as an anesthesiologist keeps her time precious.

  3. I can’t afford a Cakebook Pro. I’ll just stick with OSX (and the Kalymayo) hack running on my Breadcrust Core 2 Duo.

    1. Cakebook Pro, love the name! How fun Jeremy, and fun to see how you take care of those you work with, a great example!

  4. That’s so cool, I love when people get creative like that.

About 15 years ago when I was tech manager for a networking company (and had just started there) my birthday rolled around, and the wife of one of the salespeople made me a motherboard cake. It was a sheet cake with green icing, there was a Chunky for the CPU, Hershey’s miniatures for the chips, Kit Kat sections for the slots, and I think she used wafer cookies with pieces of licorice stuck to them for the memory simms. It was amazing! I didn’t even want to cut into it. Unfortunately, nobody had a camera.

  5. aaaaaaaaaaaalll i just thought about it. Your a scorpio! Our sign are veeery compatible. I’m a pisces. hi five to all of the water signs. Happy birthday!

      Good Marketing!

    2. Yeah Thai Girl, your profile pic looks hot, so are the women featured on your website. Delicious!

  8. Wow Shoe, that could easily make to to front page of digg. Tell your wife she’s an awesome baker.

  9. Is there an affiliate program for these cakes? Tigh can have an extra piece for me. 🙂

  10. This is just an outstanding creativity. Love the design though! but where is our share…..

  11. I would eat it, but since I have not owned a Mac I am not in love with out.

    Maybe I am missing out.

  12. Oddly enough, Mac cakes are incompatible with my current digestive system. Perhaps I should make the switch.

  13. Cool cake I have seen some photos of crazy cakes made into Ipods and other things Mac too. Shoemoney has to have everything Mac now even his food is Mac.

  14. Jeremy, A great idea for David’s Birthday! “I’m a PC, but love the MAC!”

  15. … that isn’t by any chance what you received in that MacBook MacBook Box other day…. Apple must be really affected by the current financial crisis…. 😛

  16. That looks REALLY good! Especially when you’re in college, you really learn how to drool like mad when you see food.

  17. I’m glad this isn’t your normal theme. It is scary! I can’t even read some of the comments because the background for them is white.

  18. Kewl theme and kewl cake. Just think, with all the comments, you could SERP 1 for those desirous keywords “MacBook Pro Cake”

  19. I must say… love the theme! Festive and frightening 🙂 Hoping for another Halloween theme’d post tomorrow. Shoemoney Halloween costume, perhaps?

  20. Not exactly the right place to post this…but what happened to the ShoeMoney Halloween wp theme? It was there and then it was gone!
    I was digging it!

  36. The small holes in the side make the macbook really look alive. The same could have been made better with proper lighting in the room for the photograph.

  37. That’s so awesome! I’ve always wanted to lick a mac book because they’re so sexy, but this one I want to eat.
