11:11am Dec 21st 2012 is like our daily clock going from 11:59pm to 12:00am, just on a perfect calendar with each equinox in perfect alignment.

There have been about 514 leap years since caesar created it in 45BC. Without the extra day every 4 years today would be October 1, 2013 Also, the Mayan calendar did not account for leap year, so technically the world should have ended 13 months ago.

From what I remember the Mayans didnt actually predict the end of the world. But if we are guessing dates that are popular theories it would be 12/21/2012 11:12am. Winter solstice!

Wow this blog just keeps getting worse.

grinning….grinning wider. so the world is ending according to the Myan calander. yes, everyone says 12/21/2012. 11:11 UTC….okay…could happen…but I predict that no one on earth can really predict the end…only God knows….and so far, He aint tellin’….lol
In about billion years the sun will become too hot for us.
But I hope we will get away sooner, so Earth’s end won’t be our world’s end.
I guess the Shoemaster won’t be around then. Perhaps he’s going to set a foundation (like Mr. Nobel)?
