Stats from my annoying blog squeeze newsletter popover

by Jeremy Schoemaker on January 11, 2012

For the last couple months,  as many of you have seen… and given me crap about…  we have been testing popovers on shoemoney.com.

I asked the wizards in the space,  Conversion Voodoo if they would be interested in working their magic split testing various copy and styles of the newsletter pop up.

It seems like every day we get questions about best practices and conversion tips so I thought this would be a great case study to post.

I also asked them to post the results once we had a ton of data on the opt in rate of each type of popover.

Well they just posted the results after getting over half a million popups and I think you will find the results pretty eye opening.

I really want to thank Conversion Voodoo for doing this.

They are the goto guys for some very high end fortune 500 clients helping them improve their conversion so for them to take time out to do this for me and my readers is really awesome.
