I love sites like these — I use a similar one called Freecycle (not sure if it’s just UK based though). I’ve lost track of the amount of great stuff I’ve managed to score from that site.

This is a great idea wish there was this service in the UK as I could do with getting rid of some of my stuff from my cluttered garage! Donating is more worthwhile thn me chucking it away.

That’s quite an interesting site, thanks for sharing. I am not sure if there can be a viable business model around this. I know a few efforts to make people exchange things – just like the barter system of the good ol’ days but I doubt it will work in the current economic system. Nice site in any case
