Getting 1st page for highly searched keywords sounds a little over-promising… Well… I might still give it a try… Just in case.
It could give a good push for my recently launched blog…

I’m a bit sceptical about that too. But I’ve always believed in the usefulness of keywords. All in all I think this is an offer worth checking out.

Is it easy to install? I tried to install a wp plug-in a while back and had some problems with it.

It used to take ages for me to come up with a list of keywords that are low competition. When I used this plugin, I was able to spend more time on writing posts than the keyword research itself.

Looks like a great plugin. I am reading a lot of good reviews about this lately. Should be interesting what 2.0 has to offer.

It’s a shame the guy doing the video commentary on that site is so bleeding boring. He makes me want to jump off a bridge, not target low comp keywords & make $$. Get someone with some excitement who can read copy & people will get fired up about this product. Just my 2 cnts.

Reply

20 James February 19, 2011 at 11:34 pm

Daniel is a wonderful man filled with amazing vision and talent. His voice is beside the point; it is the product itself that we want. And, Keyword Winner has truly pushed my website WAY UP on Google; this plugin is worth every dime and more. I highly recommend it to anyone who uses Wordpress. I love it and can’t wait for 2.0.

Reply

21 Bowie February 20, 2011 at 5:05 pm

I agree! A little more excitement wouldn’t hurt. The video’s 11 minutes+ long. The least he could do is infuse a little bit of excitement to what appears like a great product anyway.

I read an article last year that says more than 70% of search engine users report visiting organic search daily. If I recall correctly, the study was conducted by Forester Research. Considering that it’s a cheaper way to promote an online business or product, it’s definitely worth the time and effort. Improving your site’s rankings is important IMHO.

Reply

41 Gabby Dell from SC February 20, 2011 at 5:52 pm

Good point. But I don’t think it’s wise to rely on natural search alone since it generates low to moderate traffic only especially if your site’s not that up high on the rankings. It’s still best to explore paid search alongside it even if it’s more costly. At least you’ll be looking at a higher traffic stats.

Reply

42 Jason S. February 20, 2011 at 6:53 pm

Sounds like a better approach. Will keep that in mind when I launch the online business I’m currently working on.

Reply

43 Alan Alan February 20, 2011 at 6:43 pm

This is good if you don’t have the budget yet to run PPC ads. But it takes a while to see the results you want. It’s best to try other means to drive traffic as well.

Reply

44 georgeblanco February 21, 2011 at 5:32 pm

I invest both on PPC and SEO. The former yields moderate to high traffic for a short period of time to my website while I noticed that the latter has a more long term impact. If you’re in a hurry to drive traffic then it’s best to invest on PPC.

“75% of search engine users report that they trust organic search results over paid search results.” – It’s said that statistics don’t lie. Not sure if that’s true but 75% is a substantial number. If the right keyword can help your site get at the top of search results then it’s worth investing on.

Reply

56 ExclaimedIdeas February 20, 2011 at 8:12 pm

Well, this could mean I won’t have to look for a talented organic search engine optimization expert to help me increase my site’s rankings.

Reply

57 moolahmachine February 20, 2011 at 11:05 pm

Just make sure that you don’t focus on one track alone. I agree that optimizing highly searched keywords can help improve rankings but it’s not the sole solution to getting more traffic.

Reply

58 ILoveMemes February 20, 2011 at 7:26 pm

Keyword(s)/keyword phrases for paid search is too pricey, which is why I don’t often get the best ones. But I have to admit it’s a quicker way to drive traffic. Hope this tool can help me.
