ShoeMoney Sponsored fighter Dan “The DJ” Gardner (3-1) was a huge under dog against veteran fighter James Birdsley (40-9) last Friday night in at the Showdown in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dan is normally a 155 pound fighter but moved up to welterweight after the 170lb Birdsley called him out.
I was happy to watch Dan put the wood to this bully.
Here is the entire fight. Make sure you watch the 2 minute mark where “The DJ” Brutally slams Birdsley.
But most importantly don’t miss the end where he gives a shout out to his sponsor ShoeMoney!!!!
Dan improves to 4-1 now and is quickly moving up the ranks.

Congrats on the win…my friend won his UFC debut that night as well.
Nice one! So, when’s the next fight?
That was a very good fight to watch. I don’t watch UFC that much anymore because of my changing work hours so this video was my sports night for tonight. lol
Dan looks good and once he puts more time in, hopefully there will be a title shot for home down the road in a year or two.
This is pretty sweer! Good Job Dan
Damn! That was two harsh slam! NICE! I like it lols
Why was the other fighter arguing with the referee before the winner was announced?
I think it’s great that you’re supporting an MMA fighter like him. He did an awesome job at that fight.
He’s good! I wish I could fight like that too.
I think MMA’s one of the mentally and physically tough training anyone can do in any sport.
It is. I’ve trained for a few months last year and I swear it was even tougher than I expected. It takes a certain mental and physical toughness to get through all those training the trainer or coach will give you. But it’s definitely worth the time and effort.
Imagine defeating a more experienced fighter just like that. Congratulations, Dan!
It seems his opponent is not that happy with the referee’s call. But I think The DJ won fair and square.
I’ve always wanted to train in MMA. It would be great to learn how to fight like those two.
I’m a huge fan of MMA fights though I haven’t done any martial arts training myself. Training must be really tough.
