Just sharing my experienced with the Shoe Money System, is just amazing how shoe money give me the whole pictures step by step. Finally something that help me to do what I feel passionate about it. Pedro, from Puerto Rico.
Is it like a course or something?
yes is a course step by step in videos, exactly what I was looking for.I try other thing but other thing give you so much info without guides and this one is different because it take you by the hand. see you at the top.
Yes this is a course on facebook fan page building and marketing.
I’ve been mulling about setting up a fan page at Facebook for my business so this listing couldn’t have come at a better time. Will check out the Fanreach offer. Thanks, man!
It’s been a great help to my business. I’ve seen not just an increase in traffic but some conversions as well. Looking forward to getting more number of “likes” to my business’ page.
Almost all websites I see now have a Facebook fan page. If you’re serious about promoting your business I’d say you’ll have to explore a fan page. No other platform can you find such an opportunity to expand your reach.
great. it will be good to have you and be sure to check out our very active group page on facebook (for members only)..
I saw some of the logos in their portfolio. Good to know that I could get a custom logo for the online business I’m planning to set up without spending much.
It says in their site that they can redo logos as well. I won’t have to spend more on having my current website’s logo fixed.
I’m more interested with the template design package. Will look into it further later. Thanks for sharing these links, Jeremy!
The Facebook fan page I’ve set up has helped generate more traffic for my site. But after the initial surge, it seemed to have lost the momentum. I was wondering how I could continue to drive more traffic from it and perhaps monetize it as well. I hope this offer you featured here could help me with that.
I think that constant updates and engaging your page’s “fans” is important. You can easily get the numbers you want with the help of services like web.fanreach.net offers. But you need to work on community engagement as well IMHO.
I agree! But first you have to have the numbers. You can work at both at the same time.
I’m still working on developing content for my site. I’ll probably create a Facebook fan page but not for now.
Yes, our course will help you keep your fans fully engaged for the long haul. Infact we have a section for that with tons of video’s and examples (in the 201 part of the course). Check it out today, its only $1 for the first 3 days to try.
The regular marketplace listings here is one of the reasons I follow this blog. I’ve stumbled upon a lot of useful and affordable (and a lot of times, FREE) resources said I started following. Keep them coming, ShoeMoney!
From zero to over 2K fans in less than a week? Count me in!
I don’t know. I think I’ll pass up on this one.
I’m absolutely checking this out. Besides being totally free of charge, a fan page is recognized by Google as a legitimate website that links back to your website. This means that anyone could come across your fan page in a search engine query and any subsequent traffic will ultimately increase ranking of both your homepage and your Facebook fan page.
We are still waiting on you Medomoc, don’t be shy
How huge a help is a fan page to my business? I run a small business so I manage almost everything by myself. I’m not sure if I have the time nor the resources to maintain a Facebook fan page on top of the other things I need to do for the website I’ve recently launched.
There are lots of ways to maintain a fan page while establishing your brand. Hiring a virtual assistant is one solution though.
I have two Facebook fan page arguments which you will find really convincing. First, fans can post negative comments about your company, which can be seen by all the other fans and could be potentially damaging. It is important to address negative comments or complaints as quickly as possible. Second, content must be regularly updated in order to keep your fans’ interest. This is an ongoing job, which requires time and investment.
So true. You need a lot of time to manage one.
A fan page can be a huge help to your long term goals in bringing you in fresh business and maintaining a good Standford with your current clients. Also, did you know that once you have fans on your fan page that you can market directly to “there friends” and your ad will say at the bottom of the ad that person “x” is a fan of your page, giving it a instant trust factor.
Nice list! I like that I see more of these listings on your blog every week.
You should have been here when there were 10 or more items on the list.
The custom logo packages are simply awesome! There’s even one that I can get for less than $30. How cool is that?
2000 fans in a week starting from zilch is a great feat. congrats.
Fine logos for the price of a lobster dinner at Abe’s? I’m definitely checking this out.
I believe they also did the one for Love. Lust. Play. Amazing, isn’t it?

Wherever you can get your name and information on the web, you should. Search engines aren’t biased. If they find fresh, relevant information on your Facebook page, it will appear right up there with the stuff from your website. More reason for me to go for that 2nd item on the List!
Re-tweeting in 3 — 2 — 1!
What happened to the rest of the entries, Shoe? I used to see 5 or more items weekly.
Whatever happened to the thousand backlinks for 60 bucks?
Why don’t you post Link Control in the Markeplace list, buddy? I am sure a lot of people will appreciate it.
Nice links. I think there isn’t really that much upkeep when it comes to having a page. You update it when you feel like it — that’s part of the appeal of Facebook. You can put in a lot of time or very little. That’s why it’s such a great tool!
Is the primary entry an invitation to a webinar?
I think we’re in for an online instructional ahead with the first item on the list. This is just like the good old days, Jeremy!
Ever imagined what it would be like if Elite Retreat goes online/
One word: awesome.
Great updates, Jeremy. In my experience maintaining both a personal profile and a fan page, there is one key limitation to fan pages that make them somewhat more difficult to maintain than a profile:
As owner/admin of the fan page, you do not get notifications (neither emails nor pop-up notifications in the lower-right corner of the FB window) when someone posts a comment or replies to a post on your fan page.
So, to keep a high level of engagement with your fans, you have to visit the page daily and scroll through all your posts to see if there are any new comments. Not that this is hard work, per se, but it’s an extra step to keep in mind.
A definite downside since it would take a lot of time to monitor comments and properly address whatever negative feedbacks are posted there.
Got any updates on the upcoming Humongo tour?
Jeremy, we really hope Rebecca or Lisa can pitch in with a guest post in the next few days. A video post is surely welcome, too. Kudos for the list. Best wishes from Tempe.
The entry about Facebook fan pages is definitely a winner. With this massive potential audience, you have the opportunity to spread viral media quickly and effectively. If you post something that catches the attention of your fans, they may post that on their own profiles, to their own friends, therefore reaching a whole new audience, who in turn could become fans.
What happened to Rebecca Kelly, Shoe?
Setting up a fan page alone is not going to draw a million fans. The fan page must be promoted properly, for example the URL added to company stationary or emails sent to customers announcing it’s launch.
Where’s the LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT’S TRUE button when you need one?
We cover that and MUCH MORE in this course.
Facebook fan pages are just too time-consuming to maintain. Easy to get up and running but maintenance is just another story. True, Facebook is free but your time is not. If you’re going to do it right, someone within your organization has to commit to the proper amount of maintenance and updates. If you can’t spare the time, you might have to spare the cost for a consultant.
However, looking at it in another perspective gets you this: You can contact all your fans in an instant. Any message, like notice of a new product launch or advertising campaign, can be posted on the fan page and instantly seen by all your fans at once, in the same way, but perhaps more efficiently, than an email marketing campaign.
Nice insight though. Nonetheless, this just proves that there are still many more people out there who are not savvy about Facebook and other social networks!
Certainly no final verdict can still be verified here.
I’m still undecided about setting up one for my small business. I figured it would be too much work on top of the other things I need to do to promote product offerings.
Watch the video on the front page before you decide to throw in the towel on facebook pages.
Somehow I feel that Facebook is in its infancy, even with the tremendous growth and usage already experienced. Anyone serious about being relevant in the next 10 years should seriously consider getting involved with Facebook on a higher level now or you will be left out in the cold down the road.
I believe the most important component of an online campaign is to have a web presence — whether that is Facebook, Twitter, a website or a blog — so that something comes up when people Google you. What do you think, Shoe?
Got logo ideas for a new online bookshop?
Book carrying a laptop? Enough said. Time for a beer.
Before building a fan page, you have to accept that others will be able to comment and share their thoughts (or moments of displeasure) about your business. Make sure you can provide quality customer service and open lines of communication. An open forum is not always a good thing if you ask me.
A friend and I started a small business. We paid almost $500 for web design and graphics that included logo, template, etc. We could have saved more if we knew about this custom logo deal you have here. I’ll just have to bookmark this for now.
Didn’t know you can “buy” fans for you Facebook page…
I’m not sure if I’m ready for the added responsibility and workload of maintaining a fan page. I’d like to explore other ways to generate traffic first.
The only downside to Facebook marketing? The social network itself is not as versatile as search engines. Search engine marketing delivers more timely results because it attracts users who are actively typing in keywords and phrases that are related to your products.
Conversations are tougher to manage between fans in fan pages and they are on display for the public to see. Facebook is doubtlessly a tremendous social network which has been able to surpass every other online network but even fan pages should have at least a dollop of privacy.
Although fan pages are the rage these days, I’m still all for Facebook groups. Unlike pages, groups allow to send out bulk invites and you can easily invite all your friends to join the group while with pages you will be forced to drop some invites manually. Groups are thus better for viral marketing, meaning that any group member can also send bulk invites to the friends of his.
I totally agree with this one. FB groups only need one button to send a message to all members rather than individually clicking a profile in fan pages.
For me, the only pro argument for buying Facebook fans is the “social proof” aspect. If people notice that your business already has thousands of fans, they are more likely to click the “Like” button. The social proof aspect may help. But no one actually measured the improvement. You don’t get real statistical data so it’s hard to make a rational decision.
Given that fan pages are free to set up and very simple to maintain, there is no reason not to use them and the potential benefits are huge. Well, if you have the bucks, any digital advertising agency could manage it’s client’s social media presence as a vital part of it’s online advertising campaign.
Facebook group pages are easy to create and slightly more personal than its fan counterpart. Because it is not a constantly fed profile-like page, posts do not need to be attended to as often.
While maintaining a Twitter account, blog, and personal Facebook page are well within the norm of 21st century book publicity, the idea of setting up my own fan page on Facebook seems entirely immodest. Any others got the same perspective as me on this one?
Looks like you’re tooting your own horn, eh? LOL
Facebook fan pages sure sound great up front but make sure you and your employees are ready to properly manage a fan page.
Why go for a Facebook fan page?
In the era of social media where Facebook and Twitter took over almost every marketing mechanism over the internet, people are now spending more time over these social media platforms and your presence on these social platforms will give you some major benefits like:
1. Promote your business/product amongst 10+ million user base
2. Connect directly with your fans
3. Drive traffic and profitability
4. Impress your clients/customers with videos, photos, links and more.
5. FREE
Like!
Until you have an adequate number of fans, you’ll be posting a lot when you opt for an FB fan page. Moreover, a dismal fan page linked to your site can hurt your inbound links in SEO. Ouch!
Facebook groups pre-date fan pages and are more familiar to early and more established users of the social media network.
More established means they have adapted a bit more than other users and can promise more benefits. What’s your two cents’ worth on this?
The verdict for me? Consider a fan page if you want to keep your “fans” up to date on the goings on of your site. Consider a group if you have a niche within your site that people might want to create conversations about. I think one of the things we are seeing now in social media marketing is sites like Facebook realizing the value that a fan or group page can have and adding in the necessary bells and whistles to support it.
Buying Facebook fans is no different from someone giving you their email address without the option to spam them. If someone likes your page because they have to do it, they won’t become a real fan. They are not motivated to stick around and create buzz for your business.
What’s with all the fan pages and buying fans? Is this is classic Motley Crue concert?
If your budget won’t allow for advertising, you can create fan pages or groups on Facebook to help you network with other members and promote your products. If you understand how it works and you do it effectively, even the free tools offered on Facebook can yield amazing results.
Shoe, don’t you have more items up your sleeve?
I used to see 10 or more entries last year but what just happened here exactly?
Fan pages rock! They offer options to add applications such as a Twitter feed and include a “wall” similar to individual profiles that people can post comments on. Plus, they can be paired with a Facebook Fan Page Widget on your site!
You should definitely check out the advertising and marketing opportunities on Facebook if you are looking for ways to get ahead of your competitors. Right, Shoe?
Hats off to you, Jeremy! You still are the List king, buddy!
(By the way, what happened to the other regular entries?)
It seems users of Facebook are addicted to joining groups that represent what they are interested in, or possibly becoming a fan or a certain page. So in turn you should take advantage of this fact by creating a fan page or a group and urge your customers and visitors to join.
I noticed there weren’t that much negative comments about Facebook fan pages. Conspiracy?
This is perhaps the most “mysterious” comment in this thread…
All in all, a superb list we can all get great ideas from!
When is the next video post? Best wishes from Portland.
Definitely another winning List!
Nice list, now i think i need new logo .
