Whatever happened to the cool logos for just under $50 a pop? Are they still around? Hope to receive a response soon, Shoe. :D

“Metaboliq resist is a novel taste bud killer that temporarily interrupts our sense of sweet and can help us control our cravings.” So what happens to my taste buds if I use it regularly?

From a customer’s point of view, I consider the “systems” Metaboliq offers a little weak on being unique. Also, the instructions and directions are not all that clear on their packaging or website. It’s only after you buy the book from Dr. Layman that you get the straight goods on how to implement the system. I don’t feel you should have to pay for that.

LOL Good question! But that certainly sounds like the perfect solution for controlling my constant cravings for sweets.

Marnie,

The system is designed to be a 90 day program – with dramatic results. At that point it’s likely that you’ll move to more of a maintenance program, rather than continuing to use the full system.

There are years of research behind the Metaboliq system, and clinical trials. It’s safe and fast. :)

They 4squared, tweeted, photographed, filmed, blogged and even braved horrible weather around the USA as they stop to meet brands they admired, surprise visited creative people, marketing wizards and ad agencies. Excited to know the details for this year’s tour, too!

Here’s a better description: Humongo Nation is a rolling celebration of creativity and a demonstration of social media in action. It’s a Humongo Ford Flex driving through the country meeting creative, marketing, brand and internet workers, and celebrating their innovations. Like the best reality show, but way better.

I feel that these are the best tasting healthy shakes around although my girlfriend thought they were just a tad too sweet. What do you think, Shoe?

Reply

18 nealcal January 23, 2011 at 6:40 pm

Why depend on mainstream shakes when you can get your hands on organic fruits and vegetables that you can prepare yourself into juices and treats and know what’s exactly in them?

19 socialanim00 January 23, 2011 at 7:34 pm

Not everyone are able to manage their weight on their own. I think that options like these provide those who are having a hard time an opportunity to look for alternative ways to lose weight.

Personally, I’d rather shed off excess pounds the natural way than relying on commercial shakes and nutritional supplements. There are literally thousands of companies in the network marketing industry that offer vitamins, juices and potions that can help us lose weight. So what makes Qivana so different from all the others?

With all the sudden weight consciousness happening around the country these days, every product that comes out in the market that is labeled as a weight loss expediting merchandise is considered a temporary hype. Sad but true…

Me too. But we’re all wired differently. Some people may actually find this very useful in their weight management efforts. Honestly, if I could afford it then I’d be willing to give it a try.

@NicMoon – here’s what makes Qivana’s Metaboliq different – Dr. Layman is world renowned in the fat and weight loss field –

“The METABOLIQ System is the result of award-winning research at the University of Illinois by Dr. Donald Layman, a metabolic expert specializing in weight loss research. The METABOLIQ System and products were formulated using decades of cutting-edge research demonstrating unique insight and superior understanding of the relationship between muscle metabolism and body composition. Qivana has partnered directly with Dr. Layman and used his expertise and the results of his breakthrough findings to build a simple 90-day system where you can achieve reliable, dramatic results. Qivana’s METABOLIQ System contains superior formulas, unique products, high-quality ingredients, and a comprehensive lifestyle program that are backed with millions of dollars of published research and human clinical trials.”

And

“I am proud to finally create the only complete nutritionally-balanced program proven to offer a healthier lifestyle and long-term weight control for everybody at every age. The METABOLIQ System is based on my revolutionary research and clinical discoveries.”

This isn’t a copy of the hundreds (if not thousands) of fat and weight loss products out there. It is unique, clinically proven, and based in research by one of the world’s best. That’s why people are realizing incredible results from the Metaboliq system!

From what I read, the idea is to increase proteins and minerals with a balanced meal replacement shake. So instead of eating your regular diet, you go for the shake and let it do its work.

I’m seriously considering trying this one out. I haven’t tried any weight loss management system or products before since I prefer to manage my weight on my own. But 5 months onto my fitness routines and I’m not shedding off the pounds as quickly as I expected.

35 WhoSaysWhat01 January 23, 2011 at 7:48 pm

I find that a holistic approach works best. You may be exercising a lot but failing on your diet.

36 Laney Pitt January 23, 2011 at 7:42 pm

The concept of a protein rich calorie reduced diet has been proven to be effective at weight loss. My sister used their product and for over the 3 months she used the system we’ve seen the results. And we didn’t even noticed her spending the same amount of time she did in her previous attempts to lose weight.

37 enajyram00 January 23, 2011 at 8:09 pm

So the shake basically serves as a meal replacement? Won’t I feel hungry if I just drink a shake instead of a full meal?

Reply

38 Husher50 January 23, 2011 at 8:15 pm

I’m open to anything that can help manage weight but I think that exercise should be a part of any diet. At the end of the day, you don’t want to depend on weight loss products for the rest of your life, right?

How many pounds can I lose in a week if I use this product?

I’m currently using a protein shake that works the same way as the shake mentioned on the Qivana site. What makes theirs unique?

Reply

41 Kate Saunders March 21, 2011 at 9:37 am

Hey Ara600_m1, Dr. Layman is the world’s leading expert in weight loss and metabolism reserach. He designed this system in conjunction with Qivana and it’s based in years of research and clinicals. Very few other programs or systems carry the clinicals and studies that Metaboliq does.

The Metaboliq system really works. I’m using it right now, and I feel GREAT. It’s awesome.
