On Saturday I was in L.A. for the 2nd annual Epic Direct (formally AzoogleAds) top publisher Playboy Mansion Event.
I went last year and it was an unreal experience. I did all the first-timer stuff – took the tours and tons of photos of everything. It was really an amazing experience.
This year Epic Direct had their work cut out for them. How do they pull off the same experience for all the new publishers they brought in while still maintaining the great experience for those who went before?
But Michael Sprouse, CMO of Epic, pulled it off with flying colors.
This year all of the house girls were quite a step up from last year. Not that they were bad looking last year, but this year there were solid tens everywhere.
They also brought in some new entertainment. They had the reigning national champion pole dancer getting down (I don’t have a pic anywhere but am looking).
Also, they had this amazing Cirque Du Soleil-style show over the mansion pool. It was like a FULL BLOWN show. If you have ever seen a Cirque-style show, you know what I am talking about. It had tons of dancing and aerial gymnastics. It featured America’s Got Talent Ashley Dejon (a finalist in this year’s show).
I got a chance to talk with Ashley a bit. Really nice girl:

Ashley Dejon’s one of the most talented airdrop dancers I’ve seen. She and Michael Lipari are quite a nice looking pair. Too bad they’re not together. Did the group that performed at the party mostly girls? How come Michael’s not with her?

Body painting looks much simpler this year. Not any less good though.

probably a fortune. tickets to exclusive mansion parties are quite pricey.
I don’t know about the other details but the body paint creations are just priceless. Do you have an idea who the artist behind them is? All in all, a great party.

A photo of Hugh Hefner with the bunnies at the party would have been a nice touch. Looking at the pictures though, there’s no doubt at all in my mind that it must have been truly an unforgettable party.

It is. A great party. Prettier playmates (how’s that even possible?!?!). Most of the pictures though are like more of the same of last year’s.
Great party! Enjoyed the photos. They lived up to my mental image of a Playboy Mansion party.

It was unreal. Second time blew away the first one. Agreed on the girl quality. Some of my old faves from last year came back. Actually got be buddies with one of the playmates.
