haha! Those designs are fantastic. Such creativity and as terrible as the situation is, some of those logos are incredibly funny.
I feel sorry for BP. They had a great repute in the market and it all wasted and spilled. lol

Wow that’s a lot of logos so many good ones it was hard to pick a favorite one. I lmao on a few supper funny.
Some great designs, I wonder which one BP will choose !! Surprised they haven’t tried to close it down for breach of whatever, I don’t know, logo abuse or something. You know how much of a sense of humor these people have got (i.e. zilch).

I think Jeremy is pointing out you have to be creative and use any angle you can when it comes to marketing. You can’t just do the normal PPC and expect to grow these days.
It takes a lot of skill and knowledge to get a campaign to go viral.

I say the bird in the water. I live in the Florida keys and this was a big issue down here as a lot of people rely on fishing as well as my dad. They should put another pic there to rate”a fisherman cleaning oil”. So sad for Louisiana, there fisherman are now oil cleaners.

I could see Shoemoney readers really liking the the pissing BP man. There were a number of good ones. I guess keeping with the green and having the world slowly falling into a puddle of oil is pretty cool.

i read somewhere that bp had to set up a slush fund of 20 billion to help repay the fisherman that are out of work now

I can’t help but be furious when looking at this. I appreciate the humor, but am so disturbed by what is happening to our planet. It is my opinion that the BP executives should go to jail for the tremendous disaster they are responsible for.
I agree. Animals are people too! And birds are my favorite animal, I have some of my own. And they have feelings just like the rest of us. Killing them is not cool.

I’m pretty sure BP is busy enough. They didn’t need a logo contest to ruin their reputation. The millions of gallons of oil bursting into the Gulf is probably what ruined them, not to mention the thousands of deaths and thousands of people they put out of work. Their attorneys will be busy for years.
