Need your help ;)

by Jeremy Schoemaker on July 5, 2010 · 54 comments

In preparation for my Facebook discussion at Affiliate Summit I would like to get some more Facebook ads to show to people in the demo.

If you could please log into your Facebook account and goto.

http://www.facebook.com/ads/adboard/

and take a screen shot. If you are using Firefox and can take a screenshot of the entire page using Cresent page saver that would be even better. (once you install the plugin right click on the page and choose “save entire page as” )

Don’t worry about getting the perfect ads I just want a huge variety of ads to demo and explain why some work and some don’t.

Just email the screenshots as an attachment to jeremy@shoemoney.com

Thanks!

Hi Jeremy,

Just sent a screenshot of the entire page. I’ve used the Cresent Firefox add on.

As I’m in Uruguay my ads are in Spanish and one is related to the World Cup, bizarre of Google Chrome ;)

Best of the luck in the Facebook Affiliate discussion.

Cheers,

Gera

Shoe, I’d really love to attend the summit but distance is a very big issue for me. Is there a way you can transmit a real time video post for the event?

Check your mail for the best Facebook screen shot ever, Shoe. I just sent mine. ;)

Me too, but I don’t think that that will happen. I think the people putting on the summit don’t allow it. :(

I didn’t know there was a Firefox add-on like this one. Hooray for Crescent! BTW, just sent the screen shot you asked. :)

This is what makes attending each Affiliate Summit worth it! Shoe basically transforms the whole thing into an interactive activity to give us a hint of what he’ll be presenting and, of course, a bit of cooperative action to top it off.

These are really interesting things I would really like to hear about. I have been checking out all of the ads on my facebook, and wondering why I am drawn to some, but not others. I feel like it’s the colors and presentation. Some of them look really tacky and put together too fast. A lot of the fashion sites are like that. If you are selling clothes, at least make your ad look fashionable.
