Shirts My Way is a really cool site that lets you design your own dress shirt, you can pick the colors as well as the style  custom designing a shirt exactly how you want it. Plus you can enter your measurements for a perfect fit. (Which would have been nice for my shirt as it was a little too small) The shirt was really nice design your own at www.shirtsmyway.com!

I would’ve never known the shirt was too small if you hadn’t said anything – I thought you sportin’ it like that because you were wearing it your way! :)

Perfect for something more formal, like a job interview or a client call. I wonder if the clothes are easily alterable, just in case the ones nearest my size still need fine-tuning.

I always thought the world would self-destruct if we let regular men pick out and/or make their own clothes. Well… color me wrong.

Why do I need a custom shirt? There are like 5,000,000 stores selling shirts that are probably cheaper and just as nice as the ones on the site.

Such a weird company to be listing on Shoemoney. They are pretty established and seem like a large, established shop. They certainly have the traffic and the PR.

Shirt My Way has at least a billion (many avid customers say it clocks in at 7 trillion) shirt designs that promise to give the perfect fit. I’ve tried ordering a couple of shirts and I think they are just snazzy. Their interactive model is definitely an innovation all clothing stores should feature!

38 Tom Yoon May 30, 2010 at 8:00 pm

Their website was cool back then but after the complete overhaul? It is just plain awesome. The high-quality photos and effortless purchasing process sure make Shirts My Way a superb source of truly original and tasteful clothing.

39 Cristina Dy May 30, 2010 at 8:14 pm

Apart from giving their customers as much fabric options to decide on, their effort to produce an eco-friendlier packaging line also makes them a top store in my book!

The high-resolution photos and simplified buying process are definitely best practices all apparel shops should follow. Nice shirts, nice website, nice browsing!

http://www.gap.com/ is still the best online clothing shop ever! Crawfurd and Yang just copied off the “interactive” element. What a bunch of rip-offs!

Reply

42 moolahmachine May 30, 2010 at 8:19 pm

Peter Crawfurd and Michael Yang have absolutely taken the whole concept of dress shirts to a whole new higher level without ruining the experience of buying one online. They sure studied the clothing business before jumping in the fray. Now that is pure genius.

44 AnnieP78 May 30, 2010 at 8:22 pm

If they start a blog as interactive as their online shop then Shirts My Way will join the ranks of the most top-rated websites of all time. Better do some reconstruction of your own, Shoe, before they get you off the list.

Reply

45 WhoisDoyle May 30, 2010 at 8:43 pm

A little too small for you, Shoe? Perhaps you did not maximize Shirt My Way’s online model. The last three shirts I bought from them are really super comfy and always make me feel like a billion bucks when I wear them.

Reply

46 enajyram00 May 30, 2010 at 8:46 pm

A little too small for you, eh? Maybe you haven’t fully used their interactive online model. All the shirts I bought from them always make me feel like a Hollywood bigshot. (Or perhaps you need a bit of jogging and a healthy diet to loosen up those love handles!)

Reply

47 Husher50 May 30, 2010 at 8:58 pm

I think Shirt My Way is just an overrated piece of junk. You can never replace going to a tailor and do your measurements there. An online store for you “dream shirts?” I don’t think so. And the $75-100 price tags are just robbery in plain sight.

Reply

48 newmediaist12 May 30, 2010 at 9:27 pm

A great tip for the site owners: Expand their market to accommodate other clothing needs, too. Other online shops feature footwear, accessories and many more. To be competitive, you have to be one step ahead of your rivals. However, Shirts My Way seems to be lagging behind.

49 WilmaP May 31, 2010 at 12:00 am

I do agree their site is not that interactive and super-efficient. People can design what they want so it’s good. However, what the site lacks is variety. My favorite variety site when it comes to clothing and more?

Reply

50 medomoc May 31, 2010 at 12:02 am

This site lacks variety. When I want to shop for clothes, I also need to check out accessories that will up the ante on fashion, as well. What is my favorite online store when it comes to choosing the trendiest clothes without busting my bank account? http://www.smartcoupons.org/

I just love how they made Rob’s (my hubby) shirts look great on him again. He just recently lost weight — after enrolling in a gym with me — and all of his clothes look like exaggerated clown costumes when he wears them. Think the price is over the top? Check out the ones displayed in top-shelf boutiques and you’ll know why.

52 AnnieLouJ12860 May 31, 2010 at 12:16 am

Why use an interactive model to get the perfect shirt? Why not just go to a tailor and save yourself the effort? See, Shoe? You ordered one and you still thought it was a bit tight.

53 Baseer Hannan May 31, 2010 at 12:18 am

They are comfy, snug and can be worn almost anywhere! Pop your collar and strut it like you want it!

You should expect a more than average fabric and design if you’re paying more than $60 for a shirt. With the amount you’re paying for one, I’d be better off checking out the flea market and surplus shops!

$75 for a shirt? There are a million other choices you can decide on than an overrated website that has an interactive model!

Reply

63 MVZP_01 May 31, 2010 at 1:42 am

As an avid mountaineering buff, I have my preferences when it comes to clothing. Personally, $75 goes a long way when it comes to trekking apparel. You can even buy a full reliable outfit for less than 60 bucks!

Reply

64 Laney Pitt May 31, 2010 at 1:45 am

The margin for error increases if you miss certain elements when choosing a piece of clothing. An interactive model doesn’t quite cut it for me. I am sorry, Shoe, but this is just too hoity-toity for me.
