I am sure that this company is watching the comments for this post, so I am going to take a chance and ask a question. I set up an Ohio, LLC. I now know that there are states with better tax rates for businesses.

1. Can I switch to another state?
2. In terms of taxes, what are the best states for online businesses?

Why not just contact them directly, Guy?

Free Shirt Friday! Only six more hours until I shut down for the day. TGIF, and thanks for sharing this company’s info. Perhaps I’ll need their services someday! (Fingers crossed.)

I can’t find the rates for services. I registered an LLC on my own for about $50. It took me a few hours to figure it out, and I had to redo the paperwork because I made a mistake. So I paid $50 + 8 hours of work. Wondering what it would cost in terms of time and money to use this service/??

The Affiliate program for this company isn’t too bad. They’ve been around since 2001, BTW.

You know, there is a trickle of US businesses setting up shop in Singapore right now. The first $200,000 you make is tax free. No kidding. If you reply to my comment, I will share the link for the info.

Singapore is the darling of SE Asia right now. Tons of businesses are investing because the government has been so aggressive about supporting business growth. The response has been incredible.

Thanks for checking out our site everyone!

Guy: You can form an LLC in a state other than your home state but if you have a physical presence in your home state you will have to re-register the out-of-state LLC there to do business (called a “Foreign Qualification”). This means you’d be paying taxes in 2 states instead of one and would not have avoided any home state taxes. More information on choosing a state is available here: http://www.mynewcompany.com/whichstate.htm

BigMoneyBrooklyn: You can see a price quote for LLC formation on this page: https://www.mynewcompany.com/oms/llc_order_1.php or just use the drop-downs and “Instant Quote” button on the top of the home page.

Interesting service. I just checked out the list of services. It includes LLC registration, DBA paperwork, licenses, etc. It also includes a list of other types of services like logo design, insurance, software, and so on. Looks like a good mix of resources for business owners. Thanks for posting!

What a great idea for a company. I wish I had known of this service when I set up my company. It would have saved me thousands of unnecessary legal fees. Unfortunately, no one tells you that when you start a business. You usually have to learn the hard way.

Your service targeting the offline company right? It’s a great idea man, but you should take some extra effort in promoting it because not all offline company can find you online. I mean they don’t use google very oftern.

Having incorporated the cheap way with the insane amount of paper work, I wish I did go through a company like this. Its sometimes better to pay a little more to save the amount of time wasted (like I did) and would easily recommend a service like this any day!

Hey Jeremy,

I just posted on your facebook page about your new company. But wanted to leave a message here also.

I have been following your blog for awhile, always like your honesty and straight forwardness.

Matt Knee is my best friend’s son and was complete surprise to see that you had bought his company.

As they say “What a small world.”

Never heard of them. What’s that one on the radio all the time, Legal Zoom or something. I went to lawyer that didn’t charge much. Like $100 over the incorporation fees in Ohio.
