What’s the quickest and easiest way to build links that is legit and not blackhat? Social site profiles are my best bet.

2 Robin Sterling March 23, 2010 at 2:14 pm

I know that this is a topic with a million resources online, but I really would love to hear your thoughts on this. I stick to tried and true methods… but I want to go faster. I’m working social sites too right now.

8 RangerRick March 17, 2010 at 11:21 pm

Why did you decide to go with Clickbank for the ShoeMoney System? You already had your own Merchant account for ShoeMoney Tools.

What % of revenue is subscription fee of shoemoney system compared to commissions, up-sales and other direct revenue generated during the shoemoney system course? You can exclude long-term list value.

Hi,

I will be starting a new blog (in Dutch) about Social Media. What would you consider to be the best quantity of content and blogpost to have before shouting around about your new blog?

I mean, I know I need at least one introduction post about the blog, but do I need some articled before that, so people can see the value of my blog and will want to check back soon?

Grtz.

27 Word Puzzles March 18, 2010 at 7:59 am

At what point (i.e. how much yearly income) do you switch over your online hobby from a sole proprietorship to an LLC or other form of corporation – and if you totally suck at business/accounting, like I do, what’s the easiest, idiot-proof way to do it to make sure you don’t screw the pooch? Thanks Shoe!

28 Jennifer Moore March 23, 2010 at 2:12 pm

I’m not Shoe, and I’ve only been at this myself for a year, but here’s my response:

If you have a lot to lose and not a lot of personal assets, I would go LLC right away. It is very inexpensive, and if anything should happen, you’re protected. That’s what I learned when I started the journey. I just jumped right in.

In order to keep on top of my finances, I have my accountant do the taxes every year along with my personal taxes. Once I learn more, I’ll probably take that job back, but for now, it’s money I’m happy to spend every year in order to make sure all of my p’s and q’s are in place.

Good luck, and keep in mind that I’m a rank amateur! ;)

Are you still on the wagon? It’s been a few months since you decided to stop drinking.

30 Vurdlak March 18, 2010 at 9:09 am

can you post a research about this: apart from us selling ads cpm etc, how can we approach companies that buy behavioral data (visitor data???), not ad inventory?

What do you think about using Facebook Fan Pages or Groups to promote things?

32 Surfer Sam March 18, 2010 at 9:37 am

I’ve noticed that lately the shoemoney.com pages don’t scroll smoothly in the Firefox browser. Have you ever watched a Slinky come down the stairs? It’s not pretty. However, in the IE browser, your pages scroll smoothly.
Have a good day !!

33 Vik Dulat March 18, 2010 at 9:49 am

How do you know who to hire for your staff? What’s your process? Is it a gut feeling or do you just take a chance with someone and see how they pan out?

Thanks for Q&A. Really appreciate you taking the time out and answering these questions for us :)

Cheers!

34 sean March 18, 2010 at 10:07 am

How do you predict the show will end?

Do you invest in domain names?

37 Kelly March 18, 2010 at 10:33 am

Hey Shoe…I’m tired of being an internet marketing loser! I can’t afford the Shoemoney system right now. What’s the next best (less expensive) thing to help me up and over the internet marketing hill?

38 Dave March 18, 2010 at 11:10 am

1) I see you only tend to promote the big dogs of IM like Reese, Jenkins, and Kern. Since you’re now a major player, are you getting calls all day long to promote other lower level MMO products?

2) Since your wife’s a doc and you’re a SB owner, what are your collective thoughts on Obamacare?

3) Do more creative submissions (outside T-shirts) stand a better chance of jumping ahead of others on FSF?

39 ZK@Web Marketing March 18, 2010 at 11:27 am

45 Michael March 18, 2010 at 12:58 pm

Shoe!

Dude, would you ever consider taking on an apprentice? You are a IM Jedi Master, I am an IM Loooooooooooooooooser! What would it take for you to take me on as an apprentice?

I could mow your lawn, bring your daily coffee, walk your dog, pick up your dry cleaning, run errands, Whatever! :) Yes! I’m desperate… I have no shame.

All kidding aside…. would you take on an apprentice?

Regarding your photo album “Send me a pic of you in ShoeMoney Gear and I will post it”. Why did you stop adding photos to this album? I have submitted a photo, no response… then I sent an email to followup, no response… Recently I sent some feedback about marketplace problems and also asked about the album submissions, your staff replied about the marketplace problems but ignored my question about the album submissions… I’ve also asked questions in your blog comments, 2 times you answered my other questions but ignored the album submission question! It seems you really don’t want to answer about why ShoeMoney Gear photo submissions are no longer being accepted?

Are you planning on doing a web based reality show yet? (And when you do can I help you with it?)

51 Brent March 18, 2010 at 6:47 pm

Do you still do any click arbitrage? If yes, are you doing well with it? And if no, why not?

52 David March 18, 2010 at 8:27 pm

Hi Jeremy,

What would you suggest to a start-up company in a very competitive industry e.g. Financial Services how to market themselves online when they don’t have the budget (yet) to start an long term SEO strategy?

Many thanks,

David

53 shoemoney rocks! March 18, 2010 at 10:25 pm

Hey Shoe, Eddie did a good job with the theme i like it. What was the damage?

54 Sue McDonald March 18, 2010 at 10:33 pm

Hi Jeremy

Are there any CPAs you would recommend above all others. One guru told me to get into 10 but do you think that is too many?

Kindest regards

Sue

If given a chance to be part of a TV show, would you agree?

56 Marco March 19, 2010 at 10:20 am

Shoemoney, after the weight loss surgery & its success, I cannot help but notice that your weight is creeping back up again.

Are you going to make an effort to sort this out, or are you going to allow yourself to get into the condition you were in before?

57 Brad March 19, 2010 at 10:56 am

Local lead generation: why local and where do you see the biggest potential for profit?

58 Chris Pontine March 19, 2010 at 6:11 pm

I notice you have a little saying at the top of your header stating “Home Grown in Lincoln, NE” with some yummy corn right next to it. Does the fact it covers a small portion of your advertising pose a little problem with your advertisers at the top? I know certain advertises can be pretty anal when it comes with whats going on around your site so I didn’t know if you had to contact them at first or rewrite anything.

59 chris March 19, 2010 at 10:31 pm

What is your strategy for the Adwords content network, and how dies this differ from the regular Adwords search network? Do you personalize content network ads based on specific websites?

60 Roger March 20, 2010 at 1:04 pm

Almost every initial review of the ShoeMoney System started off to say the content was slow and they did not know how long they would stay on. Now they are all saying that its well worth the money and really awesome. What changed?

61 lafluer March 20, 2010 at 1:09 pm

Awesome webinar the other night with Frank Kern. That guy is the real deal. Also thanks for asking him my question!

What are you using his good karma list machine for and how is it working out?

62 Jimmy March 20, 2010 at 1:10 pm

What is the affiliate payout with the ShoeMoney System and how are people doing with it?

63 Lou Sparx March 21, 2010 at 1:03 pm

Hey Jeremy,

I starting blogging about 4 months ago but hardly have any subscribers at all and this get’s me down a bit. I understand blogging takes a LOT of work and at the moment I’m just focusing on my readers with great content… but… Did you also get down in the early stages or was ShoeMoney a direct hit with the fans?.

Lou

Who would win in a triathalon: 5 laps in a pool, 2 miles on a bike, and carrying a full beer keg 200 meters. You? Dave? or Tigh?

65 AnnieLouJ12860 March 23, 2010 at 5:29 am

Any marketing tips for those into real estate marketing? E.g. marketing tools, techniques? Lately I’ve used twitter to build contacts and spread links around, and before that lots of article marketing and SEO, but I don’t think it’s enough.

66 Kinkazu Jan March 23, 2010 at 10:40 am

To be honest, this article is not the brightest ever but gives a pretty clear idea about subject. Thanks for that mate.
