You Have 30 Days

April fools is almost upon us again…

Damn time flies. I love april fools. Its the one time a year you get permission to show how creative you are and if it doesn’t work out you can throw April fools under the bus.

Its like when you were in high school and you have your best friend ask some girl on a date for you and when she says no you say, “Oh just joking”. Or maybe that was just me… anyway…

Last year my April fools day joke post was a spoof of LOST saying I was moving to portland. Its one of the most visited posts on all of ShoeMoney.com and also one of the biggest influx of RSS subscribers to the ShoeMoney Newsletter.

What are we going to do this year? Well you will have to wait 30 days to see ;) .

God last year was so ridiculous. I remember seeing that post and being like ‘People can’t honestly believe this…’ and it had like 50+ replies of people being like ‘OMG goodbye!’ haha. It was even funnier when you announced all the responses by people trying to call you out ‘HE IS PLAYING A JOKE’ and how you just disapproved all of them lol.

Why do you even spend/waste your time to come here and read stuff when you think its fake?

A teacher somewhere gave you the ability to read JasonManchrian. It’s a shame you didn’t put that ability to greater use before posting that ridiculous comment. Take a look in the mirror, slap yourself round the kisser several times, then read everything on this site, and anything else connected to Shoemoney, then when you realise how wrong you are, have the balls to come back and apologise then do something positive with your life, and sign up for the Shoemoney system!

Last year was EASY to figure out. The odd thing about last year was the number of comments that you were able to filter out. I know one of mine got through because I didn’t use one of your keywords.

Can’t wait to see what you have planned.

I think I actually have an idea for this year. Be my first blog April fool joke if I do it. Just have to see if I can put it together.

Should 301 your site for the day to freak everyone out. Since you’re not too worried about SEO for this site it would be pretty funny!

I’ve just started reading your blog, so it’s too bad I missed out on your April fool’s joke. Just being practical though, wouldn’t an April fool’s joke this year be a little obvious? You had gotten a lot of hits and RSS subscribers because of last year’s joke, but this time maybe not a lot of people will buy the joke. Just my thought.

I wish the April Fool’s joke would come on any day in April so everyone would be surprised.

Looks like April fools is a profitable “holiday”. That’s funny that that post was the most popular one. Don’t move to Portland! If you are moving to the pacific northwest, I’d say move to Seattle.
