Video Boss – Learn From One Of the Best in The Industry

by Jeremy Schoemaker on February 3, 2010 · 45 comments

What happens when you take an Emmy award winning video editor and throw him into the Internet Marketing World? You get the Video Boss!

The Video Boss (Andy Jenkins) has been doing product videos for some of the biggest product launches around. I am talking about guys that are doing millions of dollars in sales in just 1 day. Just a couple weeks ago The Magic Bullet system launched just by showing one of Andy’s videos and a “Add to Cart” button. And they sold out their $3,000.00 product to pocket many many millions of dollars in only a few hours.

John Reese, Frank Kern, you name it…. They have Andy on speed dial. The guy makes incredible videos that have amazing results.

Also don’t forget about the 25+ million dollar a year product called “StomperNet” that Andy was the co-founder of.

In the January ShoeMoney Newsletter I talked about how I met Andy and how he was one of the primary reasons we sold out the ShoeMoney System so fast. The actual sales page and video he created converted over 4x better than anything I created… and I think I am pretty good at conversion. I just wish Google Website Optimizer stats were not so delayed because we had no clue of the results until well after we were sold out.

Andy is a really cool guy who loves to help people. Check out his free video series called the Video Boss. Their is no sales pitch its just filled with great information. I guarantee it will make you think differently about how you are using (or not using) video to sell your products.

Thanks for sharing a great resource. I am not the biggest fan of video, but I am always willing to check out what is working for other people – to see how I can adapt.

Haha, he’s so much better than I am at video. Every time I try to put one together, it sucks big time. I’ve always wondered how people do such great jobs (and how much work it takes) on things like the intros – i.e. Shoemoney System or WLTV, etc.

ive paid 2500 for some videos…. that didnt convert as well as just using keynote and screenflow. And I made them in like 2 hours.

This stuff is legit

Got this in the newsletter, this guy can definitely face the camera better then the average guy. He didnt really go over the guys with headsets who sit and make videos all day on youtube.

But if you search “*Product Name* Review” on youtube, you will find these guys. Especially if its an affiliate marketing product. And these guys do nothing but just stare at the screen aimlessly and basically do a run down of the features which you can usually get off the sales page anyway. And look at the views these guys get, they make good money just from making piss poor videos that everyone else is too scared to make.

Sure the Video Boss is great, but what about LOST?

I’m more than just a little disappointed not to see even a mention….

What did you think of the Season 6 premier?
If they introduce any more characters, or make it even more confusing I’m going off the deep end!
I want answers dammit answers!

I thought it was OK…. I need to watch it again. The whole dual reality thing is kind of wack…

Shame you are too busy for a proper Lost post and discussion! I actually thought the episodes were predictable and contrived, though the Flocke/Richard part was definitely intriguing! Overall though, a rare disappointment with LOST.

Check out this really cool video that plays the plane-crash and non-plane crash scenes side by side: http://popwatch.ew.com/2010/02/04/lost-a-side-by-side-comparison/

@Shoe

No Shoe your talking about the same get rich scum bags that rip people off and have the hyped up product launches that provide little to no value and eventually end up in a battle of lawyers….
I talked about how I met Andy and how he was one of the primary reasons we sold out the ShoeMoney System so fast.
@Shoe

I bet …you may have sold alot more with hype and Andy Mr Video Boss and his Video Voodoo or whatever new catch phrase they’ll think of next … but expect high turnover

They are at many events live around the world and I highly encourage you to actually meet them for yourself

ha your funny man…trust me im not a hater…

your making it seem like someone will make millions if they go through your fucking affiliate link and buy video boss…

Also when i see the name Frank kern and Andy Jenkins I think of FTC and hyped up launches that yes may generate alot of money at first but then eventually crumble to shit..

yes video works but do people really want to pay XXX of dollars per month to learn how to use windows movie maker?.. and get bombarded with hyped up launches that go’s along with giving these fuckers your email… I think your starting to lean a little too far to the “get rich quick” side of making money online…

Who is making it seems as if someone can make millions? DId you watch his video? Its targeted to small business owners.

@shoe

you make it seem like all you need is one of andy’s videos and a add to cart button and your a millionaire… however you seem to leave out all of the thousands of hours of work etc that go’s into making money…

maybe you should add a bit more clarity for people who don’t have money to throw out the window…

now look im successful at what I do and I never buy into the hype … but it’s kinda fucked up when I see people I’ve followed for years make outlandish claims with no clarity…

I personally watched the video. Before it I had never even heard of Andy Jenkins. I actually learned a ton watching the FREE video. More importantly it cured me of feeling I needed to make an expensive video. I was grateful to see it.

In terms of “I think your starting to lean a little too far to the “get rich quick” side of making money online…” Jeremy is doing exactly the opposite. He is teaching fundamental concepts, at a digestible rate, so we have time to learn the materials, and apply them.

Sometimes there’s far too much false and misleading gushing on these pages.

Search Google re Stompernet and the people behind it and you might all be shocked……….

It was all shot within a few blocks of my office.
Look forward to learning more from this guy. I love how you are not jealous, and willing to constantly promote others.

Excellent video. Andy along with Brad Fallon is one of the reason’s I got started in video (or at least started trying). Their cheesy video promoting their stompernet launch made them 12 million in 24 hours. That’s all I needed to witness to understand the value and power of video. Also, sad the two Andy and Brad had a falling out. But Andy is one of the best in video.

This seems good for making video’s. however I am a strong believe that making videos, quality is okay (or like this), the real money made from marketing it effectively.

Greatest video with no views is like a website in the desert. Market, market, market your video.

Hi Jeremy, I was hoping you could help, I also missed out on the video series download for Andy Jenkins and missed out on seeing them after hearing everyone talk about them. I am new and very keen to learn new material, but this has been highly recommended. I am wondering if you or someone can help me in receiving these downloaded files, so that I can study and review them. Thanks so much for posting this, your entry had a lot of clarity and I appreciate that. My email is dennis@wuantum-leap.com.au. If I can help you in return, just let me know what I can do for you. Many thanks for posting and reading this message. Kind Regards, Dennis Oosterman

Sorry James. Let me be clear. Its going to take work… WORK TO COUNT ALL THE MONEY YOUR GOING TO MAKE!!!!!!!!!!

no seriously though… duh. Have we lost all common sense? Yes its going to require YEARS not hours to master this sort of thing.

Did you just start reading my blog?

Reply

43 James February 5, 2010 at 1:20 pm

I haven’t lost common sense, but I’m telling you most of your users don’t have common sense…

as you can see from when you was going to hire someone a couple of weeks back… most didn’t understand the whole must be 21 years of age..

and no dude I’ve became successful right along with you.. from damn near the beginning of your blog… right around the paris hilton days.. I just very rarely comment … and by clarity I mean like being actually clear in your blog posts… not for me.. but for your other users that don’t understand it… and probably get tired of throwing money out the window… I mean you can do what you want man it’s your blog… but when i read hyped of shit about people making millions in a few days… that just turns me off!!

James

So why do you comment under various different names and view points… even sometimes in the same post?

Reply

45 James February 5, 2010 at 11:03 pm

Huh, I use two email addresses and I always use James… The reason i use two email addresses is because they are very similar and to be honest I can’t remember which one i signed up with… and I never sign in under different user names and different view points..

My view is very clear hear.. I hate seeing blog posts that state they made millions in just a few days.. and all they did was X … I’m sure the videos are great of him walking on the beach talking about how rich he is and about his “million dollar launches” and how all you need to do is put a video up and your rich just like him…. but first you must give him your email and be prepared to get blasted with emails from more and more hyped up launches that provide no substance… and never mention the fact that you have to work your ass off for years to be able to make any coin..

Here is Video boss

all it is is hyped up video tutorials that you can get off the web for free.. put them on youtube and other video sites with your title and shoot links thats it!!! Oh and also I’m sure hell tell everyone how you can just make a video sales letter of your self playing with surf boards or walking on the beach and put your opt in on the page and you’ll be so rich you won’t know what to do…

so whatever man,
