Hmm, I guess the tactic worked LogoMyWay? Not sure if your going to get any customers spamming like this though…
I wouldn’t say its spamming. They paid about $250.00 to accomplish that, actually it was smart. Shoemoney probably charges $5,000 for a review and they are all over the front page for 250.00
They asked me if I mind if they bought 10 listings… I said sure
Well, I still think it looks spammy, but hey, if it’s ok with Jeremy, why not.
Now, the question would be, how much traffic did they get?

So at some point there will be a competitive purchasing war and no one will ever be able to be on the front listings unless they purchase 5 a day every day.
Do the listings rotate?
So pretty much like every other advertising venue on shoemoney.com we will let the market set the price. Obviously for $25 there is a huge market imbalence. We will be raising the prices to $50 (and implementing paypal shortly).
Amazingly enough the marketplace was the 3rd most viewed page on shoemoney.com.
We have had a lot of advertisers as if they could setup a reoccurring payment to get listed every week. We will see how it goes.
I actually admire logomyway for doing this. Not many people take a chance when they see a angle.
I do not usually go for these promotions but I am testing out the 10 free back links. But I am just putting it to a junk blog so I can see how they are creating the back links! : )
Now everyone will start buying 10 listings using this technique. I guess the only person to get benefited would be ShoeMoney.
Actually…
1) as said many times before all proceeds from the marketplace listings goto charity.
2) do you really think companies are going to invest in something that loses them money?
fact is the marketplace is just way to cheap right now. But we will correct that in time
