Back when Netscrape was kicking sand in their face in the browser wars of old, Microsoft said the internet was a fad that would die away then they embedded Internet Explorer to the OS. Basically, if Ballmer/ Microsoft say something is crappy or will be a flop, you better believe it'll likely be a hit.
