<description>If you guys are thinking about doing this, its definitely worth it. I&#039;m an entrepreneur that has built software businesses way into the many millions with 60+ employees but when moving onto the web and doing my next startup, I was almost completely clueless.

I found the first 5 weeks invaluable especially the parts on keywords and how to get traffic. There is some great stuff on how to judge who your competitors are and how they are doing. If you are blogging the stuff on how to start with Wordpress is good. We opted for Joomla because we want to take the site further than just a blog, but its all very good stuff. For a guy who thought $500K was nothing to start a company with being able to do it for $500 is crazy.

Also, I didn&#039;t find it overly sales oriented. Sure there are a couple pitches especially around Shoe&#039;s core but people have to make money somehow. And there is so much good free advice that you&#039;ll find yourself going back over those PDFs.

If there is one area that Shoe will probably strengthen its the Social Media stuff. Twitter has been a learning experience and we have yet to figure out Digg/Stumble, but we are making progress. Shoe&#039;s real strength is SEO, keywords, competitive analysis, but I am sure that the Social Media stuff will be beefed up. I think I was in the inagural class.

Good stuff.
