Before you buy a pass to Pubcon to hear the same old company pitches you have already heard a million times from the same speakers check out DK’s line up of events (AKA 2nd annual Pubcon hijack).
These events is actually where all of the “experts” will be at. AND in these settings you can actually “talk” to them instead of listening to their company stump pitch. Just check out all the people on DK’s attendees page and you tell me who are you trying to network with? Who are you trying to learn from?
These mini events are the key.
The events range from MMA trainging from Robert Drysdale and also former UFC Heavy Weight Champion Randy “The Natural” Couture’s top staff at xtreme couture to a total blow out birthday party celebration for Chris “emphasis” Hedgecock! The biggest event being the Thursday night poker tournament (which I got 2nd in 2 years ago) With many other things in between. This event has been the networking/social event for the last 2 years of all of pubcon… hundreds of people attend even those who do not play come for the free booze!
Last year DK reached capacity very quickly so if you are interested get over to his page and sign up for the activities now!

I agree, many of these conferences keep having the same people back year after year, same events, and expect people to pay out a few thousand to attend when many of the best parts of the conferences happen at times when you wouldn’t have had to pay anyways.
