I usually watch the Daily Show every night, but it looks like I missed this one. I love how the other guy compares it to the civil rights movement.

There are 3 types of Spammers:

a) Webmasters

b) bored-heads

c) haters

This is just great! Tweeted it out (@mikestenger)

Never knew there was such a feud going on between iFart & Pull My Finger. Either way, Joel’s app is the better of the two and Joel is a great character.

About the other video, Remember peeps. They’re not spammers but “High Volume Email Deployers” LOL!

18 Juuso August 9, 2009 at 11:28 pm

I wonder why Pull my finger didn’t start to do the same tricks (press releases mentioning “i fart” or misspelled “ifart”… or simply register the trademark). SEO battle all the way.

1st isn’t necessarily the winner in a long run…

19 Canada Immigration August 8, 2009 at 10:33 pm

Hahahaha. Hilarious video.

The one FACT they didn’t include though, is whether Richter’s email lists were OPT-IN email lists. If they were opt-in email lists and there is a way to easily remove yourself from the list, then it’s not spam. If he scraped the email addresses and there’s no way to be removed, then it’s spam. There’s a huge difference?

Which one is Scott Richter?
Oh, and how does he not know who the interviewer is? Does nobody watch the Daily Show? HAHAHA

But don’t these people know who they are getting interviewed by. Or do their press people have holes in their head and are asking to be fired?

really? I thought he was one of the best. I like his Twitter book. Bought it after seeing him speak at a conference recently. what are your concerns?

I read part of Joel Comm’s Twitter book the other day and thought it was pretty good too. Anyone that makes a ton of money like him is a target and there will definitely be people who don’t like him.

The iFart vs Pull My Finger debacle….who could’ve ever thought that people would profit from mobile apps that are nothing more than hot air (without the odor…)????

Reply

28 Online College August 11, 2009 at 3:52 pm

Good point. The one thing that really baffles me is that they are wasting money on something that is so stupid. Do one app that is better than the other, offer an upgrade for an extra dollar, make the app better. I dunno maybe come up with another new app.

it’s hard to believe you have a DOCTORATE in anything; you’re acting like an absolute kid. I don’t know about Germany, but in the U.S. it takes extensive schooling to attain a degree of that sort — you definitely aren’t showing such aging. Who cares if he’s insulting you (though, if it does hurt your feelings, keep lingering on the subject), just stop deviating from the point by pointing out insults. We all see that you’re getting insulted; we all also see that you lost the argument.
