Last December I agreed to wear your companies logo EXCLUSIVELY at Affiliate Summit west and the auction ended up going for $10,000 !!!!
We gave the money on behalf of the Affiliate Marketers Give Back foundation to the National Breast cancer society.
Now I doubt we can top the last auction for charity but here goes!
This is a great chance to get your brand out there and also support a GREAT CAUSE!
All of the winning bidders money will go to the Lincoln City Mission homeless shelter on behalf of Affiliate Marketers Give Back.
The short version is this:
There is an auction on here for me to wear your company logo during Affiliate Summit.
The winner will send me 3 shirts to wear at Affiliate Summit East aug 9-11th 2009 in NYC . I will wear no other shirt than your shirt during the conference and parties.
You will receive a TON of exposure. And A LOT MORE than just a handsome model wearing your logo!
Video Exposure:
- At Affiliate Summit this year we have gone through all the background checks, union agreements, and other hoops to be one of very few people allowed to take video inside of Affiliate Summit West. I already have about 15 companies booked to interview them about their services and also will be doing some general video.
- I also am asked about 10-20 times to be video interviewed (nobody is supposed to shoot video without authorization people will do it outside of conference areas) and your shirt will be shown.
- I have over 10,000 YouTube subscribers and am by far the most subscribed to person in this niche. All of the subscribers get alerted each time I upload a video. Each of my videos also has a chance of being syndicated by techcrunch/mashable or another large HUGE website and giving your company more exposure.
- I will also put the video on our CDN which will be ShoeMoney branded and get more exposure on the blog here.
Photo Exposure:
My photo gallery is the most visited section of ShoeMoney.com other than the root domain. Check these stats out from the last year:
You are not reading that wrong… over 2 million pageviews and almost 1.7 MILLION UNIQUE pageviews. That’s quite an amazing reach!
But besides the TONS of photos I will have in my own gallery, there will be loads of them on flickr and Facebook that people will tag and they’ll be seen by many.
So put your logo in front of TONS of people NOW!

I can’t thank you enough for doing this to support the National Breast Cancer Foundations — Affiliate Summit 2009 West’s charity of choice.
As someone who is an active fundraiser for breast cancer research and treatment, I can’t tell you how much this makes me happy.
Bid ‘em up high folks! It’s for a great cause!
WOW, this is going to get mighty crazy as the money pours in.
Howd my post get bumped down so far lol!? I was the 2nd person to respond in the thread!!!
posts get caught in moderation.
Damn – thanks for the heads up Jeremy!!! The more you know!!
That’s awesome Jeremy, your support of various philanthropies is one of the reasons why I subscribe. Do good and good will be done to you.
Yep this is great that people give back, we need more of this especially for causes such as cancer as I think all of us have been affected by it directly or indirectly
I love that auction will go to charity. Always leading by example, way to go dude!
Plus, this also solved your dilemma of what do I want to wear today
Lol whoever pays more money will get his name on Shoe’s chest. How about a tattoo next time?
Do you remember that dude that got a Shoemoney tattoo? Crazy y people…
http://www.shoemoney.com/2007/08/17/free-tatoo-friday-sundaybrew/
That guy was a scammer on digitalpoint as well
A tattoo on Shoemoney’s head would be crazy!
Jeremy,
No budget for T-shirts or logos. Spending it on gas for car and meals, to drive to #ASW09 from SF Bay area. I have a Platinum Pass, (thanks Shawn Collins!) and will not be videotaping this one, just absorbing and offering assistance as appropriate.
Looking forward to meeting you again, you are one of the few genuine
givers amongst all of the takers out in Web 3.0 land.
Respectfully,
Nicholas Chase
Twitter/nachase
Very true – it’s part of what makes Jeremy such a popular internet marketer!!
Web 3.0?
Oops, did I sleep through another web age again?
Man, I need to get some t-shirts printed up.
ya, that makes a lot of sense. try girl with your tshirt too. $75 sounds cool
Make sure you have your name or URL printed real big..
Thats definitely pretty serious!! if you have something similar in the new year I will definitely participate, as I am launching a new site in January
this event is in January…
HMMMM thats a tough call, as any delays would be less than idea for me as I would hate to promote a site that isn’t quite up yet hehehe
Either way, I will definitely need some serious promotion for atleast the first month, as is forsee the sight spreading like wildfire already, as the concept hasnt yet been executed.
I will be in touch with you after it launches – hopefully you will have another form of advertising I’ll be able to take advantage of, as I’m sure you will bring our site great startup traffic!!
I’m about a month too late with starting up the concept lol – great idea though to auction off ad space like this!
now is the time, now is the time….bid right now is 495.00
wow the bid is at $1000 now =) but pretty great way to promote I have to say
$2,525,50 at present! It is Monday here is South Africa, and expect this taotal to climb as the US starts waking up…..
Ohhh …Jan is way too FAR for now Shoe…I guess the MAX bid will reach some where near $50k to $60k.
what about the real estate on your forehead?
damn that is alot of reach , and seems like a great marketing strategy
It certainly is!! That’s why I’m disappointed I can’t even take advantage of this – my site’s logo would fit perfectly with the colour theme with the red shirt even lol
and what is better? its so cheap..
Starting to get not as cheap lol – 550 already with a whopping 9 days 21 hours left – I can see this being bid up to a fairly hefty price
Nope, the price tag is becoming more and more expensive!
let the bidding begin! great idea.
wooho, great oppurtunity..
if I had $$$, i would have definitely grabbed the deal
Love the idea! Nice to send some $$ to charity. Someone is going to get some serious PR from you, the walking billboard.
Cool shirt, I like the color.
I really liked the blue shirt three weeks ago. This shirt also looks quite stylish.
Wow, what a great opportunity. Especially for a company launching/growing an affiliate program. Can we put more on the shirt besides a company logo? For example, something like “Looking for great affiliates, 25% payouts and higher”. Nothing obnoxious or overly spammy but some sort of message to help attract more leads.
Thanks.
no tshirt spam. Just the name and never forget the URL
It can be done in a way that is not spammy. Just a logo/emblem makes it less valuable. Even something less spammy than what I posted before would be helpful, like “Join our affiliate program”. Something to allow the reader of the t-shirt to connect the company logo to an action or purpose.
This is good enough..Especially on Shoe’s chest!
I don’t see why not.
It’s been done with “I’m blogging this”, hasn’t it?
I agree with your saying Scott.
Hi Jeremy.. Your photo gallery is the most visited section of ShoeMoney.com other than the root domain. I think you should try to be a photo model..
I know Im checking the photo section often. Some great pics there for sure.
ok, my original comment was moderated so I’ll keep this one serious: what content restrictions are there? Knowing there’s a good cause behind it and that everything needs to be kept tasteful, would you wear a shirt for a payday or a dating site?
Great initiative Shoe,
You are Awesome!
D&G
Oh this is a really good chance but I doubt I will ever pay enough to win this bid? Way too cool to get your brand out there.
Only 5 hours into at 10 day auction and it is up to $1000 … nice job (secretly grinding teeth in pure raw jealousy) LOL
$1,000! How high do you guys think this will go?
You never know with ebay .. sometimes I have an auction end and
I think OMG somebody actually paid me that much for that LOL.
This Tshirt idea could blow over in a few hours and not go up much more or it could keep going .. people get determined to win and
the next thing you know Mr Shoe is walking around in a $20K tshirt.
I hope he gets a buttload of cash for it.
That would be absolutely INSANE
I would really wonder how the return on THAT kind of investment would be – hell even a single GR is a lot! (for most)
I just hope whoever wins actually pays up, not like the other 98% of major auctions on ebay that are won by a 9-year-old with his mother’s credit card.
Well i guess last year it ended up at $10k this year it should go some where around $25k since these it is very much difficult to promote your products on internet without support of Shoe, John, Zac and Neil ..!!
Out of the other shirts presented I really liked this one especially the red color and the “Rock Star” very neat.
Red attracts attention well.
Great idea.
Good idea, good cause and good luck to everyone bidding
Yes Good Luck From My Side Too.
Very cool, just put my bid in.. I’m sure some network will come along and demolish it… top bidder for now though
Also, nice to see we will be on the same panel again!
Wow 2 mil page views is ridiculous! Ive never seen that documented before. Very nice
Maybe you should throw in some models wearing the logoed shirts as well. You know, just in case.
Jeremy, you need to put some fine print in there that you can’t be held responsible for the shirt and how it is captured on film .. I mean what if they offer a free monster BBQ buffet and the shirt gets wasted .. ok so that probably wont happen .. I’m just thinking about wanting BBQ.
This is a good advertisement for smart people. It’s a good idea.
This is a good advertisement for smart people. It’s a good idea
As we all know, the eBay auction action happens in the last minutes. This will be an exciting one to watch.
Totally!! If its at 2 grand right now, just imagine!!!
There’s probably someone out there with a sniper in place…
thats a great contest/auction. we try to do things in our local area for charities also. Its always a good feeling
Thanks for adding your auction to my website! I’ve done some additional promoting of your listing. If I could spare the bucks I would indeed have you wearing “PowerSellingMom.com” on your shirt! Well, I could have you wear: PowerSellingDad.com because it all leads back to MOM ((smiles)) Wishing you tons of success with this listing! Blessings, Danna
LOL …..Power Selling DAD …
That is nice of you to give money to charity. I hope you raise a lot of money.
I liked watching your Analytics Stats that’s awesome..
Did not know the system will read to understand better.
Good luck. Hope you make lots of bank on this idea. I was going to bid, but it is well over $2k right now. Too rich for my blood now, but by next year, I’m hoping it won’t be!
Yeah the kid playing on mommys account winner syndrome sucks … I’ve had a few payments later refunded because of this excuse .. which was a lame excuse … how many kids sneek on their parents ebay accounts .. search out and bid on SEO services or products .. discuss the details after they win .. drag it out for a couple weeks and then suddenly get caught … they’re too busy looking at porn. Bad thing about it now is ebay and paypal are too interconnected and tend to take the side of the buyer. Especially with digital products services … Once I auctioned a service and a month later paypal had taken $90 from me saying that the buyer claimed I had never shipped the item … it was a service that could not be tracked by Fedex so I got ripped before I could notify paypal of the scam … did they say whoops we goofed and replace my money? Of course not …. Somebody step up and build a replacement to ebay … and paypal.
What the HELL are you talking about dude ??

Great idea and for a great cause!
Jeremy
this is a great idea. Very cool and very smart. We will be bidding!
now whats the best “how to win on Ebay” program/book to win! LOL
Hey Shoe,
Next time ping me, we might have been agreeable to sponsoring this via GetItNext as the search engine instead of eBay. Let me know if you run something like this in the future.
Matt
Hey Shoe,
Next time you run something like this ping me. We might have been willing to sponsor this if you used GetItNext as the search engine instead of eBay. Let me know in the future if you’re planning on doing anything similar.
Matt
I think this is a fantastic idea, great that the money goes to charity, and that people are giving so generously. I reckon this will go to $5k easily, and I really hope so because the cause is worth it, more so considering the publicity the winner will get!
Wow again, that is amazing that you can get people to bid on someone to wear a shirt that is crazy. Too bad I’m only a small business, for now, and would have to take a loan out to get the winning bid. Maybe that will be an goal for myself to become even more successful and generate a larger net profit.
Thanks
Mr. School Fundraising Ideas
Very Nice post .. Great Idea.
Good to see you’re helping people.
Uhhhh…seems interesting shoe.
Is there a way i know the FINAL pricing for the BID ?? Smart way of making money though.
Not to make money but to give charity. Would like to see the maximum bid and logo of the owner.
Way to help out charities
You make us, your readers, to compete against each other. This is like buying AdWords positions. What I like is the great idea and that this is a charity campaign. Good luck!
that red t-shirt is really hot I really like it, I definitely want to get this t-shirt, please reply me back to know how I can get it I live in Panama City, Panama
Time flies.. I still that very same post.. Its been a year already?
Great opportunity for someone to get some exposure. I’ll be keeping posted with this. Hope it doubles this time
Maybe someone could offer some more prizes to incentivize this opportunity.
Prizes will not cheap this time Dustin
Shoe giving money for good is one True quality of honest business person like you. Not every blogger can give such a huge money for charity. Thumbs UP for your Kindness towards Poor and needy people, as always YOU ROCK ..!
As Always Shoe, you are able to give out some much needed charity. Whether it is with knowledge or Money! Way to go!
just one word…WOW
One of these days I’ll try and get you a T-Shirt Jeremy
This is starting to look something like Warren Buffet annual eBay auction.
Maybe eventually you will top Warren Buffet’s auction price.
I think it is great idea and can help give some people out there some exposure! Awesome post and charity.
i think its good idea should help out lots people send send send
170mb …lol
A good way to earn money shoe, I like your idea, so fantastic
Seems to me that you have not read full. This will be for charity purpose.
There are many other ways to earn but this kind of thought really required standing applauds.
Sorry I am coming to the post so late, but it is still a good idea and a unique way to raise funds for a good cause.
The idea is just “out of the box” enough do do well.
Worthy cause. Good on you, shoe.
How much to got shirtless with body painted logo all weekend?
Man…what are you talking about ??
Seems you are CRAZYYYYYY
This one is sound really crazy but interesting stuff. Just imagine top bloggers like Jeremy, John, Neil, Joe will have tattoo logo of one brand all weekends …
I am sure this photos will get highest click and logo will get the recognition within few hours.
The logo exposure will be awesome!!!
Wow nice auction so far Shoemeister..
Just wait til Jeremy offers the Tattoo on his forehead auction…This will be a real crowd pleaser along with boat loads of cash for his charity
Hey Shoe. Just thought I’d log on and thank you for giving us the interview ( http://www.needmoney.com/2009/07/interview-with-jeremy-schoemaker-shoemoney/ ) I really didn’t think you’d do it.
RESPECT.
As long as the proceeds are going to charity this is for an awesome cause!
Very Good…it’s good to see you’re helping people
Online GURUs are always taking and organising these kind of things. Recently John auctioned their tech gadgets to raise the money for charity purpose.
Certainly if you are capable of helping others than you should move ahead.
Who is John?
John Chow i guess?
Bingo … that is the right guess and you have won …
It is great that you can do something so simple and raise so much money. This is what you get for branding yourself so well.
Good job Shoe!
Hmmm, time sure does fly! You’re presenting a mighty strong sales pitch here, and I am sure that last years price will be pipped this time round. Remember that this one is for charity, folks!
The way the bid is going I can assure you that its gonna end up better then last years.
I’m not in a position to bid on this but I wish you luck.
I recently paid some money to become the sponsor of a semi-pro football club here in the UK.
Awesome stuff that you’re doing there with ‘selling’ yourself for a charity. Best of luck with the auction.
Great idea to raise some money for charity Jeremy. Whoever bids for this is bound to get a ton of exposure. It’s a win-win situation. Now I wonder how much a nobody like me could raise from doing something like this.
I agree!
Good luck to the bidders.
How about an auction for the opportunity to place an adhesive Shoemoney logo on the chest of the guest-poster of the winner’s choice?
great idea…and good cause…keep helping as sumone will return the favours!
That Is the great and nice what you done for helping another people
I just want to say That is Great
and two thumb up for u Shoe
Its really nice to see that your effort towards helping others got the perfect reply and you got the bidding of $11,100
Dude why are you Spamming such a blog ?? Do think people are fool here to earn $k weekly without any efforts ?? Do you actually know how much efforts one needs to put in order to make $500k in real life ??
Shoe why do you approve such comments ??
