Great card tonight for UFC 100. I am pretty pumped.
I have not bet on MMA since I lost all my winnings I had built up ($1300) in the first Lesnar vs Mir fight.
I am going to lay the wood on this rematch for redemption! CMON LESNAR!!!!!
I like Alves in the big upset over George St Pierre.
I also think Michael Bisping will be exposed for the total can that he is fighting Dan Henderson. The only reason the UFC promotes him so much is because they want to keep the UK fans interested in the sport.
From a unit perspective I am betting:
10 units on Lesnar over Mir
3 units on Alves over St. Pierre (not likely but nice odds)
5 units on Henderson over Bisping.
For those not getting the fight MMA Junkie has live round by round coverage and they do a really good descriptive job of the action. I usually refresh often to get the under card results.
UPDATE: REDEMPTION BABY!!!!!!!!!!! +12 units!!! ended up a great night.

Lesnar sure dominated
July 15, 2009 at 6:17 am
I really wanted to see that fight but i missed it. Then my friend told me who won. I was so pissed. Me and her could have had our own match right there…lol -
July 14, 2009 at 5:34 pm
man, GSP is unstoppable, but if he moves up i weight to fight Anderson Silva he’ll get embarrassed.
July 14, 2009 at 11:57 am
lesner could be one of the best on this industry is a very tuff wrestler
July 14, 2009 at 8:26 am
I also want lesnar to win..!
July 13, 2009 at 8:48 pm
Lesnar is a punk…He should have never flipped off the crowed after that win…Next time he fights I hope he gets destroyed
July 13, 2009 at 8:51 pm
its nothing new for him though
July 13, 2009 at 10:33 pm
Lesnar isn’t a punk. He destroyed Mir and the crowd continuously booed him… he deserved some cheers. He apologized later anyways, in the Post fight conference. He probably got in trouble from Dana White.
Amazing how GSP won too… supposedly he tore his groin or something messed up. He had to see doctors after the fight to get checked.
July 13, 2009 at 7:22 pm
2 out of 3 picks – not bad. I’d like to thank Dan Henderson for knocking the sh*t out of Bisping.
July 13, 2009 at 8:38 pm
amen… Obviously GSP was a monster favorite but I still felt alves was always a punch away from knocking him out.
July 13, 2009 at 4:19 pm
Lesnar is a first class douche bag.
July 13, 2009 at 4:20 pm
worked amazingly well for him in the WWE
July 13, 2009 at 1:10 pm
Could not have been more excited about the Bisping knockout. Absolutely phenomenal. Glad this card lived up to its potential, too. The only letdown was seeing all that blood on the canvas all night, but never getting to see the fight that led to it
July 13, 2009 at 8:13 am
Hey Guys,
I watch WWE but what is UCF 100? Brock Lesnar used to be in WWE, and has joined UCF 100 – so it seems the fights are same as WWE or different? I dont know.
Jeremy I will be really glad if you reply. Do you watch WWE? AFAIK WWE is more popular worldwide than UCF 100 – or am I wrong?
Which one do you like more WWE or UCF 100?

UFC is nothing like WWE. WWE is faking fighting for the sake of entertainment. UFC is real fighting, go to youtube and search UFC highlights or something and then you’ll know.
July 15, 2009 at 6:28 am
>> WWE is faking fighting
Hey how’s that? Then UCF is fake too. I mean I am following WWE (earlier WWF) since the last 15-16 years (since The Undertaker defeated Hulk Hogan to win his first WWF Championship).
While I do agree that there is a lot of drama to entertain viewers, I don’t think the fights are fake. Hey what about Shane McMahon falling 20-30 feet down on a heap of wires or what about those chairs being hit very hard on their heads – and blood oozing out? What about those TLC (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs) matches – are they all fake?
Americans are smart enough to catch fake. And IMHO any business that’s fake cannot make money. WWE has RAW, SmackDown and many other small events every week to packed audience – week after week. 2010 WrestleMania tickets were ALL sold within an hour it went live. You mean all this is fake?
Rajbir its just the way you look at it.

Well, as a Brit it would have been nice to see Bisping progress with a win over a calibre fighter. But as we used to say on the doors – he got knocked the *#$! out! And that follow up punch will have him drinking soup for a week I reckon.
Lesnar, I can see him becoming the uncontrollable bad boy of the UFC. The one we love to hate, or just hate. Someone who can defeat his sheer strength and power will be a long time coming but boy will 90% of fans cheer on whoever does rise to the challenge. I see Kimbo Slice is lined up for the next TUF. Don’t rate him as a MMA fighter, but would be good to see one street legend against the cartoon style Lesnar.
GSP – unstoppable. Would have been a hard card to bet on, my heart would have gone with Bisping, Mir and GSP. But by head told me Hendo, Lesnar, GSP. Should have listened to my head and had a flutter.
Roll on Silva vs Griffin.
July 13, 2009 at 1:12 pm
If Dana isn’t successful at getting Lesnar to cut out the WWE routine, it’s going to give people more and more reason to be skeptical about the fights in the UFC. That said, I’m sure they could do worse — financially speaking — than to copy the WWE model. Hope it doesn’t go that way, though.

thank you once article gives me new enthusiasm for me, and I am very grateful because once your article is very excellent, and I feel lucky to be able to read your article, many thanks
yan ary
July 13, 2009 at 3:16 am
I was able to watch UFC 100 but not all the fights. But of course, I didn’t miss the main event: Lesnar VS Mir. Cheers Brock!
July 13, 2009 at 1:37 am
Too much violence for ethically minded affiliates…..
July 13, 2009 at 12:22 am
It was a great fight, but Lesnar has to learn to be a better sportsman. But I wonder what is next for him–who will his next opponent be?
July 12, 2009 at 11:38 pm
There was no way GSP was going to lose
(nobody in that weight class can take him).
Henderson was really awesome.
I’m still mad he was robbed by Rampage awhile back.
Lesnar is unstoppable. The only one that can take him is Fedor (not in UFC, maybe Dana can fix this?).
July 12, 2009 at 2:41 pm
hahahahah go lesnar! lmao.
July 12, 2009 at 2:23 pm
Henderson is the man.. knockout of the night that was ridic plus the extra superman punch after he’s laid out ‘just to shut him up’ classic
July 12, 2009 at 2:05 pm
Lesnar is a dumb a$$ I can’t believe how he was acting. Stupid
July 12, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Time will reveal everything.
July 12, 2009 at 1:11 pm
Cordially yours from France.
July 12, 2009 at 10:28 am
Lesnar is going to lose again.
July 12, 2009 at 9:55 am
Brock Lesnar, the WWE superstar proved to the world he is not just an actor but a true warrior by annihilating in the early rounds.
July 12, 2009 at 8:10 am
It is being moved to channel 433 here in the UK, if it is free I’ll watch it. If that channel charge then I’ll catch a torrent download.
I already pay through the nose for Sky, I’m not paying another £20 (about $35) to watch this.
July 12, 2009 at 7:29 am
Lesnar right now is unstoppable, and thats all there is to it. The only way anyone is going to win is by a lucky submission or a lucky kick to the head that knocks him out… other then that no one will beat him…
btw, mir is a cocky ass bastard… he got his ass handed to him in the first round, and the whole time he just hid, gave thumbs up to his corner like hes okay and it was all part of his master plan, then he was saved by the bell… round 2.. he comes out smiling, like hes got it in the bag… next thing he knows is hes getting his head pounded in, gets knocked out.. wakes up… tries to get up … wobbles over… finally makes it to his feet… and starts to act tough like hes gonna do something to the guy that just made him his bitch… lol yeah right…. also so what if a submission was available for lesnar to take, i honestly dont think he wouldve taken it because he wanted to straight up punish mir for all the shit talking he did prefight….
July 12, 2009 at 6:01 am
I remember Lesnar from his WWE days. He’s an incredible athlete. I’m not a big fan of MMA but it seems like it’s becoming more and more showy and similar to WWE.
July 12, 2009 at 4:38 am
The heavyweight division leaves me cold. Not enough really athletic fighters. Kudos to Lesnar for winning his bout, but I really yearn for more.
July 12, 2009 at 1:16 am
Hmm… Wish you all the best! Even i cheer from Brock of the two!
July 12, 2009 at 12:56 am
It’s kinda not very interesting when all your bests turned out to be truth, but still, all the fights were interesting and exciting!
Especially when you have a beer, lol.
Nice to see another cool blogger to like UFC
July 12, 2009 at 12:42 am
All the best to you and to your bet.
July 12, 2009 at 12:24 am
Well you were right.
You got the 2 big bets and then the bet to win big but knew you would lose held up also. Good work. I should bet the same as you on all of these.
July 12, 2009 at 12:21 am
I want to know who won?
July 11, 2009 at 11:51 pm
cant wait to see the result
July 11, 2009 at 10:25 pm
Thanks for the tip on MMAjunkie, I’ll be keeping track of it second hand. Looks like you were right about Bisping.
I pick Mir though.
July 11, 2009 at 8:47 pm
Lesnar will win this match for sure..
July 11, 2009 at 8:41 pm
yes… UCF.. Go Knights!
July 11, 2009 at 5:11 pm
Mir in the 3rd by submission.
July 11, 2009 at 4:46 pm
I would love to Lesnar tapping out on Mir’s butt for 1 minute straight one more time around.
July 11, 2009 at 4:42 pm
Ok My mind is made up thanks to Shoemeister…
$500 on Brock tonight…
July 11, 2009 at 4:33 pm
Oh yeah, I hope that Lesnar continues his good efforts. And the other vote goes to the other favorite of mine: GSP. and I can’t believe it’s UFC 100 already, MMA and UFC has truly grown into massive entertainment business, for a reason.
July 11, 2009 at 4:17 pm
I haven’t seen UCF in years. I remember when it was first given in PPV back in the 90’s. When the fighters did not wear them little gloves pure first.
July 11, 2009 at 6:07 pm
UCF? UFC! Shoe needs to change his title too. Anywho, Lesnar in the first. Alves is gonna take it though I’m a huge GSP fan. And Henderson will rock will rock Bisping. My predictions.
July 11, 2009 at 2:39 pm
just
July 11, 2009 at 2:18 pm
I think Lesnar is going win easily back then he had no experience… Frank surprise him and the rest is history…. Don’t think frank can do it again….can he really do it again?
The match I can wait to watch his GSP Vs Alves… it’s going to be an explosive fight…. I still think GSP is way stronger and faster, on top of that he has way more skills…. Anyway an upset may happen…. I don’t think so tho . From what I saw when GSP was back in montreal… He is way more faster then his previous fight…. Don’t miss this fight… a pitbull vs a skill fighter
July 11, 2009 at 1:47 pm
Woah. I just know now your having fun of mixed martial arts (MMA). Well, I also place my betting mind on Lesnar. Goodluck to UFC fans. I’ll be watching these…
I wonder if you like boxing and you know Manny Pacquiao? Cheers!
July 11, 2009 at 1:43 pm
Wife and I will be sitting in section 105, about 12 rows back from the floor. If any other shoesters are going to be there, ping me!
