ShoeMoney Readers: What FaceBook Url Did you get?

by Jeremy Schoemaker on June 13, 2009 · 154 comments

So tell me! I am curious what vanity facebook url did you get during the landrush.

I love to see what people choose:

Me: Internet Marketer

My Page: Shoemoney

My Wife : Anesthesiologist

Dillsmack: Dellanave

It was tough for me to decide. My first choice was “jeremy” but I was too slow. My second choice was “marketer” but again to slow…. then I went for internet marketer and got it!

In hindsight I am pretty happy with the choice.

So what did you get?

So I went with my name, which I hope will get up in the search engines, like my blog is when you search on my name. http://facebook.com/christianjessen

I still blame Facebook developers for having no life, and the date and time they choose, just signals to me, that they wanted the spammers to get first! Who, sorry if I diss anybody, sits in their office, or in front of their computer, 12:01 FRIDAY NIGHT! I dont want to spend my friday night waiting to get a good name. But maybe thats just me, “ofcourse the majority of facebook users is online 12:01 friday night”..

Anyway, congrats with the name. I didnt want to go for anything else then Christian or Christian Jessen, since that is not my name, and thats not the reason for my personal page on Facebook.
