Earn Prizes and Cash?

If you haven’t noticed yet affiliate networks are seeing huge returns by having publisher contests. Just check out the Motive Interactive contest we announced earlier this week.

With the rise of all these contests obviously it opens up a great business opportunity for someone to jump in and take the reigns and run these contests taking some of the friction off of both the publisher and advertiser.

twitthis started hosting twitter contests last week and they have become a huge success getting thousands of entries per day!  Another successful site hosting contests is PublisherChallenge.com.  The site is ran by Tyler Cruz and starting to really pick up steam.

PublisherChallenge.com - Affiliate Marketing Competitions

PublisherChallenge.com has been running competitions for various affiliate networks for quite a while now.  So basically they run the competition, on a per-network basis and each affiliate network essentially gives them a set of prizes to give away.  Most of the competitions are run on a monthly basis, and require registering to the corresponding affiliate network under PublisherChallenge’s referral URL.  After you register with each affiliate network, you start earning money as you would normally, but you are also competing for some great stuff.  To date, they have given away $20,000 in prizes!

They do all of the tracking without asking for your username or password, and no code to implement either.

I mean making money is great, but making money and winning prizes like: a ZERO-G Weightless Experience or an Epic VIP Vegas Trip for Two for a full week is awesome!

Currently, CPARev, running a great contest through PublisherChallenge.com with prizes ranging from  a 52-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV, MacBook Pro, 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera, and a VIP trip to Vegas to name but a few.  Peerfly.com is also running a contest right now, and have already given away $8,000 in prizes so far.  Prizes range from trips to scooters to tvs!

Sign up now and make some money and win some cool stuff.

That sure is an interesting business model…set up a contest site and have visitors sign-up for affiliate networks and reap the benefits from those sign-ups… Gives me Ideas!

Tyler Cruz is kind of a sell out. You need to join under him and he gets income from the sign ups under his ID. It would be nice to run a site like this where any affiliate could enter with out having to sign up under one guy. No to put down Tyler just it’s kind of a sneaky way to get people to sign up under an ID.

if he did not get credit for the signups… that would be just stupid

With respect Jeremy, just saying that you can monetize this type of site. If a user is already in a network then Tyler can still make money. The networks can work out a deal and have tracking. He could build a large list of affiliates. You know what that can be worth. There are many ways to let everyone play in this sandbox. Build a community and the money will come. It’s worked for you and John Chow.

I think what’s great about Tyler’s contests are that you earn the money and at the same time you discover if the network has the best payout.

If they do you’ve found a great network that makes you money, if not then you’ll win a cool 52 inch HDTV instead by testing them, you can’t lose!

I have been running some of my traffic through PeerFly and have been very happy with the results. I haven’t even come close to winning the contest, but the PeerFly guys are great to work with and I have been seeing some very positive results! :)

Affiliate marketing has always been exciting and rewarding. But with such publishers coming out with interesting competitions and prizes, the entire thing has become even more interesting and exciting.
Shoemoney.com is one site where I have seen quite a few of such competitions and their details. Hence it is always and enriching experience to read one of your blogs.

I am going to Sign up and give it a try for sure shoe. Affiliate marketing is always challenging mode of online business, if you plan things you will get the returns over a period of time. As i have mentioned in my last post that i am well prepared with my websites to start affiliate business, this seems to be good chance for me to get things going right away without any further delays.
