I have received a ton of douplicate questions about the new FREE 12 week internet marketing program I started last week. Its been pretty wild and one of the first things I have ever done. So here is a list of frequently asked questions and answers about the program.
Question: Why did you make this program?
Answer: I made the program because I felt like there was a HUGE need for a newbie guide to internet marketing. One of the most common questions I always get is “Where do I start”. Now I have some place to point them.
Question: Who is this program designed for?
Answer: The program is designed for people completely new to internet marketing. There is a good chance your parents are a better fit for this program then you are 
.
Question: There is some really good stuff in there. Obviously you spent a lot of time on it. Why did you make it free?
Answer: I have always done well giving away good content. This blog is a great example. I wrote it for years without ever making a dime. Now it is a excellent source of revenue for me from advertisers and also a great launching pad for our other ventures. Giving away this course has already increased my RSS readership by about 30% in only the 2nd week.
Question: I am really skeptical about joining your program. I have been burned in the past by other make money online guru’s and its cost me thousands of dollars. How do I know you are legit?
Answer: You are very smart to be skeptical. I can’t speak for these programs you have been burnt on but I can speak for myself. I have spent over 12 years working on the ShoeMoney brand building successful companies (not being a online guru). I plan on continueing that. I would advise you to do some quick research on any person behind the program, paid or not, before you sign up.
Question: Why do you make people wait 7 days between chapters? I want it all now!
Answer: Internet marketing is not something you can learn over night. I give out a tremendous amount of information in these chapters and then assign you action items that I want you to do.
Question: Do you have any plans to translate it to other languages?
Answer: YES! So far we have had volunteers translate the course to Mandarin Chinese and Russian. If you would like to translate the course to your native language then use the contact us form and let us know!
Question: I heard some of the “gurus” were really upset that you put this out.
Answer: Well… I think it was more like people who paid thousands of dollars for many gurus programs were complaining my free course was much better and free.
Question: Why do your banners say 11 week course but its really a 12 week course?
Answer: Originally it was going to be a 7 week course…. then 8 then 9 then 11 and we had banners made… then when we launched I expanded it to 12 weeks. To be honest it could end up being longer then 12 weeks. I have thought of a lot more topics I want to cover.
Question: I heard you are not going to allow signups much longer. Is this true?
Answer: We will keep it open for registration for another week or so.. I really dont want to keep it open much longer. The reason being that people who started at the begining are almost on week 3 and while I can answer emails between weeks 1-3 it will be REALLY hard to do weeks 1-12!

Somehow I doubt the free part…
I wouldn’t be surprised if it stays free. Its kind of like addicting people to cigarettes, you gotta give them a bit before they keep coming back. Assuming the guide works for people they will probably in turn join ShoeMoney Tools and potentially sign up as an affiliate under Shoe for various companies. I’m sure he also has some arrangement with the offers later on as to make use of them to generate some dough for all his hard work.
I can understand your doubt. But the most important thing to understand when you are into the internet marketing business is that you don’t always have to shell out hundreds and thousands, if you want quality information. Most of that is available online, if you know how to search for it.
If you are focused to your goal and are not spending lot of time surfing unnecessary things and have joined the right courses (free, of course) then you are on the right path.
As such, no education is a waste. You will learn something at least. The brand “SHOEMONEY” at least would ensure that you do.
Thanks Shoe – I’ve joined your tools program but canceled it because I’m not ready for it. I am following the course all the way to the end (just joined a few of the affiliate networks as stated in week 2) and am determined to become a successful affiliate marketer. I’m ready to invest the time and I’ve prepared several thousand dollars to invest in testing along the way.
The Q&A above is good to give an insight into the course that your are offering for free. I have been on the internet for about 2 years now and am earning well. But my problem is that this online business has only made a new job for me and I have to work on multiple sites to earn what I am earning. Though I am happy at least of the fact that I am not working for anybody else.
Having said that the reason why I joined your course is because I too want to build a brand of mine like you. You have always been a motivation to me and your tips and helping me.
I liked the quote you had made in one of the comments above “Not an online GURU”. There indeed is a difference between a Successful businessman and an Online GURU.

Shoe – Very Interactive session i must say that. Yesterday only i finished reading Week 2 PDF talks about affiliate marketing and i want to share with every one that i have learned a lot from the same. Only thing i wanted share with you in open that you should have kept some fees for the same. In today’s world FREE things has no value Shoe, i am sure being such a Professional blogger you should take a note of that.
The first pdf was possibly the best intro’s to internet marketing I’ve ever read. Can’t wait for the second to come.

I liked reading the first chapter. When I first entered internet marketing four years ago, the people who introduced it to me tried to keep it secret and obfuscate much of the lingo. I quickly wrote a coreg site and did the whole LLC thing, spending nearly 3 grand in legal fees and licensing/hosting to get started. By my second year I was making about $500 a month from all organic traffic. I have been stuck ever since at a point of having two sites generating about the same amount every month with no advertising budget at all, and I am hoping the course will give me some insight on how to grow my traffic and revenue. Thank you for this program and I will do my best to complete assignments.

I must agree you are making your points loud and clear. Simple format via question and answers. I would like you to charge a fee because nothing is free these days. People do not value freebies, no not anymore.
