Maybe that is the key, that you don’t blog with the intent to make money at first. Because when you start a money making blog that is often all you are concentrating on – how can I get more traffic so I can sell more ebooks.

I get so caught up in ways to monetize things that I forget, if you have good content you’ll prob be able to monetize exponentially as your readership grows. we’re just starting out but that really helps my focus. thanks.

I find this quite interesting and dead on view point. I realize that you sell affiliate products and more, but yes, your readers will need to actually grasp every word you write on it, and as well over a certain period of time.

I have only just started in online marketing and blogging. My initial thoughts are that to create, and more importantly, maintain a blog, you have to have some passion for it. I think the point Jeremy makes about blogging for fun, not profit is important. Its quite easy to spot a money making blog from one which serves to give the reader information. Have fun, work hard, then make money!
