ShoeMoney Resolves Google Money Tree Issue

by Jeremy Schoemaker on March 19, 2009

For some time, ShoeMoney Media has been trying to find the person who had been using our copyrighted image without our consent.  Since we began this search and the associated legal action, we have been getting a few emails a day asking how the case is going.  So let me update everyone.

Today we have settled out of court with the company who was using our image without our consent.  I am not allowed to release the company’s name, the amount of the settlement, or any other details, so I won’t be able to respond to any of your e-mails or comments about this issue.

The real winner here is YOU.  After I have paid my legal expenses, the remaining settlement money will be used for some charitable events we have in the works.  Watch for those in the next few months.
