Just got my autographed copy of Twitter Power by New York Times best selling Author Joel Comm.
In short, is a manual on “How to Dominate Your Market One Tweet at a Time.”
The book starts off with a brief introduction to Social Media, and then goes on to discuss how Twitter was founded. Joel then does a great job of discussing how to get started using Twitter. Describing the Art of the Tweet, how to build a following and using Twitter to build your brand. Some are calling this the definitive guide on Twitter for business.
Joel does a great job covering about anything you can possible think of in this book in regards to twitter. Good stuff.

hi, really this book can help us to be a professional blogers ?
March 20, 2009 at 5:08 pm
This blogs sucks. I came here because it was a big money-maker. It’s just a bunch of crap. I did like the blurb (among other extremely short blurbs) about Obama, though. Other than that, I cannot figure out why this such a big money maker.
March 22, 2009 at 10:17 am
this what we call, webmaster ! if you are a famous blog, no matter what kind of info or direction you give, everybody will stick and follow you just wish to be as success as you are ! So, don’t blaming but keep going and believe you be one of him one day !
March 18, 2009 at 10:34 am
I’ve been on Twitter since 2006, I go back and check it every once in a while but I’m still not “hooked” yet. Maybe it’s just not for me?
April 2, 2009 at 9:43 am
You don’t use it to market anything?
March 17, 2009 at 7:19 pm
Hi man, you looks handsome, i would like to become a regular vistor, i like your site.
March 17, 2009 at 2:59 pm

March 16, 2009 at 5:23 pm
I say… I like Joel. He has been quite the pioneer online.
March 16, 2009 at 1:03 pm
Did you buy this book yourself or was it a free gift?
March 15, 2009 at 5:38 pm
I want a book that is signed!!! How can I make that happen….
March 15, 2009 at 2:20 pm
What I am bewildered by is the size of the book. I have read plenty of ebooks about twitter and I slightly struggle to see how you could fill a book that size with all useful info.
March 15, 2009 at 12:20 pm
Man you look alien. Seriously .. You have that succesful blogs only aliens can have it. I think you have sacrifised your hairs to have such succesful blog.
March 15, 2009 at 10:10 am

March 15, 2009 at 7:45 am
Yeah I forgot to mention that you are looking cool in this full sleeve black t shirt.
March 15, 2009 at 7:33 am
This time Joe is fixing the price at very low. What is the reason and in your hand this one is looking good pages book.
I think this will be a good buy and worthful as well.
March 14, 2009 at 8:42 pm

March 14, 2009 at 8:58 am
I’ve been looking for a great book on Twitter. I love Joel Comm’s writing, so this is absolutely ideal.
Maybe this will be the kick I need to finally get my Tweet on. I’ll grab a copy asap – thanks for the review.
March 14, 2009 at 1:01 am
I also like underlining working in the text,it helps me greatly because I choose what I need and will apply at the present moment. In spite of the book being dirty the work becomes more productive.
March 14, 2009 at 12:50 am
Twitter is defiantly a great marketing tool i think i will head over to chapters tomorrow an pick up the book and learn something new.
March 13, 2009 at 2:46 pm
I wonder how much a signed copy is?
-Mike
March 13, 2009 at 2:27 pm
Jeremy,
I won a copy of the signed, Twitter Power book over at Zac Johnson’s blog @moneyreign on Twitter.
Joel Comm is Live on UStream TV every Wednesday at 1:00 PM EST (10:00 AM PST). He and Dan Nickerson are very entertaining, and can hook you up with a simul-cast if you ask!

So have you finished that one or still reading ?? Please let us know and if you want to share some tips from there as well.
March 13, 2009 at 12:43 pm
Sounds like a good book. I haven’t joined the twitter bandwagon yet but it’s probably about time..
March 13, 2009 at 9:42 pm
I just joined this week! You should definitely try it.
March 16, 2009 at 9:16 am
Yeah. Once you get in, you’ll find it hard to stop tweeting. It’s addictive.
March 13, 2009 at 11:50 am
CCoColl,
March 13, 2009 at 9:49 am
I might have to take a look at this book seeing how I’m a noob to twitter and how Twitter is taking off.
Also since you are beginning a twitter war with Disa Johnson that book might come in handy for you. lol
March 13, 2009 at 9:43 pm
More like a legal war lol
March 15, 2009 at 7:37 am
Joel already called accepted that Jeremy have the twitter power so he knows every ins and out of twitter.
March 13, 2009 at 8:19 am
Sometimes I wonder how certain marketers get so much done. Joel Comm seems like he has a lot of things going at once.
March 13, 2009 at 9:51 am
I know! I wish I was able to get as much down as he does. I guess Time Management is everything. Otherwise he sleeps only a couple hours a night and the rest he is working hard.
March 13, 2009 at 9:48 pm
I do too.
I bet he has a lot of people working for him and performing the easy tasks.
March 15, 2009 at 7:38 am
Or may be he got the great team which is working for him. But to manage the team also you should know the art of delegation.
March 13, 2009 at 8:00 am
From your basic rundown, the book looks like a pretty solid buy. Twitter is really exploding userbase wise, and a lot of companies seem to now be realizing it. Competition is increasing on twitter, and being able to establish a brand is definitely huge in reaching success.
March 13, 2009 at 7:45 am
Just saw this book at the local book store. It looked like a book that I would like to buy, but the retail price ( $24.95), seemed a bit high. At $15 on Amazon its worth buying.
March 13, 2009 at 7:43 am
damn I need joel to sign my book!
March 13, 2009 at 7:32 am
Cool! Is there an e-book version of it?
March 12, 2009 at 11:53 pm
This seems a must have book. Aren´t it in a ebook format, that would be faster to get it.
March 12, 2009 at 11:34 pm
What Joe is writing a book on twitter NOW ??
What he is doing ?? Sleeping
Joe you have missed your market share this time and this is really a big loss to you for Twitter subject.
March 13, 2009 at 8:10 am
How exactly is this a big loss? Sure he’s not the first to do, but he’s doing it at a time when Twitter is truly exploding. Not to mention his name speaks for itself.
March 15, 2009 at 4:43 am
Mate if you will deliver the right thing at right time than people will use more.
Let me tell you with an example Jeremy earned huge money from adsense because he have started that at the early stage and at that time adsense was paying really great money … but now every blogger is using adsense and hence make more competition so you are getting less pay.
I hope I am clear
April 2, 2009 at 9:44 am
Well, it really depends on what the blogger is doing. There are still people making a living off Adsense, while others are only making pennies.
March 12, 2009 at 10:04 pm
I agree that Joel does a great job, Twitter is the next level social media that can turn your sales on if you know how to use it. I’ve also heard the acquisitions issue of Twitter and Google, what’s the buzz?
March 12, 2009 at 10:24 pm
Google certainly would love to buy this one … but let us enjoy this service first … I know when Google will acquire this we will be able to see long TOS for that …
March 12, 2009 at 11:35 pm
Your this means – Twitter ??
Google have past about acquiring companies. You Tube, Blogger, Feedbuner are the perfect example of it.
March 12, 2009 at 11:55 pm
Just hope Google does not take Twitter, it would be a lot rules that will make twitter less fun.
March 13, 2009 at 9:54 pm
Google has said they are not interested.
March 15, 2009 at 7:30 am
And you have taken it for granted. But however do you any link of such comments by them and who have made it ?
I would love to see that
March 12, 2009 at 10:04 pm
So one more person who is telling the magic of Twitter. But I think this time Joe is bit late … as Twitter already touched the high level and thousands people utilising it to make money.
March 15, 2009 at 7:43 am
Yeah quite agree with you but he have great number of followers on twitter as well … its around 25336.
Thats simply superb. I think Jeremy also have huge followers. Counters saying it is 21K.
March 12, 2009 at 9:57 pm
Do you know if the book has hit retail stores? Seems like a big hefty book there, over 250+ pages? Thanks!
March 13, 2009 at 9:56 pm
Yea, it has.
March 12, 2009 at 9:37 pm
Cool. I’ve heard of the book, but didn’t think too much of it. Seems like it would have some useful into though, maybe i’ll check it out.
March 12, 2009 at 11:37 pm
Books from Joe is always worthy. I read his book on Adsense and that one really helped me to earn good amount of money from adsense.
Interesting thing is his adsense tricks are still providing me money.
March 12, 2009 at 9:10 pm
Jeremy, when are you going to be releasing your own book? I think if you published your own book that was a comprehensive type guide to launching a website, it would do really good.
March 12, 2009 at 8:30 pm
the best way to read that big book should be .read, digest and implement, pass the section you already know and open up Google analytic to see what is going on after wards, yet I read this book, but at Joel Comm Adwords guide I know I found some inspiration I never thought before..hope this does to
March 12, 2009 at 7:40 pm
Cool! I got mine too. Was definitely a good thing for Joel to release his Twitter book, now with it going so mainstream recently.
March 12, 2009 at 7:24 pm
Looks like a kid with his first bag of candy in that pic..
Man Twitter is all over this place…Leno last night, CNN all today…Everyone is talking about Twitter..
March 12, 2009 at 7:23 pm
sounds like a great book and written by a NYT best seller! wow….price seems like a wise investment to pick up a few tips. Thanks!
March 12, 2009 at 7:13 pm
You are obviously a sell-out.
March 12, 2009 at 7:45 pm
This is your first time realizing this?
March 12, 2009 at 9:56 pm
Give him time he will come to know more about you … specially your trade mark face on Friday T Shirt … lollzz
March 12, 2009 at 9:24 pm
Let’s all thank Mr. Obama for that informative comment. Carry on Mr. President. ;-(
March 13, 2009 at 9:57 pm
Have we not elected Barack Obama enough, yet?
March 12, 2009 at 6:42 pm
Do you think this is really worth it? Nothing against Joel or anything, but doesn’t Twitter seem pretty basic?
March 12, 2009 at 7:46 pm
Twitter is pretty basic. Seeing all the ways to market with it is not
March 12, 2009 at 9:59 pm
Twitter is at third place to me providing loyal and regular traffic.
Certainly this one is a cool and powerful.
March 12, 2009 at 6:16 pm
thank for the review, im totally gonna buy it
March 12, 2009 at 6:14 pm
Gotta get my copy… so I can win that prize money for the photo with Twitter Power contest.
Plus it might be an interesting read.
March 12, 2009 at 6:12 pm
Sounds great PLUS Joel is a good writer……..i might go for it
March 12, 2009 at 5:58 pm
I agree that Joel does a lot of great stuff. My thought on the book, though: is it really necessary or did he simply jump on the wave of popularity of Twitter to make a buck?
I haven’t read the book, so what say you, Jeremy?
March 13, 2009 at 8:03 am
If I were to venture a guess, I’d say a little bit of both. Why not do something to make a buck? And Twitter is expanding crazy fast. Heck, we were just talking about it on Wednedsay in my class, considering how we as future teachers can utilize twitter as a learning tool.
March 12, 2009 at 5:57 pm
Didnt realize it was already launched until i saw this post, March 4th launch date http://twitterpower.com/
How is the book? Seems to be a hard job to read such a big book!
March 12, 2009 at 9:09 pm
@Amit – I’m usually with ya Amit, but for some reason books that give me new ways to increase or market my business in different ways make for quick reads. (#):)
March 12, 2009 at 10:03 pm
Well for me … Book which taught me how to learn is always easy to read
… I complete them within one week.
I prefer at night when I am on bed … I just underline those points which are crucial … remember those underlines which we did in schools …
March 13, 2009 at 6:07 am
I remember those lines of course.the line make the book dirty, and after we line across here and there, rarely will the book be written again
