One thing which we missed was his face. At least he show us the face.
But hats off to you for the noble cause.
January 27, 2009 at 9:02 am

January 27, 2009 at 4:39 am

January 26, 2009 at 9:54 pm
I applaud you on your dedication to charity, but you’re still crazy
January 26, 2009 at 9:07 pm
That’s weird. My comments are broken on the Facebook post after this… This is mostly just a test.
January 26, 2009 at 7:16 pm
You’ve got guts!
January 26, 2009 at 6:16 pm
Wow, lol.
This is an excellent piece of link bait, definitely more effort put in than most of them out there, and definitely deserved!
January 26, 2009 at 5:54 pm
You’d think I would have been the first one to comment on this one. That shit was cold.
Oh, and it’s nice to see that you fixed the comments javascript.
January 26, 2009 at 4:53 pm
*ugh* I live in Alaska and people do that every year here too. Not me! It’s bad enough to have to do your everyday activities outside in freezing temps, let alone jumping in freezing water!
On the positive side, our 2 week 40-below stretch never returned. It’s a tropical 5 degrees above zero now!

I used to live in Alaska. That’s where I started doing it. Props to the AK.
January 26, 2009 at 4:05 pm

January 26, 2009 at 1:06 pm

January 26, 2009 at 12:42 pm
So, does this start the “Look what I can do in a Shoemoney TShirt” comp”?
Good Stuff JtGraphic, nuts, but good.
February 2, 2009 at 5:30 pm
I was hoping to bait a donation out of him :-/
January 26, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Oh snaps, in shorts too. Heck no. But he did represent though. I am in Canada right now so I am feeling his pain about the cold.
January 26, 2009 at 5:59 pm
This was pretty warm compared to last week. It was -31 the night I got back from Affiliate Summit. Props to Canada though.
January 26, 2009 at 6:12 pm
God, don’t get me started about the cold in Canada.
It’s -40 here in New Brunswick constantly, and I can’t even get out my front door anymore because of the snow.
January 26, 2009 at 7:26 pm
It dropped to -40 here about 5 years ago… Noooooo fun…
January 26, 2009 at 12:08 pm
That is awesome JT. And like Dan said those guys are very organized I like it.
January 26, 2009 at 5:58 pm
I actually helped them organize it. It was a pretty awesome turnout. We’re still accepting donations.
January 26, 2009 at 11:20 am
As Aretha F would say: R E S P E C T !
January 26, 2009 at 5:57 pm
Thanks, LOL
January 26, 2009 at 11:19 am
Very streamlined and organized for a polar plunge. Nice.
January 26, 2009 at 11:03 am
That’s awesome – honestly I’ve never fully understood the purpose of the polar plunge – I guess its more tradition than anything else – but I’d rather avoid the pneumonia – but props on the Shoemoney promotion – that’s great!
January 26, 2009 at 10:56 am
Great Stunt JT..You are a Super Star
January 26, 2009 at 10:47 am
it should be cold….but i don’t understand what he trying to show us. Is it just show the t-shirt? Anybody know about that?
January 26, 2009 at 10:58 am
Probably a little event or something. Not sure myself, but that was crazy.
January 26, 2009 at 11:02 am
huh?
January 26, 2009 at 5:57 pm
It was for charity. You can still donate to the cause too. It’s for the United Way transitional housing fund (for people that can’t afford heat and stuff). Just shoot me an email and I’ll give you details. james.thompson@acutevt.com
January 26, 2009 at 6:11 pm
You’re going to get spammed
January 26, 2009 at 7:25 pm
meh…
I’ve since set up a donate button on my blog
http://www.jtgraphic.net/about/
It’s nearish the bottom
January 26, 2009 at 11:12 pm
Ha ha ha, I don’t think James bothers about that – he’s doing it for charity, so spammers can spam him all they like, it doesn’t matter,
January 27, 2009 at 5:22 pm
You’ve got it. I get occasional offers and stuff, but it’s not too bad…
January 26, 2009 at 10:40 am
Wow! Major kudos to this guy. I barely even go outside in the winter because I hate the cold weather, much less jumping into icy cold water.
January 26, 2009 at 10:39 am
That man must be insane!
January 26, 2009 at 5:55 pm
Nah, I’m just eccentric
The temperature dipped to -16 that night…
January 26, 2009 at 6:10 pm
That’s in Fahrenheit, right?
January 26, 2009 at 7:24 pm
Yeah
January 29, 2009 at 6:59 am
maybe the temperature was much colder in outside this and when you go don the temperature was the same or little colder but you are a brave man !!

January 26, 2009 at 10:34 am
That must have been cold as hell…How dare he disrespects a shoemoney shirt and get it wet…who does that?!
January 26, 2009 at 10:36 am

January 26, 2009 at 10:59 am
LOL!! Thats awesome – I bet if there are any aliens from outer space watching, they are probably wondering WTF us crazy humans are doing lol
January 26, 2009 at 11:33 am
I’m thinking about that statement Taris and you have to be smoking some good stuff…
January 26, 2009 at 11:36 am
Common man – you can’t tell me you don’t believe in extra terrestrial life?? To think that in a universe so big, we’re the only planet with intelligent life would be a bit foolish
January 26, 2009 at 6:09 pm
Lol wow.
That’s exactly how I think of it as well.
January 26, 2009 at 11:39 am
I never said anything about not believing in E.T.s…
January 26, 2009 at 4:42 pm
Ahhh arrite I misunderstood!!!
February 2, 2009 at 5:28 pm
But these ladies got their @shoemoney shirts wet:
http://twitpic.com/1av8c
I don’t think that’s disrespectful at all
January 26, 2009 at 5:55 pm
I agree
