I am pretty excited. We have never had so much interest so fast in the Elite Retreat.
Someone made a really good comment yesterday and asked why I didn’t link to last years recap. I dunno I just forgot
.

For those wanting to read reviews from people who attended there are a ton from that url.
A lot of people yesterday in the comments on this blog were complaining about the price and stuff and I totally understand. This conference is not meant for people looking to “start” making money online. Its meant for businesses or websites who are already doing pretty good to take their business or website to the next level. I assemble the best people in the industry I know from all corners to do that. Between our combined experiences and connections for 2 full days of doing nothing but analyzing companies and coming up with game plans for them its a giant recipe for success. For the people that attend its a massive tipping point in their business.
We only allow 35 people to come and everyone must sign a non disclosure agreement that they will not reveal what anyone else does or says without their express written permission.
I am super pumped for this years event. We have some awesome things cooking I will be sharing in the next few months!
There are a few seats left so make sure you sign up today if interested!

November 19, 2008 at 11:31 am
Don’t you mean 75% approved? I thought this was an application process.
November 19, 2008 at 11:28 am
Good Job 75% sold out on 1st day indicates clearly how
popular online marketing has become.
November 18, 2008 at 5:50 pm

November 18, 2008 at 4:14 pm
Congratulations. I do not have 5K to attend an event like this. How about a Fun Bum Slum for the rest of us? Price, 50$?
November 18, 2008 at 1:05 pm

November 18, 2008 at 11:37 am

November 18, 2008 at 7:59 am
Excellent. Sounds like this won’t be a maybe/maybe not retreat every year.
November 18, 2008 at 7:13 am
Man thats awesome, if I would be near, i would be there for sure.
November 18, 2008 at 6:11 am
75% sold out on 1st day indicates clearly how popular online marketing has become, and I predict it to be one of the few areas of business showing true growth during the coming economic crises.

The population receives money from a second secret job. -)))

November 18, 2008 at 1:58 am
Shoe, check your e-mail. I just sent you info on one of the guys I met at Pubcon who wanted in. Not sure if he qualifies, let me know after you see it.
November 18, 2008 at 1:31 am
great shoe……there are always something new in your post
November 18, 2008 at 1:29 am
You guys should do a retreat for us poor folks. Do it completely online via Ustream and online chat…. super low budget and charge $99 a head. Maybe a simple one day event.
I’d buy… would anyone else?
November 18, 2008 at 1:30 am
Actually, I meant to say $97 a head. That seems to be the popular price point these days
November 18, 2008 at 1:09 am
Have been reading all the recaps I could find, all very exciting. Particularly that some of the past paid attendees have been (or could be) speakers at conferences themselves. Shows that we should never stop learning.
November 18, 2008 at 1:02 am
I’ll be there next year, I promise.
November 22, 2008 at 12:33 am
Why not this?
November 18, 2008 at 12:51 am
Wow….75% sold out in the first day. That is an amazing figure. You must be pumped for this event. Hope you sell all your tickets and that things go really well. Wait till I have a large company in 1 or 2 years….then I will be there
November 18, 2008 at 12:45 am
good hustle!!
November 18, 2008 at 12:13 am
“This conference is not meant for people looking to “start” making money online.”
Umm…maybe I’ll qualify next year.
November 17, 2008 at 11:57 pm
Awesome that you’ve already sold that many spots. Seems like the bigger bloggers took away the affiliate sales for the little guy.
Guess that’s how the cookie crumbles.
November 18, 2008 at 12:12 am
actually we were surprised at how small sites got the affiliate sales. I am talking REALLY small.
November 18, 2008 at 12:32 am
Really good but thats does means buyer will start making money with next day
November 18, 2008 at 6:03 am
That is quite gratifying to hear. The smaller guys are making themselves heard!
November 18, 2008 at 11:55 am
Should I be insulted?
November 18, 2008 at 12:16 pm
Would be a great shoemoney case study on what your most successful affiliates did to drive $5,000 sales!
November 18, 2008 at 5:54 pm
little guy can win
November 17, 2008 at 11:55 pm
Shoe do you plan to run any contests to give a seat away? How about running a contest for anyone who writes a blog post about this great event!
November 17, 2008 at 11:57 pm
I would be down for that! I would be more then happy to write about the event, especially if I had a crack at winning an opportunity to attend!
November 18, 2008 at 12:13 am
A few affiliate networks have purchased tickets to give away to their affiliates. Check with your network. Our biggest worry in “giving” away tickets is it dilutes the value of the conference. Many times people forge valuable relationships with attendees.
November 18, 2008 at 12:50 am
yeah if i were going i wouldn’t want some noobs who just won their tickets and dont really know their stuff
November 22, 2008 at 12:32 am
I think this is a good idea too.. I vote for it!
