Hi Jeremy,
I am currently building a community review based site for my niche and I was wondering how to seed it, do I pay people to write reviews and if so, what are the guidelines such as how much to pay per review? Or should I hold a contest, the most quality reviews in a given time period wins something, money or a prize?

Hi Jeremy,
Q1. Do you still have link building done for your projects via traditional directory submissions and the like, or do you just not worry about link building and let the “quality” of the project go viral enough to get quality links on top sites?
Q2. What are some of the non-traditional ways you promote your sites that even us small timers can employ to increase our site popularity?

What tips do you have for monetizing a small-niche forum that is large? I’ve contacted everyone in my niche that I can think of, and yet to have any success for direct sales. However, surely someone would want to advertise on the site for 15,000 impressions a day for $50/month.

When starting a new blog that’s just few weeks old. What advertising method will you recommend one to use. Like me, I am a bit confused. i know you always preach for good content. But is there any other way to boost readership for new blogs?

Jeremy,
Loved yesterdays newsletter. I have one or two questions about this…
1) How can we actually track this? This is my main concern with this business model – you are relying on the merchant being 100% honest. I think businesses would only report around half of their actual leads. How do you prevent this?
2) Do you sell a ‘final customer’, or just leads. What I mean is, do you do the sale (for example, make an apoointment for the user to see the dentist) or do you just take the users details and pass these onto the dentist?
I have been working with local businesses in my area for around 3 years with internet marketing, but they all want to pay me to manage their marketing. They don’t want to pay for each lead – how can I convert my current clients to go for the new model?

HEY SHOE where are all the blacks in technology.
I can name a ton of suits who are vp’s or executives for major corporations, but when it comes to being founders or the creative mind behind a website or technology they are usually absent. I know race has nothing to do with it . Its more about exposure.
I am not complaining, but i just notice that at local user groups and code fest I am usually the only black kid there.
how do i expose other to this entrepreneur movement that’s going on online?

When you buy products that are designed for physical health, such as walking shoes, bed mattresses and computer chairs, do you go for the top of the range with all the bells and whistles to ensure you’re giving your back, knees, neck, etc the best support possible or do you think the top of the range is always an overpriced rip off and just go with something cheaper that you think will do just as good a job?
Should these purchases be considered as investing in your health and well-being?

I just started a local website design company in Des Moines, what is a great cheap way to market to business without websites? Direct mail, PPC, calling them? Each way tends to have lots of laws in the way between spam and do not call lists.

How you do it? Are you relaying only on your feeling or doing some more analytical research?
