$50.00 FaceBook Coupon Code In November Newsletter
$50.00 FaceBook Coupon Code In November Newsletter
Posted October 31st, 2008 by Jeremy Schoemaker
I know I just talked about it the other day about how much work I put into the November Newsletter (goes out tomorrow) but you will not want to miss this one! We do a lot of it with Facebook and when I sent a preview to some of the brass at Facebook they offered to give a free $50.00 code for new users to the Facebook advertising platform to get started.
I better not hear I did not give enough warning this time =P

December 11, 2008 at 7:28 pm
Heck – its December but I still subscribed – don´t imagine I´ll get the coupon though, ho hum!
December 8, 2008 at 2:01 pm
So, to summarize, this either was a SCAM (never had a valid code, just wanted to promote newsletter), or a mistake that Shoe will not comment on.

Hi Jeremy,
Just got the newsletter thanks! I just created my first FaceBook ad and tried to use your coupon code ’shoemoneynl’ and it doesn’t work. It says it’s expired or already used. Just thought I’d let you know. Hopefully we can get this fixed, I’d love to take advantage of the $50 bucks!

Nice one Shoe!! I’ve been really looking forward to this newsletter ever since you mentioned it.
The money part is nice but I’m sure that you are going to give some great advice/tips inside this newsletter and I can’t wait to try them out and make some money!
October 31, 2008 at 11:19 am
Anxious to try Facebook, $50 bucks extra will seal that deal. I am sure there will be ad tips in the newsletter too?
Lesson there about working with vendors and sponsors, Facebook is no small catch to get some assistance from.
October 31, 2008 at 11:58 am
Seriously…. I’ve been waiting for a good reason to get going with the facebook ad system as well….and the $50 free smackers will be pushing me over the edge….
October 31, 2008 at 11:17 am
Sweet! Thanks, Shoe!!!
October 31, 2008 at 11:07 am

October 31, 2008 at 10:47 am
Signed up for newsletter a while ago and will use it.
October 31, 2008 at 10:39 am
Awesome …Will take it
October 31, 2008 at 10:39 am
Thats awesome I am awaiting the newsletter..wonder how paid ads on facebook perform ??
October 31, 2008 at 10:35 am
Perfect….
October 31, 2008 at 10:33 am
I did some Facebook advertising a while ago for a relationship site and got a CTR of .13%. It didn’t generate a heck of a lot of traffic, and nothing converted into signups or sales for me…
Is this promo just for new advertisers or can it be applied to an existing advertising account?
October 31, 2008 at 10:08 am
What, only $50!
lol, seriously, very cool of you to arrange that!
October 31, 2008 at 10:01 am
Great Hope the new newsletter goes well, great idea with the social networking.
October 31, 2008 at 9:56 am
Great Jeremy, thanks. I’d be interested to hear how the facebook advertising works for you and others.
October 31, 2008 at 9:42 am

November 5, 2008 at 5:33 am
completed the form long back. Got the newsletter today, but has nothing to offer. Anyone here, can please elaborate..
October 31, 2008 at 9:37 am
Woohoo! That’s worth the newsletter alone.
October 31, 2008 at 9:34 am
Oh thats a great idea. I cant wait to get your November newsletter to see how i can get the code for facebook ads.
October 31, 2008 at 9:26 am
Wow that $50.00 can go a long way in testing the ads on facebook
October 31, 2008 at 9:21 am
This November newsletter just keeps getting better and better!
October 31, 2008 at 9:22 am
I used Facebook for advertising my blog. In a 2 week period I ended up getting approximately 20 click-throughs.
I’ve been thinking about trying it again.
October 31, 2008 at 10:05 am
Steven,
That sounds pretty low. I read somewhere that facebook ads are not as good at generating a lot of leads for advertisers but that might have been wrong..
November 4, 2008 at 7:12 am
Yup, starngely enough, ads on facebook are not that effective. Maybe it’s because people are mostly involved in their chats and facebook applications to give any attantion to adds. Plus those ads open in the same window which makes them even more irritating because they get you out of your current page and have to click on back to find your way back where you left off. So no wonder they don’t get clicked that much.
October 31, 2008 at 12:34 pm
no wonder you didn’t got anything valuable. This kinds of ads doesn’t work on Facebook
November 8, 2008 at 11:01 pm
thats relatively a low number, I wonder what the conversion rate would be
October 31, 2008 at 9:13 am
That’s pretty Darn Sweet Shoe! I’m excited to try the facebook network out.
October 31, 2008 at 9:12 am
Awesome – looking forward to it!
November 3, 2008 at 7:00 pm
Heck yeah…sounds good. I have been wanting to test out them and SU advertising. Shoes got some pull… Go Shoe Go
October 31, 2008 at 9:09 am
Very cool.. I’m in.
October 31, 2008 at 9:36 am
That sounds like a great idea.. But what’s the catch – do you have to buy something for $100 in order to get the $50 coupon or do you only have to provide a credit card in order to be eligible for the coupon?
October 31, 2008 at 11:13 am
You have to have a credit card!
October 31, 2008 at 12:00 pm
Credit Card is a must for this one I’m pretty sure…
November 4, 2008 at 6:15 am
yup, I also have a problem with online transactions that only happen with a credit card. If you don’t have one, then you’re can’t have it.
October 31, 2008 at 3:31 pm
If there’s no catch count me in too…free is a pretty good price.
Matt
October 31, 2008 at 3:32 pm
I don’t consider a credit card a “catch” most of us have one.
I’m still in.
November 8, 2008 at 11:00 pm
dont see any catch in this
